I DONT KNOW IF I'M "QUEER" IN THE WAY THAT LIGHT EXPLAINED IT. IM HONESTLY NOT EVEN SURE WHY THERE'S A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PEOPLE WHO PREFER SOME THINGS AND PEOPLE WHO PREFER OTHERS.

EITHER WAY. THE "QUEER"EST I GET IS IN HOW I'VE BEEN TRYING TO OPEN MY EXPERIENCES RECENTLY.

We have a parade in Blackthorn. I've been a part of it for the last couple of years. Kids like getting to pet my dragons, and it's good for them to learn not to be scared of big pokémon from a young age.

Oh that's a hard one, growing up with two mothers wlw relationships were a very well known thing to me, they were both extremely supportive I can't really pick between them!!

uh... me. i kinda kept that whole journey... inside my own head. so... not much outside support on that front.

I've always considered my Pokémon friends to be my biggest supporters. Though, Sylvan is very high on that list as well. Sylvan and my Pokémon helped me in different ways, I would say.

Myself.

And Rollo, but she neither knows nor cares about human identities, so I do not know if that counts. I did not have many friends prior to coming to BBA, so there were not many people to support me. By the time I came out to my parents I was already quite sure of myself, and to their credit the only reason I held off on telling them was because I wanted to be sure, not because I thought they might not accept me.

I do have a lovely auntie who is also a lesbian. She helped me figure out how to tell my parents. I did not involve her until that point mind you, so I did have everything figured out by then. But I suppose her just being a positive role model was quite helpful for me.

💚 hmm! ya know, i've never really given this a whole lotta thought??? but like. i think my experiences with magnemite really helped solidify my gender for me, in a way!!! idk how to describe it, other than like...they don't need no gender to have a place in the world, and the power of friendship, that's what keeps 'em together in a way??? rather than like. the need to mate. idk!!! it's just nice

💛 my dad!!! @professor-amaryllis has always been like, super supportive of me for as long as we've known each other, and amy really did help me realize like--there is somethin' outside'a the girl/boy spectrum, and like...ya don't gotta pick one and choose, if it makes sense? ya can shop in all'a the different gender sections if you want!!! while i prefer neutral stuff mostly, it's nice to realize that ya don't gotta be a certain way--ya can just be yerself, and everything'll be right! 🥰🥰🥰

Thou may findeth this an odd response, but I owe quite a great deal to my dearest Juliet.

She hath been by my side since the very beginning, longer than most all of my other companions, and I felt secure confiding in her even if she was unable to respond in a way I could clearly understand. She showed her support in action, not spoken word, and it carried me through many times of despair and confusion.

Though of course, now I haveth my dear companions of Team Star as well! It helps greatly to have friends thou can be one's truest self around!

Well, when I came to proper terms with it, one a' the first people I told was my friend from childhood, Byron. Who was very supportive when I called an' told him bout it.

Definitely my bestie from Kalos, we both went through a lot of self exploration together and came out the other side very satisfied with what we learned!

💚- Is there any Pokémon you feel specially connected to when it comes to your sexuality/identity??

I always felt a sort of connection to cryogonal. Being aroace it's not uncommon to be called things like "cold" and "unfeeling". I do care about how I look and take care of my appearance but people seem to misinterpret that as looking for someone to take romantic interest in me. It sort of reminds me how cryogonals can learn and use the move attract despite it having no affect because it's genderless, and people tend to poke fun at it for trying. Attraction is really complicated for me, it's like wanting and not wanting at the same time. It's not EXACTLY like cryogonal but I think they're really awesome Pokemon and I feel connected to them nonetheless

🧡- How did you find out that you were LGBTQ+?

My understanding of romance as a young kid was pretty stunted because... you know. Zorua family. Followed by a few years of nothing but survival.

Once I got back on my feet, though, my parents had all these TV subscriptions. For some reason I fell for all of these stupid romance movies (I dunno, longing for human connection or something?), and turns out, I got really attached to the one with two rival Coordinator girls. Yeah. Lesbian. I think Wolfgang was laughing for a week when I realized "Wait, two women can just date?"

Gender-wise... eh, I've never really felt attached much. I've just become slowly more aware of the lack of attachment over time! As I like to put it, I have "gender of least resistance".

Probably just Wolfgang! He'll listen to me go on for hours about the most stupid of shit. Even if he'll laugh at me while doing so. But even if he's a jerk sometimes I can tell he just wants the best for me. And he knows when to drop the teasing, too. Heck, he's the one who made me stop isolating myself so much...

I never really... had a journey. It was just, one day I discovered Acearo was a thing and said "Yep, that's me." Didn't even have a coming out cause I was never in the closet.

Not really... the fox obsession is more of an Autism thing than an LGBT thing.
