roronoa zoro's guide to relationship (smut)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
tysm everyone for your love and support on the previous post ! ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ i'm so sorry for how long this other post was to come, but work has been pretty exhausting and as you may know, i'm a lawyer so when it comes to having free time it gets hard lmao this one was requested by @jinjen, i hope they'll like it ! <3
i'm also working on a "one shot" smut for roronoa zoro that i've had in mind for so long, i hope you'll like it!!
minors dni !! 18+ only.
here's a headcanon of what a relationship with roronoa zoro would include sexually. i had a female partner in mind when writting which is why it's pretty gender based !
wc : 860
even before being in a relationship with roronoa zoro, the sexual tension between his s/o and himself was beyond compare ; his hair would bristle when he heard their voice, when their hands would touch at dinner, when they just entered the room. the tension between them is so high it gets hard to breathe. his eyes would linger on their figure like those of a ruthless predator ready to pounce onto their prey. the sway of their hips, the flips of their hair, the bites of their lips, the look of their doe eyes. everything sets him on.
it became a game for the two of them to play with that said tension before getting official. he's a tease after all. but afterwards? hell, there's just no rules. everything's allowed. from their s/o sensually touching his thigh under the table and tracing the shape of his growing erection when everyone's eating to him whispering the dirtiest things into his s/o's ear when they're just sitting reading in the middle of the kitchen with sanji close by. "how 'bout we give that shitty cook a show of how exquisite ya' juices taste ?" "i bet i can make ya squirt before ya reach the bottom of that stupid page baby.". it's all competition, and it's about who's going to resist the urge to cut the tension.
zoro would easily cut it before they do. hell, he's got three swords ffs.
he's always horny for his partner.
aside from this game, zoro can go from being a slow and passionate lover to a ruthless beast. going from "i wanna make love to you" to "i'm gonna fuck you until your brain goes dumb".
when he's in the mood for passionate sex, zoro would take his time to kiss his s/o endlessly. having them onto their lap, grinding slowly but surely, his hand at the back of their neck in a loving yet firm way. he would whisper sweet nothings he won't say in any other circumstances "you're so goddamn pretty", "i want this body on me forever", "i wanna make ya feel good", "let me please you", "i love you".
during those intimate and slow times, his giant figure would be afraid to break you. his cock would pound into their s/o painfully slowly, missionary style, so he can watch them take him so gracefully. he would leave trails of hickeys all over their chest while firmly holding their hands, moving his hips to the rhythm of their racing heartbeats.
he knows their body like his three swords.
would lick and finger your pussy like there's no tomorrow, until your legs shake while praising you so bad. he would lick all of your fluid and even lick his lips before kissing you to "give ya a taste".
he loves it when his s/o praises him, saying how good he's making them feel, or simply hearing his name in between their moans. he feels like he's the strongest in the world.
but the second zoro feels jealous or "dominant" (which would be more appropriate since he feels pretty confident in his ability to please you), oh boy. be ready for a ride.
he would pin their s/o to the nearest surface. anything remotely close : the floor ? check. the dinner table ? check. the desk in your room ? double check. the wall to the shower ? triple check that one. he would grab their face with his right hand, kissing them hard, watching the trails of saliva connecting them with complete lust before diving back into a sloppy yet quite nice kiss, while playing with his s/o's clothed pussy under their dress with his left hand.
if this makeout session came after a meaningless fight (angry sex), he would spin them hard so their ass was pinned to his clothed erection and smack it hard. "gonna be a good girl now or shall i smack some senses outta ya ?" he can be mean during those sessions, but when he would make up for it later.
he would make them suck his giant cock until he hears them gag, saying "ya can take it. look at me while you swallow it all." he loves receiving a blowjob from their partner, seeing his cock disappear into the depth of their throat.
he's so ridiculously strong. he'll have their s/o fucked in every position. makes them cum so many times his s/o loses count, but not him. he's competitive and keeps his record in check. his stamina is pretty solid too.
even in these times, he cannot help but praise their s/o. "your pussy's squeezing me whole", "you're taking my cock so well, looks like it's made for it".
loves shower/bath sex where he can have fun with his partner at the same time.
sleepy morning sex as well <3
in the end, sex remains a matter of trust and intimacy, so no matter how, be sure to know that afterwards, this boy would not let go of you and ask for a back rub just to keep the intimacy going.
would hate it if someone dared interrupting his peace during aftercare (which can happen since luffy and usopp are always going crazy).

hopefully someday i can hear your thoughts through your comments though haha i would really love to hear what you think about Rules and Roses and the way i write the characters as it is my first time. tbh, i am extra curious to know if i'm giving muzan's character justice HAHA but yeah, it never hurts to leave comments so feel free to send them my way.
i also would like to give those people who have not read the manga a heads up, that in this chapter and in the succeeding ones, there will be minor to moderate manga spoilers, so ready with caution.

-
The sun had barely risen over Areswood, its golden hues taking its time enveloping the sky, but Muzan and Douma were already up and busy at Obelisk Kibutsuji, going over their next course of action for their campaigns for the next few months.
Muzan stood at the center of his spacious office. A large map of Phario's electoral districts sprawled across the narra table in front of him, dotted with colorful pins representing key areas of support.
Douma, on the other hand, leaned over the map, his eyes narrowing as he assessed their next move.
"We need to double down our efforts in the southern districts," Douma said, twirling his fan languidly. "The latest polls show we're losing ground there, but it is the opposition's home turf, so I'm not surprised," he added with a hint of mirth.
Muzan nodded, rubbing his temple as he processed the information. He'd been up since dawn, reviewing speeches and strategies. The weight of the campaign was beginning to show in the faint lines on his face and the dark circles under his ruby eyes.
Unlike Douma, Muzan couldn't afford to make light of the situation. Keeping a straight and serious face, he continued to rack his brain for strategies. After a few minutes, Muzan finally spoke, catching everyone's attention.
"Let's schedule a town hall meeting in Azudellin. We need to connect with the voters there and show them we're listening to their concerns."
"Today?" Douma asked.
"Yes, why? Do we have other agendas for today?"
Douma quickly checked his calendar on his phone.
"We have an interview with the Areswood Times in an hour, then a fundraiser lunch at noon, followed by debate prep, and a gala dinner with key donors tonight."
Muzan sighed, his frustration evident in his voice. "We can't afford to delay this. Azudellin is slipping away from us."
Douma, feeling a bit depleted himself, shrugged. "The earliest we can fit it in is next week. It might be too late by then, but who knows? Maybe a miracle will happen."
In the midst of a very important meeting, a knock separated everyone from their own thoughts. One of Muzan's executive assistants, Nakime, walked in with a stack of freshly printed leaflets, oblivious to the tension in the room.
"Sir Kibutsuji, Sir Hashibira, these just came in. The design team finalized the new posters and pamphlets for the campaign trail."
Muzan barely glanced at the leaflets, his mind racing.
"Thank you; just leave them on the table."
Nakime quickly left after obeying his orders, clearly sensing the gravity of the moment.
With mindless eyes, Muzan continued to rack his brain for any backup plan or anything that could be of significant help to the predicament they currently have. Letting out a resigned sigh, Muzan finally opened his eyes and turned to everyone.
"We'll have to make do with what we have," he said, turning to Douma, who's listening intently. "At our interview with Areswood Times today, maybe we could give Azudellin a special shout-out—say something that can please their ears. This is your specialty, so I leave this to you."
Douma nodded, a peculiar smile present on his face. "I'll handle it. I'll make sure our message is loud and clear in the interview today."
Muzan merely nodded at his running mate before turning to the rest of his party.
"Let's deploy a few of you to Azudellin today; get some boots on the ground. We'll organize smaller meet-and-greets throughout the week to keep our presence felt until we can hold the town hall altogether. Take this chance to highlight your own platforms and campaigns as well, but don't oversell yourselves and turn off the locals. Understand? We can't afford any missteps."
A chorus of 'yes, sir.' and 'understood' rang in the room after listening to Muzan's orders. As usual, his commanding voice and his overall demeanor exuded charisma and extreme strictness, which made everybody in the room yield to him so easily.
Muzan scanned the room, making sure everyone's conviction matched his own. Technically, his party has been dominating almost all polls across the entire country, and it's safe to say that he is the number one candidate to win the elections, but he didn't want to remain complacent.
He doesn't want to attribute his victories to silly things like fate or destiny. He did that before and miserably paid the price; after learning his lesson, he vowed to never rely on foolish things ever again and will do everything in his power to ensure his indisputable victory.
Taking a deep breath, Muzan felt assured again.
"Alright. This meeting is adjourned. Thank you, everyone."
*
"Oh, really? That's good to hear, darling. I'm happy for you," Muzan said softly, followed by a fond chuckle as you continued to share what happened during your hair appointment.
You were at the salon, enjoying your usual 'pamper time.' While you were getting your hair done, an A-list celebrity approached you. Initially, she only intended to have a small chat, as you are technically an A-list celebrity yourself. However, as your conversation continued, Ume confided in you that she recently got engaged but hasn't announced it to the public yet.
She personally requested you to be her wedding planner, and of course, you gladly accepted.
"Ahh! I'm so excited. I'm still preoccupied with Ms. Rivera's wedding, but so many ideas for Ms. Ume's wedding are already flooding my mind," you told your husband gleefully.
Muzan chuckled again, his eyes turning into crescent moons as a smile spread across his face, a total contrast to the serious expressions he had earlier.
Muzan prided himself on being level headed even in the most dire situations, but all that bravado would always melt away whenever he was with you. He couldn't help it. Your energy has always been contagious, and when it came to you, he was nothing but a man hopelessly in love with his wife.
Douma, seated in the backseat with Muzan, looked at his running mate with pure intrigue, watching him transform into a lovesick puppy while talking to you.
"Ah, yes, the meeting went great, my love. There were a few bumps here and there, but we managed," Muzan said to you. Knowing you, he anticipated your worry and was proven right when he heard the concern in your voice.
"I see... well, if there's anything I can do to help you guys, you know I'd be more than willing," you said from the other line.
Muzan smiled softly, clearly touched by your investment in his endeavors as much as he was in yours.
"Well, if you're free next week, you can tag along to our town hall at Azudellin," he proposed.
You smiled, having left the salon and decided to go to the mall for some much-needed retail therapy. Akaza wasn't with you today, as he had something to take care of, so Gyokko, one of your security guards, was accompanying you today.
"I don't have anything planned next week. I don't mind joining—wait, can I also do my own charity event there? I haven't done one in a while, and don't you think this is the perfect time? It could help your campaign."
Muzan immediately smiled at this. "You're more than welcome, darling. I'll have my people assist you with your preparations. Just let me know what help you need."
"Aww, you don't have to! But thank you. Let's talk more about this at home later. Maybe we could tailor this with your own community outreach initiatives. I believe you have a couple, right? We can make it a joint one, hitting two birds with one stone."
Muzan was listening intently when Douma reached out to let him know they had reached their destination. Muzan gave him a curt nod before returning to you.
"That's right. Alright, let's talk about it later, Y/N. I need to go; Douma and I are here at the studio already. Take care on your way home, okay? Call me if you need anything."
You nodded with a happy smile on your face. "Okay. See you later, my love. And good luck today. I love you," you said with passion.
Muzan replied just as passionately, "I love you too. Mhm, yes. Goodbye. See you later."
After ending the call, he turned to Douma; his whole demeanor had already changed. "Let's go."
Douma complied, climbing out of the car after him.
As they walked inside the building and toward their dressing room, escorted by a handful of media staff, the vice presidential candidate subtly nudged his running mate.
"It seems like that phone call improved your mood, Pres ."
Muzan smirked, his strides toward the TV studio exuding confidence and pride. "My first lady is quite the wonder woman."
Douma chuckled softly, amused by Muzan's demeanor. "It seems like she has quite an effect on you."
"She does," Muzan replied, his tone unapologetically confident. "She's not just my wife; she's a force to be reckoned with and my equal."
Douma raised an eyebrow, intrigued by Muzan's unabashed praise. "You sound almost unbeatable when she's on your side."
Muzan merely nodded, the cocky smile on his face still present. "Indomitable."
Douma chuckled softly. "You've really got it bad, haven't you?"
Muzan shot him a sidelong glance, a hint of amusement in his eyes. "Do you not feel the same about Shinobu?"
Douma chuckled again. "Hey now, don't underestimate me. My wife is a force of nature herself."
The proud CEO of Obelisk Kibutsuji and Phario's leading presidential candidate simply offered his running mate a rather shallow chuckle as a response and a nod to convey that he agrees with him.
Finally, they reached the TV studio, and the two of them noticed that it was a full house.
"Are you ready?" Douma asked Muzan.
Muzan's gaze swept across the room, his presence commanding attention.
With a confident smirk, he declared,
"To make history? I was born ready.'"
He made his way to the stage, greeted by applause and camera flashes, projecting an aura of assured victory as he took his seat on the couch.
*
The day was finally coming to a close. After spending the entire day at the mall shopping, you were exhausted and hungry.
Initially considering Italian cuisine, it suddenly occurred to you that the downtown burger joint you and Akaza had visited a couple of days ago was nearby.
Opting for convenience and familiarity, you decided to head there and also decided to order takeout for both Akaza and Muzan, as well as Kokushibo and the maids and guards.
Surely, both had returned home by now or were on their way. Muzan's jam-packed schedule guaranteed he would appreciate indulging in fast food after such a long day, and Akaza would undoubtedly welcome the gesture.
And it wouldn't hurt to treat your house staff every now and then. It is something you do every now and then, as it's one of your ways of showing appreciation for the services they provide you.
For Muzan, you chose to order the same as yourself, knowing he preferred healthier options but trusting he would enjoy something you approved.
You already ordered Gyokko to prepare the car, so when your orders are ready, you can just hop in and make a beeline home. As you waited at the counter, you hummed to yourself, glancing around the familiar surroundings of the burger joint.
Once again, a sense of déjà vu struck you, from when you entered earlier and throughout your stay. It's honestly starting to worry you.
"It's nice to see you around here again, my dear."
You turned to the voice—a kindly old lady. "Excuse me?" you asked politely.
The old lady smiled warmly. "It's been quite a while since your last visit."
"Oh, I've been busy these past few days," you replied with a smile. "I really enjoyed my first time here last week."
Confusion crossed the old lady's face at your response.
"Aren't you one of our regulars?"
You frowned, puzzled. "I'm not sure I understand..."
"You've been coming here for years , haven't you? Or am I mistaken?"
Your unease grew visible. "I'm sorry, but I think you have me confused with someone else."
Before you could finish, the old lady turned and retrieved a photo from the wall behind her, returning to you with a smile.
"This is you and your fiancé, right?"
She handed you the photo.
In it, Akaza had his arms around your waist, both of you beaming happily.
Your eyes widen in sheer shock.
"What..."
Turning the photo over, you saw a note scribbled on it:

Tumblr media
I want to overanalyze everything Arle says and how others interact with her. 4.1 spoilers ahead
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(meanwhile Fontaine is the nation of human trafficking, actual slums exist and the law doesn't really apply to the wealthy)
She's very good at being unsettling. Half of what she says is a double-bind, she states things and the opposite of them at the same time. It's not even lies, she just rules out any possibility of truth. A conversation strategy the only goal of which is to throw people off balance. This creates a feeling that she might stab you right now in broad daylight or maybe give you a poisoned piece of cake.
A truly lovely woman.
Also an interesting parallel:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(first meeting with Furina and Arle's farewell to us)
Similar words but we understand what she meant each time, right? She's good. One has to constantly guess with her. It's your fault if you guessed incorrectly.
Tumblr media
Demanding too much before she voices her actual request. The classics of bargaining. Again, she's good.
Tumblr media
Traveler: "he would not fucking say that"
Personally, I think she's bullshiting to check our reaction. One of the best ways of getting information out of someone is to say a thing that is obviously untrue.
As a side note: interesting how hoyo are keeping the story suitable for all headcanons. Haters and indifferent people "know" that he had no chance of learning what food the traveler likes (their character doesn't interact with the boy that much). Shippers can "know" that we share Childe's love for spicy seafood and honey roast, not cake. Shippers who like cake can assume that she reads his letters. I also don't think he knows anything about Arle's taste in desserts, he's too self-centered for that. Anyway, lovely.
Alternative: it's a metaphor. This is obviously not a tea party, it's a battlefield. Childe would totally say *that*. But that's too subtle for most players, I doubt hoyo would do it.
Tumblr media
Everyone who had read Tartaglia's actual letters to home stifled a laugh there. Anyone who has *seen* our dear boy really. He doesn't write about what he contemplates or feels, only about actions. Here's a headache medicine for our dear father. Please tell Anton that people in Liyue don't eat stones, it would be ridiculous. I'll take the first boat home once I've finished making a bloodbath out of this lovely city.
Tumblr media
(a reminder in case anyone forgot)
So. Bullshiting again. Is she trying to check how close we are? Or to demonstrate that she doesn't, in fact, read his letters (even if she does)? I'm not considering the option that she's actually clueless, she's the Fatui spymaster after all.
(if she's trying to learn from us how to mimic his style to get to his family it would mean she's clueless and it would be bad writing)
Also I know that a lot of people are shouting "have you forgotten about the Vision??? stupid traveler, you have a proof that he's alive" and honestly I'm surprised. Why would we want to share *any* information with her? The traveler was visibly upset when Paimon blurted what she blurted. Also, yeah, let's tell a totalitarian country military official that her colleague recently gave one of his favorite weapons to an enemy of the state. Surely it will go swimmingly. That was intentional.
And then her farewell and her thanking us for helping the twins. Her unhingedness is suddenly gone. She might not be genuine but there's no double bind at least. She starts to say things that could be true or untrue.
Also this:
Tumblr media
Not even a guess that the Gnosis could be used to power the Oratrice? After the Akasha terminal plot it's a pretty obvious option to anyone, would she really miss something like that?
Is she trying to push us to do something? It's hard for me to believe that she genuinely doesn't understand. But also she shares that info about a curse. Meh. I don't understand what's happening here.

Rules for the Winx Club's dorm
(Inspired by rules for 1-A)
Bloom: Please stop trying to use your powers in the dorms, you've set off the fire alarm so many times that all the other students think it's broken
Stella: While it's impressive you can do your make-up while sparring, please stop. I can't grade your technique if you are distracted and not trying your best
Flora: No eco crimes of any caliber or I'm banning you from the greenhouse
Tecna: Stop breaking through Alfea's defenses as a "test" of your skill. You are going to let someone slip in one of these days. I will make you a barrier to play around with, just stop doing it to the main one
Musa: Please keep your music at an acceptable volume
Hearing other people playing music is NOT a challenge
Aisha: Stop climbing the outside of the school. I will find somewhere for you to rock climb, you're scaring the other students by climbing past their windows
Stop telling the other students Bloom is God. Being the Fairy that holds the power of the Great Dragon's Flame, is not the same thing as being the Great Dragon
Bloom: Stop using your powers to convince the other students you are God
Someone using purple magic is NOT bulletproof evidence that they are Darcy. Stop attacking random students
Bloom: That goes double for you
Stella: Stop telling people Tecna is a robot
Tecna: Stop using your prosthetics to help Stella convince people you are a robot
Musa: Stop giving them new ideas
Flora: While your "onion fumes" spell is incredibly creative and amazingly useful in combat scenarios, I ask that you only use it during outdoor sparring. Making everyone's eyes burn while your sparring is something we want to avoid
Musa: The Cloud Tower girls are thankful that Riven drew the attention of monsters to make their escape, they are not "hussies" attempting to "take" anything from you. Stop trying to fight them
Saladin being unable to say no to Helia is not grounds to abuse this fact to get your hands on random specialist weapons, you've already put yourselves in the infirmary multiple times. At least get someone to train you
Aisha: This is not a challenge
Flora: Covering your enemies in hornet-attracting pollen is not an acceptable tactic to deal with bullies, please just tell me about it next time
Stop daring Aisha to do random things to see if she's naturally good at it. She probably is
Aisha: Your honor is not lost just because you can't tie a cherry stem with your tongue. Stop adding random things to your training regiment
Amaryl throwing an attack at Stella, which she batted away without a second thought, is not an acceptable reason to make a morphix monster specifically programmed to chase her around the school. I was going to expel her for that stunt anyway
Not trusting new teachers is understandable, hazing them and dumping potions of revealing on them is not. I will let you give them potions in a controlled environment
The hallways are not a controlled environment
Bloom: A specialist telling you that you'd be "prettier if you smiled" is appropriate grounds for flipping him off, not breaking his nose
Aisha: You too
Tecna: You as well
Bloom: Saying "this is exactly what her ghost warned me of" about random things in the middle of a conversation is not acceptable behavior. You are scaring the freshmen
"As the prophecy foretold" is not much better
Just because Wizigiz says something is ok does not actually make it ok
Stella: Stop making up magical artifacts. I've gotten 16 different questions about completely made-up objects and it's obvious you're the one doing this
Tecna: At least pretend to pay attention in class. I know you already know most of these things but building a robot on your desk distracts the other students
Musa: Riven leaving you on "read" is not an acceptable reason to hijack the announcement system to play break-up songs, he probably just checked his phone in between training. Stop doing this. We have actual announcements to make
At least try to be subtle about the fact that you girls are under different rules than the rest of the school. The freshmen are starting to get ideas, and I don't want to deal with that many students in detention
Especially when sneaking your boyfriends in. Yes, I know. None of you are subtle
Tecna: Stop hacking into the royal students' phones and systems. You are going to start an intergalactic war. Airing out Royalty's dirty laundry is only acceptable if it's really bad, and at least warn me first so I can find a political advisor
Aisha: Stop training the pixie animals to attack people you don't like
Bloom: Tell someone when you're going to take a surprise vacation home, last time Stella woke up the entire wing of the dorms with her screaming because she thought you were kidnapped
If you're going to get payback for Griffin giving you the runaround when you were at Cloud Tower at least don't get caught. Griffin is somehow more annoying when she's smug
Musa: Stop trying to get the girls to start a band with you, Tecna is tone-deaf, I know you're just doing this to annoy people. Stop it
Tecna: Making a complication of Erendor and Samara making fools of themselves is funny, hacking the projector system to show it during an assembly is not. Just mass text it to everyone, I know you can, you didn't need to do that
If your going to skip class because of a magical emergency it better be a real emergency or I'm going to tell your teachers to start grading your missed assignments
Stella: A bad hair day is not an emergency
Aisha: Stop intentionally riling up Riven when he's at the doom, I don't care how funny you find annoying him is, just because we can fix property damage with magic doesn't make it acceptable
Stella: Stop biting people. Just stop. It's unsanitary
Do not have Riven, Sky, and Helia at your dorm at the same time. I've heard how those two can get when Helia is there to instigate and I'm not dealing with that. If I get a hint of those three being around at the same time I'm giving you all detention
On that note, if Riven and Sky are going to be in the dorms either keep them in different rooms or have Brandon there to mediate
Tecna and Musa: Stop using your powers to freak out the freshmen when you tell them stories of your battles
Stop using your power to freak out Stella in general
Stop trying to freak out Flora, it won't work
Flora: Just because you haven't blown anything up in the lab yet, doesn't mean your experiments are permitted
Musa: Please control your pixie. She's convinced half the students she has the authority to give them detention, and while she's not wrong about their punishments, she can't keep doing this
Bloom: Lording your newfound strength above your enemies is not an acceptable way to use magic. If you're going to mess with this "Mitzi" do it during the breaks
Please be aware of who is around when you ask Brandon questions about his life as a royal guard. Ophelia has had multiple girls show up because they overheard him talking about torture in graphic detail
Flora: Please warn me when you invite Miele over. Yes, only you and only Miele. I can't even begin to describe the amount of chaos that child can cause with her bugs
If you don't warn me I'm banning all of your siblings from visiting
Bloom: Please stop avoiding the staff's questions about Kiko. He can perfectly comprehend language. Why can he comprehend language Bloom

I've been wanting to ask, are you a native English speaker? Because I read your posts and you have quite a few of spelling and grammar errors. Not enough where it's unreadable but it's something to take note of.
Tumblr media
Damn mate you could of just messaged me privately but so everyone is on the same page
I am sorry if this comes off rude or honestly really damn blunt.
People aren't always going to catch grammatical errors or spelling errors. I use google to double check my spelling for the most part but even sometimes I mess up
If it is still readable I do not really see to much of a reason to bring it up. I mean hell my roleplay partners don't even say boo to me about it?
If you have a issue with my writing then just unfollow me? I do my best ?
I also type really damn fast and tend to never really catch things along with the factor when I do catch things I use what autocorrect suggests and sometimes I don't double check
if it is intelligible then YEAH defiantly ask me what the hell I am saying but
If it isn't causing issues and the point is still coming across then it's not to big of a deal.
I Just A) Suck at spelling B) I do my best C) Type way to fast that my brain cannot actually catch up a lot of the time D) Use Google to spell if I notice a error E) SHOCKINGLY am a NATIVE English speaker but ya know mentally ill in a lot of ways I do not talk about. F) I spell things out G) I do try to re-write things if they do not make sense but to me H) I work a lot so I am also really tired a lot of the time when I am doing replies or writing + Also mental health man
People can just up right SUCK at spelling and I am far from perfect. that's why I don't have rules saying that you gotta spell pitch perfect because I am FAR from that
there is a MULTITUDE of reasons someone isn't pitch perfect with spelling.
Some people can grow up with the "spell it how it sounds " way .
there is learning disabilities that people do NOT admit to
there is the trick of the brain where it sounds like that is how something is spelt etc
EVEN NATIVE English speakers are not perfect.

Fair warning, this may be a heavy topic... but do you have any advice or suggested readings for individuals/couples with a history of sexual trauma? Sadly I have experienced past sexual abuse and assault involving both extremely painful penetration and disordered degrading practices. I've been open about this with my boyfriend (who has been nothing but an amazing non-judgmental and comforting listener) and we've discussed that we have both wondered about whether we may need to approach things in a special way once we are married. By the grace of God I'm grateful that my everyday mental health is actually exceptionally good for the severity of my past trauma, but we wonder if entering in a sexual context would dig up old, highly negative feelings. I guess for me it also doesn't feel like something I'd be able to just sort of naturally figure out... I don't want like a graphic gratuitous description but I wish I had a more specific concept of how it "starts happening" because my experience was so abnormal and I have no idea how couples ease into things slowly and safely, and not having any clue is sort of scary. This is a topic that's usually too personal and dark to broadly ask about, but I'd appreciate any guidance beyond general "be loving and patient" advice that applies to everyone... Thanks for reading <3
First off, I am so sorry that you experienced such a nightmare. I would hesitate to even call it sex, and mentally separating the two might help you. It is so wonderful that you're in a supportive place to work through it.
I do not have experience helping others with past sexual trauma, so my advice may not be well-curated to your situation. However, I can give some more broad advice about easing into it (and this doubles for anyone who's anxious about marital sex).
After you've made vows, it's okay to take it slow and wait until you're comfortable to try sex. That might be days, it might be months. It's more common than you'd think.
Sex is incredibly vulnerable. Easing into it is merely taking small steps of vulnerability at a time. Cuddling in pajamas, undressing/dressing where your spouse can see, taking a shower together. Just getting used to seeing each other naked. Then move on to gentle but intimate touches, such as kisses on the neck or thighs. The important thing is to communicate honestly and constantly; tell your spouse immediately if something makes you uncomfortable, if it hurts, or if it feels nice. Ask your spouse to consistently check in with you, too.
In regards to penetration, it honestly depends a lot on how tight the woman is and how large the penis is, but it does tend to hurt a bit at first. This could be triggering for you. A lot of the discomfort is friction. Use lube, trust me (we just use coconut oil). Personally, even 2.5years into marriage, I'm still too tight usually, and we have a practice where my husband very slowly eases into me like 1/2in at a time - then he pauses, lets my body adjust to it, and waits for me to give a go-ahead to continue. There's absolutely no shame if you husband needs to do something similar to make you feel safe and comfortable. And there's no shame if you have to call it quits and try again.
As for how it "starts happening"... Imma be frank, a lot of the times married couples just ask each other. Once you're practiced and established the art, you'll get moments where "one thing leads to another" or whatever, but (a) when you're starting out and don't know the rules/language it's easier to just verbally confirm, and (b) even practiced, it's still sometimes easier to just ask. E.g., "Do you want to make time for sex tonight?", "I'm in the mood, want to take this farther?", or "Let's try penetration now".
Again, the main thing is to communicate. Over-communicate. Tell your spouse ahead of time what your expectations are for having sex the first time (for you, very slow and with an emphasis on gentleness). It may take time before your negative associations with sex as degrading are replaced with positive ones that make you feel cherished. It may not be enjoyable at first while you're learning to overcome that but it should feel safe and comfortable.
I've recommended this before, but I honestly think reading the Song of Songs can be very healing for those struggling with negative associations with sex. It is a really beautiful depiction of how sexual intimacy should be experienced between spouses.
I hope this was helpful, feel free to follow up with any specific questions. God bless!

A lot of "how to help the GM as a player" advice seems to come down to some amalgam of "take story hooks & don't be selfish when making a character," which is sort of more some basic gaming etiquette than actually taking on a helpful role.
I have been properly GMing my main group for six years now (though I've often assumed a similar role since my childhood, just without a proper ruleset) and am a player at another table with a campaign going on three years now. Knowing what issues I encountered when I GMed, I decided after a bit to take a more active role in the group and hopefully ease some of the inherent stress of running the game.
With that in mind, here are some things I do for my group as a player that are a general help for our GM & the table in general:
Take good notes & share them. I understand different people have different matters of notes & attention, but notetaking is just a basic skill you can bring to a table to the benefit of yourself, your fellow players, and the GM. The more notetakers at the table, the less likely information will fall down the cracks. I'm one of two notetakers in my second group, and between our two different styles it's typically easy to double check an event from real years prior in the campaign. The first ~15 sessions before we started taking proper notes? Lost to time, fuzzy memory, and context-free notebook lines in the single digits per session.
State your Plans. This applies to a lot of things, but basically boils down to "communicate with your GM." Give your GM a heads up if you have a course of action in mind for your next session (like wanting to visit a specific shop to get some new gear, wanting to investigate a haunted house, chasing down a specific lead in a mystery, etc).
Wrangle Your Fellow Players. GMing can be exhausting needing to run the game, manage the social group, and throwing time at prep that can get chucked down the drain. Again, each group & their needs & styles will be different, but you can ease some of this just by being a bit mindful. If scheduling's a problem, take the initiative on sorting out prime session time with everyone. Engage your fellow players openly on their plans heading into future sessions (and remember to State your Plans for the GM so they can focus their time where it will be of the most use). If your group can get a bit rowdy and/or the GM has trouble getting everyone's attention, give them a hand in returning the group to the game.
Provide Information as Necessary. This will entirely differ depending on group and game, but sometimes the GM might need help tracking a bit of information or looking up a rule (or, if you have good notes, looking up an NPC name or similar past encounter the group has had). GMing can be hectic what with managing the entire game beyond the party in many systems. You can respectfully bring up a forgotten mechanic or the text of a rule (especially if the GM asks for it). Importantly, strive to act as an impartial reminder of information and rules if you aim to perform this facet; you are arguing not to better your case, but to ease some load from the GM. A corollary to this that shouldn't need to be said, but sometimes does: strive to understand the game & how you interact with it. For D&D likes, this means "know your abilities & their functions; read your spells." If something's vague or unclear, ask your GM before or outside of game how they understand it (not that they're necessarily correct, but that you'll be on the same page).
Perhaps most importantly though: take an opportunity to GM if you can. A prime opportunity is if a portion of the group will miss a week or the GM is a bit burned out (or can't run due to not having prep time for a period of time), you can volunteer to run a one-shot or short side campaign until everything's settled. GMing may seem spooky at times, but it can easily be a ton of fun once you get into the vibe of it. Even if you don't enjoy it, taking some time to GM for yourself can give you excellent insights on how to be a better player from the other side of the screen.

The Bad Decisions Prompt List
Tumblr media
Please check the updated character list on my pinned post to see who I am writing for before submitting a prompt!
Also read the rules and do not forget to put the entire prompt into your ask!
I could burn your stuff out in the yard, Slash your tires and key your car
In the back of my Chevy Fogged glass, hot and heavy We committed some deadly sins
I'm just gonna get Messed up in the sheets with a stranger
I watched her walk down A white church aisle wearing white
Well, the sun comes up as I say, good morning, darlin'
When you lose that dress, I lose my head And I'll never find it laying in your bed
Only way to fall out of love is to hate you
I smell his cologne on your shirt, it's hard to breathe in
Crying forever tears for another man
Yeah, it's lookin' like Double shots of whiskey on the rocks
How can she smile when my heart is all shattered I wanna stand up at the altar and scream
Like the story behind that scar
Got a good girl sayin' I'm the only one she wants
Made a promise to me front of God then she left Now she's swearin' the same vows to him
I said, "Ooh, I'm drownin' in the night Oh, when I'm like this, you're the one I trust"
And justify that night you had in his bed
Yeah, I'd do anything with anybody but you
Does he know that her snow colored gown is a lie
You've knocked me down a few times you're tough But I'm getting better at getting back up
blow all my money on a wedding ring
Girl, where you been at? Don't try to lie
You can turn me on with just a touch, baby
Guess I'm the old love And he's the new
It’s who you are inside and what you do For everyone else not just you
So put your high heels on and diamonds around your neck
And you whisper sweet nothings in my ear
Take her hand slow it down
This ain't the first time I've danced with the devil
He'll smell like smoke, taste like beer Tell me all the things a girl wants to hear
I wanna start a family & watch those kids sprout like a tree.
I've been tryna call I've been on my own for long enough Maybe you can show me how to love,
Cussin' the fire outta me
You can try to break me any way you can
You're a fuckin' bitch, hope you know that shit
We both know there'll be consequences But, girl, we're good at making bad-bad decisions
Might not always be in between the straight and narrow
It’s the little things in life that mean the most
This ain’t my last rodeo
I heard a slammin' door This time it damn sure ain't the breeze
I may be bruised but I ain’t broke
The reason why I know what hurts the worst Is only 'cause I learned it from you first
So how can she Be happy ever after me
Look her in the eye when she says I do Hold onto that moment cause you know that you
How many others are you sleepin' with?
You call me up, you're already drunk I tell you off and then hop in the truck
2 a.m. at a Broadway bar She's puttin' her number in my phone

CLASH! Devlog, September 4, 2024 - Mastery Rework and NPCs
Sorry for the long absence, everyone - I'm back on the horse and I have developments.
Stats are called Stances!
I just want to get this one out of the way - I've been looking for a bespoke term for this since I drafted the original prototype, and I finally landed on language I like.
Mastery Rework
I've been having trouble with the Powerhouse's Playbook progression mechanic - I have a very clear idea of the narrative moment I want to emulate, but nothing I've thought of has really jived with the universal Mastery Mechanic. Eventually, I realized it was because there was a problem with Mastery itself.
(If you don't remember how Mastery works, you can read about it here.)
So to clean it up, I've altered how Mastery works, just a little. It used to be that you gain a point of Mastery whenever you used a Tech that you're currently learning (previously called Unmastered, now called Imperfect). That Mastery would then automatically be invested into the used Tech, until you finished learning it.
Not so any more. instead, Mastery now functions more like XP in other games. It's earned in a number of circumstances - activating Imperfect Techs and activating Relationship Techs, among others. From there, you have some choices about where you spend your Mastery. You can invest it into learning new Techs, but you can also spend it to improve your Stances, or even give it away to give an ally some extra Potential.
From here, I was able to actually implement the Powerhouse's Progression mechanic! But I won't get into that here - you'll have to read it for yourself.
NPCs
Does anyone else get scared of writing GM-facing rules? It's not a rational fear; it just feels overwhelming every time I have to write them out for a new game. Especially so in this case.
A particularly daunting hurdle in the case of CLASH! has been NPCs. This is a game about combat against interesting, developed characters, which means that I somehow need to make playing multiple complex NPCs manageable for the GM. It's been eating at me for months.
The solution came in three parts: Traits, Types, and Tiers.
Among the three, the only term that carries any mechanical weight are Traits - but All three are useful pieces of language.
Traits are simple tags attached to some NPCs which describe their motivations and behavior. They aren't Techs; they don't describe a character's powers or weaknesses. Instead, they're about a character's priorities, both in and out of combat. For example:
Tumblr media
Or, something more specific to combat:
Tumblr media
These serve several purposes. First and most significant is that they make managing a potentially large cast of antagonists easier on the GM. Every important NPC has a list of personality traits that inform their actions, and those traits are written down, so if you ever forget that one bad guy's whole deal, you can just double check.
It also means that running combat is simpler. The GM doesn't need to worry about a characters actions being consistent - they essentially have a very simple AI to follow - a set of procedures that generate consistent behavior and tactics for their baddies. Hopefully.
I also anticipate that this will add an additional layer for the players, who I hope will have a lot of fun deducing the priorities and strategies of their opponents, and finding interesting ways to take advantage of that knowledge.
Types are a soft distinction between two styles of NPC. It doesn't make sense for every rando the Fighters encounter to have fully fledged Stances and Techs to use - that's simply too much work to put on the GM. So instead, the majority of NPCs are what I'm calling Noncombatants - their more complex counterparts of course being Combatants.
Combatants are the ones with Stances, Techs, and Traits. They're any NPC you expect might be getting in a fight with the PCs, and any Noncombatant can be hooked up with some of the above if the need arises. But Noncombatants just have a name, some pronouns, and a listed motivation. If you want, you can even use a Trait or two for this - but you don't have to.
Finally, Tiers are essentially a way to make constructing Combatants easier. The tiers are Goon, Lieutenant, and Boss. With one or two minor rules exceptions (Goons will flee when they lose a Contest), these are all identical - it's just that each tier has better stats and more personality than the ones below them. Lieutenants are more colorful and interesting than Goons, etc.
This manifests really simply - higher Stances, more Techs, and more Traits. It's just an easy way to create a hierarchy of villains that ranges from your average nondescript Soul Reapers, to your Captain Alvidas, to your Orochimarus.
I've got another Devlog coming this week! It's smaller than this one, but I figured I'd keep engagement high and split the updates up just a little to keep people reading.
If this is your first time hearing about CLASH!, you can check out the open beta play materials Here! And keep that link open - I'm working on an updated booklet with more cool stuff.

just curious who’s running this project! sounds like a cool idea and if i share it wanna know who to properly credit the idea to
Tumblr media
The main person behind the account (and the one who's been answering all questions so far) is myself, Mimca! Hi!
About my modding experience, my first "big" experience as a moderator was for the French forum Nuzlocke France, dedicated to the Pokémon Nuzlocke Challenge, since 2014. From 2015 to 2021, every odd year I've been organizing an event called a Communitylocke. Basically, my job was to create a balanced, fair and easy-to-approach set of rules for participants, answer the participants' questions, and match-up participants when necessary. I've also helped create various timed events on several Pokémon roleplay forums, notably creating the scenarios and collaborating with the mod team in place to fit said scenarios into their setting. I've participated in my first zine as a writer in 2020, and became a Social Media Mod for one in 2021 (if you're interested, you can read all about my previous experience on my Carrd). After a few years, I wanted to go back to "my roots" and organize a more casual event, one that everyone could join — and it just so happened that Level-5 announced a certain New World of Steam, so, here I am! (This all sounded awfully corporate, but TL;DR: I've been modding fan events before, and I'll do my best to lead this new event to completion!)
As a Professor Layton fan, I've been a fan of the good British gentleman since the original release of Curious Village in Europe! I instantly fell in love with the characters and the setting of St Mystere. I've immediately preordered Diabolical Box (got the little Luke phone strap that came with it, he's been protecting my keys with vicious puzzles ever since!) and preordered every new Layton game since. My favorite game is Last Specter, and I'm a proud Mystery Journey defender. Ernest Greeves's got my heart.
Of course, I don't intend to lead this Big Bang all on my own, which is why the Interest Check will also double as Mod Applications! If we have enough interest (and I've got no doubt, with all the positive feedback we've got so far!), then I'll need some help to make the Big Bang a reality for all Layton fans out there! 🤎

i wanna draw the guy in dresses… so i did :0 LOOK!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this one is flower & thorns, fluffy and soft but it also has these sharp points everywhere for the contrast! this one is very lore related.
i have a feeling i might drag him around as a mannequin to put funny things on just because… ✨ i can :D ✨
Tumblr media Tumblr media
i find this one particularly funny because i've been having visions of this connection between Down Timer and hhhhhhhhhhh
like the lyrics… again. THE LYRICS. check the lyrics on this one /serious this makes me xpode
under read more because it's long
youtube
To the depths of the bottom maze, in an eternal loop of incorrect answers… (me lookin HUMINA because this reminds me of the floors + how many times you perish in game) I can't go back at all… I can't go back at all… Struggling and crying in the Endless Darkness is the lowest point. (the present moment with all your losses is where you'll be and you can't change it, and everyone has escaped into the light… except for YOU.) Ignite that life to ashes! (time to burn bridges and start the mass genocide in the kingdom of the sunlight) Blurring the lines between good and evil, driving my "life" further into madness. (i never shared this with you guys but i headcanon bk to have both holy and unholy aspects… holy because the bishop says his reign is holy despite his actual ruling and unholy because certain cards in black's arsenal are tie ins to underworld powers.) (this particular verse gets even MORE funnier when i tell you that in the backstory i made up in my head bk did actually die, and then got revived by bb… but how the situation went is complicated. all you need to know is… that's where a lot of bk's good and bad dichotomy came from) The emotions keep swirling, so laugh. Hey, go on and laugh. (mania, pride, ego, anger, frustration, resentment? go laugh it off and never show them your cracks and weaknesses!) This world covered in darkness cannot be saved. No way! No way! (possibly mentions of how everything else will no longer be the same, no longer will those people would just come back willy nilly, and how the world is literally plunged into darkness when bk takes mantle as the god of shotguns and erasing any knowledge.) Rise from the the brink of death, your consequences will be settled. (I'll do good.) Find the meaning of life by fulfilling the desires… (I'll do good.) …to brandish my Grudges and the Bottomless Abyss. (if you want a summary of the backstory i never shared, here it is!) (escape die, plan revenege, double down indulgence, and weaponize revenge and despair) :)
not only that the colors make me wanna scream but i think i straight up ripped some of the elements of this video back when i saw it release for the first time
hell yeah i'm adding this to the plotline chart that i don't have jkfjaopiehiosnfnejwhoipjsfoejsaiowjfioeawjoiefhowiahjfo

hi! ok I just wanted to ask someone who knows how tumblr works haha
so I found someone who writes amazing content so I decided to follow them. I binged lots of their fics earlier today and when I checked their profile again later, their profile doesn’t show. It seems they might have blocked me and I don’t know why :( I commented that I loved their fics and the comments are removed. my profile has my age and I am decently active on reposting & commenting on fics. This happened to me one other time too so I just am confused I guess :( I tried to message them but it said it wouldn’t go through so that makes me think I’m blocked? I guess I don’t know why a couple people blocked me? Just kinda made me sad bc I really enjoy their work but now I won’t be able to see anymore ☹️😢
happy to!! 💛
first thing you gotta remember that in all likelihood, your getting blocked is nothing personal. reasons for blocking someone on tumblr include but aren't limited to:
you don't have your age (range) listed in your bio/clearly visible on your blog
the age you have listed doesn't adhere to boundaries a blog has set (f.e. you're a minor, or it only says "18+" which i know many writers don't accept)
your blog is completely empty i.e. you don't post/reblog stuff
you don't reblog other people's writing
you spam like posts
you've never changed the default icon/header to something else
people don't vibe with the things you reblog
your theme is a colour they don't like
a lot of the time, it comes down to everyone's preferences. god knows i've been blocked by people and didn't understand why, but frankly it's none of my business. most likely, you won't ever find out, either. everyone is creating their own online space, and sometimes that means having a quick blocking finger. i'm sorry that you won't be able to read those stories anymore but you have to accept creators' boundaries.
however, there are some things you can do and try to prevent getting blocked in the future. these are only a couple of suggestions around tumblr etiquette i've picked up on over the years; if anyone else wants to chip in here, please do!!
1. make sure your blog is, by all appearances, that of a human being
this might sound stupid because of course, you are a human, but with the recent bot wars it's all the more important to double check for red flags.
check your url. does it include a random string of numbers, lots of dashes, just a name and an adjective? all of these have been indicative of porn bots and people might block you on sight.
change your icon and your header. yes, both of them. there are lots of creators on here who make wonderful fandom related headers and icons, or you can create your own with canva. just be sure to follow creators' rules and preferably reblog their creation
change your blog title. if your account is new, it will just say "untitled", which is another indication you might not be a human. use quotes, song lyrics, anything you enjoy
add a bio. this is where you put your name or nickname (you can make one up) age, age range, links to second blogs (if applicable), more quotes, whatever. i prefer my bio short and to the point, but that doesn't have to be you.
important: do this for all blogs and side blogs you use regularly. if you have a second blog for reblogging fics, you need to put up your age there as well, or at least visibly link to your main blog so creators can see you're not a minor. the harder it is to verify that you're an adult, the more likely it is that you will get blocked
2. know the different kinds of interactions on tumblr and navigate them well
there's a difference between liking, commenting, reblogging, and reposting, and it's important. lots of people use reblogging and reposting interchangeably, but that's actually incorrect and can lead to serious mishaps. let's dissect them one by one.
liking.
you're familiar with the like from other social media platforms. you tap a post twice or hit the little heart at the bottom of the post and it's added to your likes. wonderful, right? well. tumblr is a little different.
tumblr doesn't have an algorithm. let me say that again. there is no algorithm on tumblr. i guess there is, on the for you page, but that doesn't count because it's really shit. the only important thing on tumblr is your dashboard, and your dashboard only shows original posts and the reblogs of those posts from people you follow.
no one cares about your likes. your likes don't do shit. that's why creatives on here keep talking about reblogs. you need to reblog things on tumblr in order for them to get seen. it's a snowballing effect. likes are nice and all, but they're private. they're not contributing to a story or an artwork being seen by more people. they're essentially empty interaction. what's more, should a post get deleted for whatever reason, that post is gone for you forever.
i know some people use their likes as bookmarks for things they want to look at later, but i would strongly urge you not to do that. people block serial likers, because most of the time it is, sadly, very unlikely that they will come back and actually interact with the post again. that's just the way it is. we can thank tiktok and instagram for that. again, tumblr doesn't have an algorithm. if you want to genuinely support and encourage people on here, you need to do more than liking.
commenting.
this is a step up from liking, because you're actually interacting now. a comment will show up in the activity of the person whose post you left it on and of the original poster (op)—more on that distinction in a minute. comments are encouraged especially on ask/answer type posts, or as a reply to an earlier reblog.
when it comes to fanfic, there are, again, pros and cons. you can only leave a comment from your main blog, which means that even if you have a second account where you reblog fics, there's not necessarily a link between the two. this can lead to your getting blocked if you've never reblogged a fic to your main blog. on the other hand, if people comment on your fic without reblogging it, but they do reblog other people's fics, that can also rub creators the wrong way because it creates a strange sort of hierarchy: why those fics? why not mine?
important thing to note: i am not saying that to make anyone feel bad about "just" commenting, i just want you to be aware that this might go on in a creator's head. it has in mine. i'm very aware that this is a me problem, but it's also a reason why people might get blocked out of the blue, which is why i wanted to bring it up.
reblogging.
ah yes, reblogging. reblogging is the thing that makes tumblr tumblr, and it's so easy to do. you just hit the little 🔁 symbol at the bottom of the post, and boom, it's reblogged to your own blog. everyone who follows you can now see it on their dashboard, and if they reblog it, their followers can see it, and so on and so forth. every time someone reblogs a post from you, you will get a notification in your activity, and so will the op.
reblogs are the heart and soul of tumblr. yes, original posts are (usually) individual creations, but the community aspect of this site is born through the reblog. there are different variations on how to reblog. all are valid, because all help spreading posts around.
the empty reblog is the quickest option. there's literally a quick reblog option on mobile: if you hold your finger on the reblog button for a second or so, you will see your icon appear. if you swipe in that direction, the post gets immediately reblogged to your blog. something similar can be done on desktop with the xkit browser extension. it's fast, it's easy, it gets the job done. it's perfect for when you like a post but don't have anything specific to say/reply.
the reblog with tags is the second fastest option. tags, on tumblr, are sort of the sotto voce version of comments. yes, you can use tagging to organise your blog and make your posts easily findable (is that a word?) but the real fun begins when little asides are added. you can keysmash in the tags. you can put your thoughts in the tags. you can go full caps without it looking overwhelming in the actual post. if you're just starting to comment on things, the tags are a great place to start, because the actual post will keep looking the same; the tags are just a little additional bonus for both you and the creator. this is what you would use for the majority of posts that aren't works of art in any way, too, like text posts you want to find again, polls, photographs etc.
the reblog with additions though? oh boy. that's the real stuff. imagine it as clipping on your thoughts to the post, right there for everyone to see. you can add gifs, and memes, and change the font, and change the colour, and scream, and keysmash, and ramble without limitations. it's like catnip for the op. if you reblog a fic, a moodboard, a piece of art, a gifset, whatever it is, and you put your thoughts underneath? man, it's amazing.
side note: if you're new to commenting on people's fics and you don't know what to say, i highly recommend referring to this post. (btw i linked my reblog so it can act as an example of the different forms of adding to a post: there were other reblogs before mine, and i've added tags. useful in its content and as an example!!)
reposting.
this is where we need to be careful. reblogs are great. reposts are theft. where's the difference? reposting refers to you copying another creator's work, whatever it may be, and creating a new post without any indication to the original person's efforts. even if you do include their url, you will most likely get reported and blocked. because now, you've become the op of this copied post, and the actual creator will get absolutely nothing.
you will most likely have seen banners in fic communities that state something along the lines of "don't copy or translate any of my work to this or any other site". that's what this refers to. this would also include the following:
posting another writer's story to ao3/wattpad/another fic site of your choice without their permission. you can absolutely never do this. "but what if"—NO. never. fullstop.
some creators allow translations of their work, but you can only ever share those with their explicit permission and proper credit.
saving a gif to use without linking back to the artist. this is maybe my biggest gripe. yes, i know this site sucks at making gifs searchable, but still, you can't do this. and no, "credit goes to the original artist" doesn't count, where did that bullshit even come from? it makes me so mad. that's not giving credit, that's being lazy.
3. be nice, and have fun
this is fandom, and it's supposed to be a hobby. this is supposed to be a good time. none of us are getting paid for any of this. yes, we're all passionate about what we do, whether we're looking at other people's creations or we make them ourselves. we're fans of that common thing, and isn't that great?
just a little more internet etiquette that's not really tumblr specific but could be a good reminder for everyone:
not everything is for you, and that's okay
if something's not for you, scroll away
if you don't like what someone is posting, ignore them. mute them. block them.
do not ever, and i mean ever, send anyone hate. you don't know who's on the other side of the screen. block them and move on. life's too fucking short.
don't correct people's grammar/spelling. only assholes do that. if you can't help yourself and they're a person you've interacted with before, shoot them a private message and be nice about it.
don't offer unsolicited advice. i don't care if you want to give constructive criticism to help the other person. unless they've explicitly asked you to do that, don't. you'll get blocked so quick, and you'll ruin someone's day.
if you're reading a fic that's not finished yet, don't ask for an update. yes, you're excited for the story to continue. but "part 2", "when's the next chapter out", "more please" and so on are all things that put pressure on creators whether that's your intention or not. it gives us the impression that what we've already put out is never enough. and that sucks. by all means, be excited about what comes next, but not like this.
read!! old!! fics!!!! the beauty of tumblr being the way it is is that there's zero shame in interacting with older posts. it's not like you're liking a seven year old post on instagram. in fact, if you're commenting on a seven year old fic/gifset/moodboard/artwork on tumblr, i can guarantee you're gonna make that creator's day.
i'm absolutely positive that i've forgotten something in this post even though it's longer than several of my wips, so if any of my moots want to add something that'd be great!! in fact i'm gonna tag some of you because you know what? if you've read all of this you deserve a kiss. have a wonderful day 💛

"I think polyphobia is real funny and cute and that being called out for and made fun of for bigoted polyphobic behavior on one of the queerest websites out there is cyber bullying and I say ic =/= ooc but I keep making ic posts abt ooc events and opinions leading to any other possible shit ic views seem A Lil Sussy but it's nothing I prommy <3"
This is not a call out, this is a criticism. I don't care enough to make a call out, and a call out requires receipts. I do have a few, but not a lot, because the original post was deleted (this is the link I was given to it, by the time I looked, it was gone. Idk if a link to a deleted post does anyone any good). I also do not care enough to go into detail about the original post, because unlike them, I don't like to make inflammatory claims without backing them up with reliable sources that aren't known bigots.
I do care enough to send you a few paragraphs of unfriendly reminders that your claims require sources to back them up, but you referred to that as harassment despite it being one singular ask albeit, admittedly, passive aggressively worded. I would not specify who this is about, but I have a rule against vagueing, and I see a lot of people bringing up this subject without actual clarifying what this is about, which is unhelpful and misinforming. The drama is about charlotte-liddel, and anyone reading this can check their blog to form their own opinions.
Here's mine: you suck, and if everyone says you suck, maybe you should consider that maybe, just maybe, the popular opinion is right. Also, you seem to think one specific person is behind this "harassment", but I can confidently say that no one told me to harass you, I saw the shit you posted and was rightfully disgusted, and others I've spoken to are doing the same. So if one person is behind this, it's you. You could have chosen to simply say you don't want to write polyamory, and that would have been fine. Instead, you made a big stink.
I don't want this to become actual harassment, guys, it's clear they're only going to double down on their behavior, which helps no one. Look, form your own opinion, block or don't, don't spam them with asks- they're not responding to actual attempts to get sources on their claims, and aimless hate is pointless. I just want everyone to know who, specifically, this circle of the rpc is vagueing about.

i saw your post about not rebloging from people who are proship and if im being honest, that mentality terrifies me as someone who just learned this word. what if there is a new word that circulates in places im not familiar in and i get blacklisted for just rebloging something specific without seeing the entire blog? i really try to stay on top of all this lingo but it gets tough. also is bdsm proship? bdsm is not a cover for abuse even if people try to use it as such, when done responsibly and in the right communities that value safety as a first rule they often are more aware of harm and the reduction and prevention of it then movements that wont allow the depiction of stories that help survivors identify their abuse. am i proship if i appreciate a artful depiction of an abuse in tv that helps me learn how to recover in a healthy way and find skills to help others not get hurt the ways i had to? am i proship for making jokes that might read as hurtful to an outsider who dosnt know my relationship to my friends/partner? im sorry i just want to understand the line here so i can understand the harm these people are actually doing.
i think youre just terrifying yourself, friend.
proshippers only have 3 terms they use, as far as i know; proship, comship [meaning complicated ship], and darkship [meaning dark topic ship].
you won't be blacklisted just because you reblogged a post created by a proshipper, especially if you dont follow the person who created the post and you didnt know they were a proshipper. stuff like that happens all the time, and not just with proshippers. lots of people unknowingly reblog from terfs, racists, nazis, zionists- hell even i've reblogged posts made by people who were like that. but if youre followers actually know who you are, then they'll know it was a mistake, and they'll likely warn you politely about it just to watch out for you.
BDSM is not proship. BDSM has to do with rough and physically tasking acts in sex that are discussed and consented on extensively. lots of people into BDSM, such as subs and doms, will tell you that they regularly check on each other and have a system to let them know if they're okay or need a break or if something goes too far.
plus i myself am into some extreme things that i would never do in real life, let alone without someones consent. its either a 100% yes or there's no doing it all.
liking media with depictions of harmful topics that put it in an educational or meaningful light is also not proship. one of my favorite indie games is My Eyes Deceive, which i find to be a beautifully morbid game that touches well on the topic of abuse towards children and shows how horrific it can really be.
not proship for making jokes either. i'm friends with a chick who we both used to date the same guy who turned out to be a pedo. we often joke about how we were victims of grooming because really, we were.
checkin to see if a person is a proshipper isnt something scary or even that hard to do you'll find. i mean, if you'd make an effort to check if the youtuber youre watching is racist or if the twitter acc youre following is a nazi, then i dont see it as a lot of work to go to a persons blog and double check to make sure they arent a creep.
which btw, you'll know instantly if they are. everyone on this site is not afraid to say what they like or what theyre into. there is a good 90% chance that if the blog youre checking is proship safe, then they will proudly say it on their pinned post or carrd or whatever they use to put their info. its not too hard to spot.
buddy, you have nothing to worry about, and i promise you its not that hard to be a good person. you see someone who has shitty ideals? just block and move on. you didn't know the person you interacted with was shitty? delete it, block them, and move on. like avoiding a food you find gross in a buffet or taking out the trash. you'll be fine.

Ok this is in relation to the new rule on my main blog
If you're struggling with mental health issues or are sensitive to certain topics there will be trigger tags so double check if you feel safe enough to read, I tried to water it down as much as I could but still
I don't really want to talk about it but if I don't it's just going to fester in my mind and make me feel awful
I ended up blocking them for my own mental health, and sent them an apology as an ask explaining that it wasn't their fault that I did so
So this is obviously in relation to someone who reached out to me about a very sensitive topic...
I wasn't sure if they could answer it if I had them blocked, so I finally decided to check after a long time of self debating and...
Just here <- that's the apology
I don't want any hate after them they're clearly struggling with something and don't need more on their plate
I thought they would understand my apology but apparently I worded it poorly...
I'm happy to help people but not when it comes at the detriment of my own mental health and I was getting red flags all over when they were talking to me...
The conversation up to the point very much sent guilt tripping vibes, starting by saying something along the lines of "I think everyone hates me" and it just felt more nerve wracking the longer it went on
I don't know if they were aware of that but I couldn't handle it with what I've gone through growing up
They opened up way too easily to someone they didn't even know, maybe they're an inexperienced little kid or not but...
I don't have the full conversation because I kept deleting it in hopes it would stop but I have the message that made me finally decide to block them
Do Not say things like this to strangers. you have no clue what they've gone through and it could just end up hurting both parties
Tumblr media
See a professional if you have these problems
I am simply an online person trying to spread positive emotions and have fun with people I care about
Suicide is a very sensitive topic for me, but if you need someone at the time and we're friends YES GO AHEAD I will try my best to help steer you away from self harm and dangerous thoughts, but you also need to go talk to a professional
I cannot stress that enough SEE A PROFESSIONAL ABOUT THESE TOPICS EVEN AFTER YOU FEEL BETTER
AND FUCKING HELL DONT DO THIS TO STRANGERS
