he whispered, but it sounded more like the cry of a puppy than a plea.

you've been reading for about 20 minutes with no end in sight, so your boyfriend's insistence is actually kind of a blessing.

"fine, fine ok. but only if we cuddle, though" you challenge, staring into his dark chocolate eyes, but you just wanted to let your fingers run down his curls.

"of course." he says, lips pulling into a soft smile.

your body turns on its side to face the nightstand. you put your book on the bed table, triple-check that the bookmark was there, then place the cover face down.

no more distractions.

you slide your arm under the pillow, the other bent in front of me. your knees pull up and forward, and your ankles and feet stack.

"ok, ready." you say, finally threading your fingers through his dark chocolate hair.

elio's slim body presses into yours, adjusting to your same position with his knees bent so there's not a single inch of you not touching.

he wraps his arm around your body, and you melt completely into his shirtless chest. his warm, shallow breaths tickle the back of your neck, making the baby hairs there dance in the breeze.

his skin smelled like saltiness and suncream.

you loved it.

you loved when he decides to not take a shower and actually let you enjoy his body smells.

you know it arouses both of you.

his calf slips between your legs, pulling one back to hold your ankle between his. chest on back, hips on hips, legs entwined with legs- it's your favorite way to fall asleep.
