She would not indulge in fantasies, a life that was once promised, forbidden to flourish as she sought freedom, fated to shatter her restraints by sheer will. saizou scolding sayuri about something battle related and she ends up crying in front of him, but not like wailing and sobbing, just like smol tears falling and he Does Not Know what to do and feels just a Little guilty. sayuri was not made for the battlefield, but she tries her best so his words stung

saizou quietly watching her when she’s on patrol making sure she’s safe after said conversation with his ~ninja skills~ but sayuri can hear him through the trees
