What are some tips you have for writing / developing characters long term? Esp comic characters bc of the levels of canon. You’ve just developed Natasha so BEAUTIFULLY tbh
Tumblr media
OF  LOVE  /  OF  DEATH.      hello my darling !!     this is so sweet omg,     you deserve the absolute  WORLD  ok !     so,    as i’m sure we all know,    comics are So Incredibly Inconsistent,     it’s actually hilarious.      & with natasha,     even more so.     personally,     i follow a timeline / canon that  …  i don’t think anyone else does.    at all.     this may be because of preference or ignorance,     but to each their own !!      which i think is at the root of developing a character long term,     especially comic characters.     NO MATTER HOW INCONSISTENT THE MATERIAL MAY SEEM,     THERE ARE ALWAYS A FEW THREADS OF CONSISTENCY THAT RUN THROUGH MOST OF IT.     your job as a writer & presenter is to find these consistencies.     read as much as you can.     read,    read,    read,    until you’ve read everything you can get your hands on   ——   but don’t let the stacks & stacks of comics intimidate you or prevent you from beginning your development !!    i’ve had natasha as a muse for 6 years,     & i only started reading her comics 3 years ago,     & i still haven’t read every single issue  ( i think i have about 50 or so of her appearances left,    which tbh isn’t much At All fjdskl )  she’s been in.     but just from everything i’ve already read & developed over the years,     i have a very firm grasp on what consistent traits of natasha i follow.
& the consistency doesn’t have to be  HUGE  or still considered canon to be valid.     FOR EXAMPLE,     my natasha did not join the red room until she was 28  ( 1956 ).     she was a Legitimate ballet dancer up to that point.     she is not one who buries her emotions,     she is not afraid to cry,     she is an extremely compassionate person,      though with a side of sociopathic / sadistic tendencies.      she is NOT concerned with the red in her ledger,     at all.      she has a deep love for the people of russia & her roots,    as well as an even deeper hatred for the  USSR.     i could really go on,     but my point is that all these things Have Been Canon At Some Point.     however,     current canon has retconned or disowned about half of these.     do i give a single shit ?     does that fact change my portrayal ?    no !!     everything i’ve created for my portrayal is based in canon & based in history & things that make  SENSE & are consistent,     & so i stress that what you do with your portrayal is all a  CHOICE.     i’m proud of this blog because of how much work i’ve put into it,     & i commend all other portrayals for the work they’ve put in,     even if i don’t agree.     but tbh ?     not even canon agrees with canon.     comic writers aren’t going to come bust down your door because you make a personal choice.     if anything,     we’re the ones who are going to get more offended over their stupid & nonsensical & masturbatory decisions,    because we’re the ones that spend the most time with these characters.
so yeah  …  READ.    TAKE NOTES.     DO YOUR RESEARCH.    CROSS - REFERENCE (seriously) !!!!!!   EXPERIMENT.    FIND YOUR MUSE’S VOICE.      & just have fun.
P.S.    having a pinterest dedicated to the character,     as well as an aesthetic sideblog is So Good for developing the general Mood of the character.     if you want examples,     you can find mine at /viduamor,    & @romanva ,   respectively.
GOOD LUCK,     I HOPE THIS HELPED !!!!

How Is On-Line Asian Courting In Usa Too Well-Liked These Times
Are you looking for a serious relation that will culminate into marriage? If your answer is in the affirmative and if you have been unlucky in love till now then you can go online and search for a potential bride. And who knows you may just meet your soul mate online. With mail order marriages becoming extremely popular many men are joining the mail order bride sites to interact with foreign women. And when it comes to the mail order marriage industry Russian brides are extremely popular. The reason behind this is that Russian women are very pretty and beautiful.
Young Russian and Ukrainian women look for a good husband who is careful, intelligent, solid. Most of asian MyUkrainianBrides really wish financial security, but it’s so difficult to leave the place where they were born. Russian single women are looking for not immigration to a high-developed western country. Every girl Ukrainian or Russian looks for a good man.
The first myth is that Russian brides only look for sugar daddies and not true love. This is the biggest myth that the western world has about Russian recommended reading order brides. There are a few Russian women who are gold diggers but they are exceptions. The only reason why a Russian woman looks for a perfect match through these services is that she has failed to find true love in her own country. The Russians girls are in the lookout for real love and not cash.
Ukraine is the largest country in the European continent – although in comparison to Russia it is tiny. It has a rich history as a Slavic nation and was a major power under Vladimir the Great in the 10th Century. Prior to this there is evidence that the Sarmatians settled within the borders of Ukraine well before the time of Christ. Communities from Ancient Greece and Rome also set up shop along the Ukraine Black Sea coast.
If they can find a man who will marry them, they will be able to get away from their oppression. They may even be able to get a great education and a job. They will be able to raise their children in a place where they will not be abused or oppressed. These are the main reasons women choose to become a part of mail order bride services. So, instead of looking down on these women for being a mail order bride, applaud them for doing whatever it takes to end their own personal oppression. After all it is a brave move that many of them would be punished for if found out.
It is sad that some of these women become Asian Mail Order Brides order brides that seek foreign men with the thought that they have found an answer to their financial hardships, and being able to just ask for money from their would-be husbands to send money for their family back home. Of course, the custom of Filipinos being a very close-knit family always comes into play but if searching for a foreign husband just for the money implies a wrong motive even to the most common man.
BEWARE, along with the home loving, loyal, sincere, honest women you will meet, you will also meet many scammers. Here is a hint how to avoid a scam from women you meet on the Internet or in person, if they ask for money… run! It seems the older guys wanting a 30+ yr. younger wife just can’t seem to say no, and bam, their money is gone and so is the girlfriend.
“Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” by The Who: Robert Louis Stevenson’s title character is described perfectly here in the song that was originally a B-side for the UK release of “Magic Bus.” The eerie repetition of “Mr. Hyde” as a backing vocal provides a certain apprehension within the listener.
Let’s assume you begin dating a pretty Russian girl online. How can you know the woman is compatible if you’ve got never met her? Simply judging by photo solely? It’s like walking up to an individual at a celebration and asking them to marry you. You see, it’s miles additional complicated. However you are not in a very hurry, are you? Please, be patient.
Finally, browse the web and you will discover a lot of “Blacklisted” websites. Here the victims of mail order brides scams have disclosed identities and particulars on the matriomonial scammers. Thus, it’s smarter to go for an online search before you truly begin off with mail order brides agencies.
