I was also worried for this song and the fact Mr. Jorge just MADE Odysseus say "YOU PLANNED TO RAPE MY WIFE" with such anger was so just YES I just felt angry and glad Odysseus was there and IT WAS REALLY FREAKIN GOOD AND IM GLAD IT WASNT CENSORED

odysseus actually saying the word rape in the song freed me of all the discomfort hold them down made me feel

idk why but it's just so. sexual assault has always been something that should have clear boundaries - and instead, you see the people in power, people who should punish and uphold the law, shift around definitions and wordplay.

as if it isn't a disgusting violation of a person, of their life, of their trust.

metaphors are beautiful, they're my favourite figure of speech. but metaphors, skirting around the topic, when it comes to rape, is what, to me, truly makes that feeling of disgust and discomfort, and yes, even panic, rise.

because the truth is? i know there are people who can excuse and disregard "taking her love and more". not consider it rape. not consider it assault. there are, unfortunately, people who can disregard a metaphor this clear. justify it, even.

but most of those people can't justify the word rape.

I dont know if this makes sense. forgive me if it doesn't. but to me, the intense nausea that hold them down brought about was erased and hell, even comforted, by the rage and protectiveness and bluntness of that one line in odysseus.

Obi-wan is simultaneously the eldest child, middle child, and youngest child.

Eldest because he has HEAVY “eldest daughter syndrome”, has the highest expectations, is tasked with raising his own sibling, acts as his own master’s guardian at times.

Middle because between Xanatos and Anakin, he is left forgotten and unimportant. Treated with less care in comparison.

Youngest because he was the youngest until Anakin came along, his master had already raised 1.5 padawans, and seems to forget that Obi-wan is still a child too. Qui-gon would sometimes forget that he is not the same as the last two padawans.

You know what would be an interesting crossover?

B-127 getting sent to the G1 verse

His energy could either mesh well with the wackiness of G1 or it can clash violently with his crazy ass

- Bee would accidentally call G1 Optimus Orion

- Bee would show everyone his knife hands and immediately make most of the autobots wary of him

- Bee would awe and coo over G1 bumblebee cause of how small he is.

- Bee would need to be have it ingrained into his processor that he has to be super gentle with the humans or he won’t be allowed to interact with them.

- Bee would absolutely encourage all of Wheeljacks experiments

- Bee would somehow end up captured by the G1 Decepticon’s and then wreck havoc on their base by accident. “Hey I can just use my knife hands to dig through the walls of their base! …OH SHIT I FORGOT WE’RE UNDERWATER!”

- G1 Megatron would also hate B127 cause:

1) he won’t shut up!

2) keeps calling him D16

3) asks uncomfortable questions about his relationship with Optimus and if they were lovers like his Megatron and Optimus were (that last one makes blue screen for a whole day)
