Currently been manifesting a Spider Verse AU that uses the basic premise of Spy x Family where Gwen is in Loid's place as a spider person who works for the top secret Spider Society and has to adopt Mayday Parker (who also has Spider powers) so she can be enrolled in Brooklyn Visions to get that Stella, as well as set up a fake family with Miles Morales, who takes Yor's place in the story as The Prowler, an expert assassin.

But here's the funny thing: you'd think that since Miles is the prowler then that means he has 42's personality but like, he doesn't. He's still our Miles 1610. Still a silly billy. Not at all edgy or brooding like Canon Prowler but oh he'll come for you and strike you down all the same. Then he goes home to his fake wife and daughter and bakes cookies or smth. So he's just like how Yor is a eepy deepy goobie shnoobert who will also dice you up and mail you to the underground baron that hired you to shoot her in the left buttock. Only Miles can 100% cook for sure

oh and Bond is Lyla instead. I don't make these rules. Heck off, wizards.

AU: Spy x Family

Formerly known as Subject 005, Chuuya is the result of secret unethical experiments by the Ostanian government to create super soldiers to fight in the war (or send to the Garden to become elite assassins).

As such, Chuuya is abnormally strong, fast, agile and resistent, the so-called 'perfect' soldier and killing machine...

...if not for the fact that he's been smuggled out of the lab he was being experimented on as a child by a repentant scientist, who raised him as his own son until his death when Chuuya was only 15, tortured and killed for his 'betrayal' and refusal to hand Chuuya back.

Furious with grief, Chuuya started hunting down and killing any and all Ostanian scientists partaking in unethical experiments for the sake of the war against Westalis, taking down as many government-funded facilities and saving as many subjects as he could.

After years of doing so, he was recently apprehended by the Westalis intelligence, and while he was resigned to spend the rest of his life in a cell, he was offered to use his abilities (both his strength and social skills he'd developed during his 'mission') to help end the senseless conflict between Westalis and Ostania as a member of WISE, with the promise of a new identity to start fresh once peace is achieved.

As a WISE agent, he's known as Eclipse (a subtle reference to his moniker during his killing days, 'Blood Moon').

While he recognizes Chuuya as his actual name (being the one his parent used to call him), he will use either 'Frederic' or 'Raoul' when posing as a civilian during missions.

After much deliberation, most of which was just Loid strongly opposing, the idea of dressing up as spies was scrapped in favor for something more family oriented. Anya dances in her ruby slippers in the living room, dressed up as Dorothy, as Bond wears a furry mane in sport of the Cowardly Lion. Anya had picked out the Scarecrow for Harper, stating that it was because he had a affinity for birds. Which left Loid with the Tin Man. Discussions about what to dress up for Halloween had taken nearly an entire afternoon, with Harper playing mediator in the Loid vs. Anya & Jean-Louise debate while Bond and Scout 'interjected' with the occasional bark and coo, but in the end they'd decided on the costumes they'd be wearing for trick-or-treating.

Jean-Louise had been disappointed that there was no horse character in The Wonderful Wizard of Oz but her mood had brightened considerably when told that, being dressed as Dorothy's loyal canine companion Toto, she'd get to stay as close to Anya as possible. As unexpected as her uncle's marriage had been, Jean-Louise had warmed up to her new sister (cousin?) very quickly, and looked so cute holding Anya-as-Dorothy's hand in a fuzzy hooded suit. Scout sits perched on Harper's shoulder, fitting for his image as the Scarecrow; Anya had proposed painting the pigeon black to make it look like a crow, a proposal which was gently but firmly turned down.

"Stay put unless you want to inhale silver powder." Harper chides Loid softly, tongue between his teeth as he applies glittery powder makeup to Loid's face to make it look like it's made of metal, careful not to let any stick to his finger. In vain because Loid's kiss is sure to have left a shimmery trace on Harper's cheek. The ex-sniper stares at his spy 'husband' with wide eyes for a long moment, still unused to those unexpected gestures of affection, then chuckles softly, punk dusting his cheeks.

"Then I suppose me being the Scarecrow is quite fitting as well, given how brainless you can make me with a few words. And you look quite handsome as well~" The lawyer quips back, expression fond, and (screw the silvery powder that will take forever to remove) he leans in to return the gesture, ending up with even more powder on his face. If someone sees them and somehow puts two and two together, well, Loid and Harper Forger are happily married, and happily married husbands do exchange kisses.

"Father and Uncle are flirting~" Jean-Louise giggles, eyes sparkling and a grin more fitting of a cat, which makes said uncle blush and sputter, flustered.

"You've lost all rights to complain if I decide to embarrass you when you'll be grown up and bring home a boyfriend or a girlfriend." Harper mutters, but he's smiling as he hands both Anya and Jean-Louise a small pumpkin-shaped bucket "Now who's ready to go get some candies?~"

overview: in the middle of a cold war between the neighboring nations of westalis & ostania, twilight is a top agent working under W.I.S.E (westalian intelligence service - eastern division) striving to safeguard the fragile state of peace that grows more precarious everyday. a master of disguise, he is frequently sent undercover in the thick of ostanian territory, where many of his missions deal with thwarting extremist groups, infiltrating the inner circles of national unity party members (the political party that was deposed at the end of the first war), and extracting any information or plans that may bring on another war. for this reason, he's known as the man with a thousand faces, the ostanian government's most wanted agent, infamous for his achievements, while his true face, history, and identity remain an enigma.

VERSES.

canon: operation stryx is the current mission. his target is donovan desmond, the former prime minister and elusive leader of the national unity party who is in talks of planning something big and potentially detrimental to peace relations. twilight is posing as loid forger, a psychiatrist in the capital of ostania, berlint city, and has been tasked with building the perfect fake family in order to blend in with ostania's elite class and have his child enrolled in the same prestigious school as desmond's youngest son. due to a shortage of spies on the ground, he's also tasked with too many side quests, and can be found just about anywhere wearing any face. plots can take place within the series timeline, or prior with one of twilight's previous covers and operations.

mi6 / 007 / man from u.n.c.l.e. au: will usually be set in the 60s, but can also be used for modern day interactions and espionage universes. twilight is an agent for mi6 frequently tasked with undercover missions, primarily in europe, but throughout the continents as well. his job is to stop extremist activities before they become public, and gather or destroy intel as necessary to prevent another world war. much like his canon verse, no one outside his affiliated organizations and close assets know what he really looks like. ( he collaborates with u.n.c.l.e. but is still mi6; for james bond plots he's agent 004, still only known as twilight )

regency spy au: originally german, but orphaned in england, he works for england's war office as an undercover agent & asset during the napoleon wars. he's using several covers to keep an eye on the ton for traitorous plans, as well as the area of kent ( near aubrey hall ) where much of the supply and information smuggling happens. ( loosely based on julia quinn's spy duology )

dragon age: twilight was orphaned during the rebellion war between ferelden & orlais, and was trained to be a ferelden spy by william cousland. his first mission was to ensure empress celene's succession. he attended the university of orlais under the guise of a free marcher's heir and discreetly thwarted assassination attempts on the empress. with the peace treaty finally struck, twilight had been tasked with keeping an eye out for any breaches on either side, but primarily in orlais. he was stuck there the start of the blight, but despite the closed borders was able to find his way back in. he can be picked up as a companion in origins. by the events of da:i, leliana approaches him to join her and the inquisition as one of her top informants. his focus is then on tevinter, the ventori, and eventually the agents of fen'harel.

To think it was just him and Scout until a few months ago, and now here he was, celebrating Valentine's Day of all things. His heart feels so full Harper is sometime afraid it might burst out of his chest.

Before Loid can move away, Harper lifts his free hand to cup the spy's cheek, guiding that handsome face towards his own to press a coffee-flavored kiss to Loid's own. The giggles coming from the other side of the table tell him he wasn't quick enough to avoid being seen by the girls, but he just rolls his eyes and lets it go.

Where it anyone else beside Anya and Scout, he'd make the kiss even more evident, because he's petty and chaotic like that sometime.

"Finish eating you two, Valentine's isn't one of those holidays when there's no school." Harper chides the children gently, eliciting twin groans from both of them, but they hurry to finish their breakfast nonetheless.

He should stop by a bakery on his way home and get something nice for Loid as well. For the girls too, of course.
