"Of course I'm here," Sigyn's response is quiet, but immediate. She clasps the Allmother's hands in her own, perhaps a fraction tighter than she means to. Though she has been the picture of dignified calm in public, now that they are alone in Frigga's chambers she allows her honest, tumultuous emotions to surface. "I would have come sooner, had I known."

It's so strange to be back in Asgard, standing on far more equal footing with its Queen than she had ever thought she would. And while Sigyn may ostensibly be here to represent her people's interests, she is acutely aware that the other woman needs no magical insight in order to know the real reason why she made the journey here.

"Oh, it seems unfair to give Gersemi equal blame when we all know that her twin is the instigator." Freyja laughs, briefly returning the squeeze. "In fact, I think Hnoss' true partner in crime may actually be one of your sons."

“I fear it’s a bit of both.”  Frigga’s voice is low, but teasing, as she momentarily wraps her fingers around Freyja’s wrist.  An easy laugh follows.  “What have Hnoss and Gersemi gotten up to this time?”
