the fact that the marauders fandom treats altyd, an explicitly au fanfiction, as “canon”, referring to it for characterisation + background characters like grant, who is at this point just a character and not an oc, inspires both joy and frustration to me daily
like on one hand that’s hilarious
on the other hand i dont like altyd
