So @patton-croc-agenda and I have a nutty habit of making AUs with @fangirltothefullest‘s fusions and I was suddenly overcome with the need to draw a few (or several) characters from one of our aus..the Seven Princes of Hell. It took. So. Long. But I am PROUD aight. It was originally nine, because like a dumbass I didn’t think we could have each one tied to one of the seven deadly sins- though not based off of them, because well..when you’re an immortal demon prince the sin is likely based off of you.
[Left to right] Anvity (he/him they/them) (fangirltothefullest/tashi’s character and design) Lust Remus (he/him) “Remy” Sloth Enrique (he/him) (from the My Life with a Narrator video) Gluttony Vincent (he/him they/them)(based off me) Wrath Jaqueline (she/her they/them) (based off jack) Envy Eleanor (she/her) (based off @impatentpending) Greed Romulus “Roman” Pride
(Couple character tidbits under the cut)
The Seven Princes of Hell are seven top-tier demons that have been around for as long as record goes back. They are many leagues above the other denizens of Hell (their subjects) in both influence and power level, but not all of the Princes are equal among themselves. Their residence is a sprawling castle in Hell’s highest mountain, which many of them rarely leave. They are also rarely summoned by humans, unless said human is very experienced in the art of demonic rituals.
Anvity is the youngest- and the weakest, though this is related not to his age but to his particular subset of demonic blood. He is a succubus, and apparently this makes him easy prey for his elder siblings when they are bored or simply in testy moods. I notice the Princes seem to often be in testy moods, but it seems Anvity is the most overdramatic of the bunch.
Remus- or Remy, as he prefers to be called, is the next up the line...he’s..not as involved with his siblings as he used to be. Certainly the most adult of the group, though he doesn’t often show it. He is the one who spends the most time outside of the Hell, and is the most well-versed in the changings of Earth, which has perhaps made him more mellow of a demon than he was in the first place. Though according to sources, when he does get involved with his family, he’s usually incredibly drunk and either “judging the rest” or “instigating the fun.”
Enrique is a fairly mysterious figure. I am told he keeps to himself, though it is not uncommon to find him monologuing to himself as he walks the halls or lounges in his room. He is however, a very good chef, this I know, and while he does not consider himself above everyone else, he is not the type for rampant chaos.
Jaqueline is the Princes’ middle sibling, and another more subdued figure. More prone to observation and writing than anything else, but she is also the only one of the Princes that Vincent (the third eldest) actually likes..this could be taken as a comfort or concern. I am told it is both. She can come off as a voice of reason, but I am told she is actually often a force of chaos in her own right, though this can come as a shock if you don’t have both eyes open.
Vincent is the most volatile and dangerous Prince. Tempermantal and prone to mood swings, he is the smallest of the Princes- but I implore you, do not take this as an indication of his strength. In physical power alone, he is the most powerful of his siblings, and the most chaotic among demons, which is saying something. Killing for sport is not in his repertoire, but torture is- and according to sources, about 60% of his vocabulary consists of profane language. The onl person besides Jaqueline he does not seem to hate is Eleanor, to which he is arguably a right-hand-man.
Eleanor is the second oldest- but she is the ringleader, despite what else you might be told. She knows the ins and outs of nearly every demon noble and hell, and is a master manipulater and puppetmaster- so much so that she runs Hell without her older brother even realizing it. Her psychological power is a force to behold, but her physical does not fall too far behind. It has been said she bathes in the tears of her victims, but this is not true. Mostly. I have been told she has a jar of tears she adds to any bathwater.
Romulus- or Roman, as he has called himself in recent centuries- is the closest thing to a King Hell has. He is the face of the Seven Princes and is the most likely to make public appearances, due to being a charming and extroverted individual. Many tales have been told of his adventures throughout the millenia, to the point even the other Princes aren’t sure what’s true. My source tells me the best approach here is to “not believe anything he says.” I do not agree with this statement, but it is advised to take his stories with several bags of salt.
