round #2 of furiosa today <3 to be honest I expected more from the 4D, but i must say the japanese dub was phenomenal❗️it made mary jabassa (charlee fraser) even hotter and it made chris hemsworth's performance eons more believable!!! also the "my fury" line in japanese...... <3

#mom wanted to rewatch the movies so we've been going thru them <3 #talk about a movie thats just like. grief. i turn into the jamie lee curtis halloween trauma supercut #SORRY..... the visuals are peak like that IS the hp vibe to ME and i am BLOWN AWAY this movie was made in 2004 it feels ahead of its time #the first two are so whimsical and magical enrapturing and this movie is like. a well worn cardigan. this feels 2011 cozycore to me #sorry but the introduction of lupin becoming a comforting trusted guardian type of figure AND the dementors representing hollow depression #this 13 yr old whos been kept in the dark on so many things being extra vulnerable prey to them bc of the severe trauma #but getting lessons on how to withstand that creeping dread.. through happy memories... still bonding w lupin increasngly ouagh...#the grief between them both over james and lily. also btw ofc defense against the dark arts being fighting yr fears through laughter. aaaaaa #and then sirius. black. im. i know we meme on the twelve years of it! in azkaban! but as a bitch whos now closer to those characters in age #and can appreciate and understand them obv more than i could when i was. a tween. that just hits like ok shit. Constantly torn between writing a character to be just a nice guy and writing that character to be the most fucked up creature in existence

i know that when i've been riffing on a fic exploring some of amity and astarion's dynamic in act one i've been focusing on amity being bashful and taken aback, and trying to be polite and tactful while navigating his advances, but i think that's only gonna last so long. depending on how things go, it might reach a point where amity is too wound up by the pressures of Everything, and maybe also too wounded and tired, to muster the energy it requires to be tactful and she just gets real blunt

like in response to that 'on my honor, the only thing on my mind is depraved, carnal lust' line her brain just. fucking breaks.

"hmm. okay. why. why? why with me. do you want something from me? are you trying to get something from me? what's going on. why are you doing this. there is no possible way i would be your first choice for this, we are -- surrounded by devastatingly attractive people, including you, and notably not including me, and i am aware of that and it's fine. it is fine. i know this. but still you are -- complimenting me. pursuing me. why. what do you get."

no guarantees she'd actually get to that point, or that even if she did, she'd feel emboldened enough to say all that. she's got an exceptionally high tolerance for bullshit.

she might also get to a similarly blunt point in one of her many Exceptionally, Deliriously Sleepy times, tho that would probably be a bit less incensed. something simple like, "hey, why do you waste your time on me? not, like, the blood-drinking, i get that. although i really think that at this point, wyll has warmed up to you enough that he might let you bite him. but i mean. everything else. the compliments. the attention. why?"

and then she passes the fuck out before getting an answer

#hfkdhdjdjdj im still like was that real..... i actually got to see the show.........#it feels like a dream 😭😭😭😭 it was so magical yall 💖#hdjdhdj tuggers actor was FINE 😅 listen i have seen some awful awful tuggers so this one was #a lovely surprise and i enjoyed him a lot #although one complaint i have is that they REALLY reduced tuggers role in other songs #also yall if you think you love the misto number already you rlly have to go see it live #bc like all of the love that you already have will be surpassed by a hundred fold #it rlly is indescribable how good that number especially is live. the atmosphere enhances it sm #and the arrangement they used for the song was so good??? i wish i could listen to this version on yt #and all the extra bits not in the clean filmed version are just so nice #and tugger and misto danced together in it a lot and it was so cute #aaaaaa i loved every number but the other stand outs for me were jenny and of course all of grizabella #anyway yeah i forgot to post bc after the show ended we got korean food bc it was my moms birthday #and then we just watched the numbers on yt in the evening hsjfkdhd and then i got sick so #OH YEAH and the jellicle ball is just incomparable when you see it live!! victorias actress was also unreal #anyway yeah if this show ever comes back to finland im definitely going again #and this time getting tickets the second theyre available to get a seat on the floor seats #to get rlly close!!!
