yk whats my bone to pick w the red dead 2 fandom is?? the fact that some of yall will write "i can fix him!" arthur morgan/reader insert fics but turn around & hate on a woman who tried doing exactly that in canon (mary linton)... calling her manipulative & shit. like. yall got some internalized misogyny to unpack if you hate on a woman character for doing the exact same thing yall are doing w your insert fics.

also one more specific thing. this is going under a read more.

during harding's quest, when you help her deal with evil harding, she has this line of dialogue that basically blames everything on ELVES, not the evanuris themselves, and it goes something like: why should the elves thrive while the dwarves suffer? or something like that. but specifically the bit about the elves thriving sticks out like a thorn.

thrive???

did the new writers for dragon age forget about alienages? about the exalted marches??? about how the dalish are hated and chased around and people tell stories of how elves will kill them? did they forget WHO the primary slave population is made up of in tevinter? (which was not really acknowledged btw).

it shocked me. took me right out of the moment. especially too when a lot of the earlier elvhen inspo was taken from the salish people/ndn presences in canada. SHOCKED me that a character i enjoyed sm in inquisition as an elf inquisitor would just turn around & say something so misguided with such conviction & for not a single person on the new writing team to go, wait a minute? are we forgetting something?

i have discovered, to my horror, that tumblr doesn't consider apostrophes typed on my laptop to be the same character as those typed on my phone, so i now i have separate tags for various fandoms depending on the device i reblogged from and i am so grumpy about this

anyway i'm really sorry ncis hawai'i and secret bridesmaids' business but i will be changing all my tags so that none of them have apostrophes despite that being a stupid, terrible idea because i cannot emotionally handle the disorganization

Gli occhi di Anna

Hai mai visto un paio d’occhi come i suoi? Se mai me lo dovessero chiedere risponderei di NO! Non saprei definirli con un colore preciso ma ricordano molto il cielo in una giornata di sole che irradia le onde del mare dopo aver affrontato una burrasca. Senza prestarci attenzione non lo penseresti mai eppure quegli occhi, facevano rumore anche da sereni. Si dice siano lo specchio dell’anima… per me invece, quel treno che passa una volta sola e se non si è capaci di prenderlo li si perderanno per sempre. Dunque come osservare con cura quelli di una persona che si ha di fronte? Semplicemente usando il cuore, il difficile è metterlo in pratica. Si possono abbracciare? Fisicamente no metaforicamente sì! Ciò accade quando diventano lucidi ed in quel preciso istante avverrà il contatto. Occhi negli occhi che daranno vita ad emozioni forti.
