did anyone else get really emotional when phil was talking about how they've become heaps more comfortable with themselves now and he feels like he wants to shake their past selves and tell them "it's okay, guys"? especially immediately followed by dan saying it's now been 15 years? because what underlies these statements - and the very scene of them sitting in this hotel room together on the other side of the world, dan with hobbit hair and phil gone blonde, in their stylish titfits and talking with such ease and happiness and assurance - is the fact that they became these people today *together*. those two shy boys in 360p cardigans are also the two guys in this 2024 video largely because of each other's love and support and loyalty throughout the 15 years that have elapsed. emo hours.

past dnp genuinely making current dnp laugh their fucking heads off is one of my favourite things in the entire universe. like YEAH - you ARE hilarious and entertaining and fun, and them getting to see these videos for the first time in over a decade lets them actually appreciate that fact almost like new viewers. it just means a lot to me that dnp like themselves, then and now ❤️

For something to be normalized, one needs to take action to make it normalized, and something doesn't have to be normalized for you to do it. I've been carrying around plushies with me for years (as well as toys & other trinkets). There's no law against being whimsical 🧸💙
I need carrying around a stuffed animal friend to be normalized

Does your Courier have strong opinions about the Dinky Plushies or the toy rockets?
She actually keeps one Dinky The T Rex souvenir throughout her journey. Since losing her memories, she now tries to collect as much memorabilia as she could.
She has fond memories with Dinky. 😊
The toy rockets might spill so they have to stay.

I know this isn't gonna help anyone on the Luigi Mangione's jury, but I feel like I see a lot of people throw around "Jury Nullification" without actually understanding the responsibility it entails.
Jury Nullification is NOT your explicit right. It is a legal gray area that rides on the back of your explicit rights. Specifically, a jury has the right to
Return any verdict it sees fit.
Not be punished for the verdict it selects.
Not have their verdict challenged or directed.
For these reasons, you (as a Juror) and the people (as a Jury) have the right to vote whichever way they see fit for whatever reason they may choose. That includes voting "Not Guilty" in a situation where the defendant has broken the law, but the circumstances or law, itself, require an alternative verdict.
However.
Just like you have the right to to return whatever verdict you choose, a judge has the right to remove you from the jury if they feel you are being deceptive about your impartiality. The point of a trial is to be as neutral and impartial as possible. After all, a trial with biases is not a "fair" trial. Jurors who have prior knowledge and opinions about a case and its circumstances must be removed from the case and relieved of their jury duty. Jurors who intent to disregard the letters of the law in favor of opinion, morality, whatever, must also be relieved of their jury duty and replaced. Therefore, if you approach your fellow jurors and tell them about Jury Nullification and your plans to utilize it, someone may very well tell on you to the judge. It is then that judge's obligation to remove you from the jury and replace you with a more impartial juror (one that may not know about Jury Nullification). Therefore, if you openly support Jury Nullification in a court room, you can (and will) be removed from it.
So, even if it means hanging the jury with a non-unanimous vote, you cannot inform others about your intentions, and you cannot encourage others to utilize Jury Nullification, too. It sucks, but it's reality. Court rooms are very disapproving of Jury Nullification to the point that they have (wrongly) charged individuals with Contempt of Court for telling jurors about it. Lawyers are even forbidden from telling juries they can use this right, in the first place. That's how disliked this ability is. So one more time:
If you intent on actually utilizing Jury Nullification, you have to be completely silent about it. Period. You cannot inform your fellow jurors about it, and you cannot inform anybody in the court room about your plans to utilize it. That is it. That is how things work, and you have to tread lightly and carefully.

Art can be incredibly frustrating to new artist, especially ones who have been looking at a lot of art before their artistic endeavors, because their hand cannot yet reach their eye. I remember for years feeling embarrassed and inadequate at this thing I was actively putting most of my energy towards, and it was maddening. There’s not a lot of short cuts besides hard work for most people, either. All this to say, your beginning work is incredibly valuable to keep around and having a mentality of “I like this part of my piece, I can see my growth here” alongside constructive criticism is what I’d recommend most.
Not only does harshly putting down your art work make your colleagues who are at a similar place to you feel negatively about their own work, it just isn’t going to make you a better artist unfortunately. Everyone has their moments, god knows I have, but nowadays when there’s something I feel I must point out about my artwork in the sense of improvement I try to do it like I’m critiquing someone else’s work - so to say, with empathy and recognition of how hard it was to even make that piece in the first place.
