After reviewing over 1,000 charts, I have found some good setups for the week. These were selected and should be viewed in the context of the broad Market Macro picture reviewed Friday which with 1 week left in February, saw that large cap and tech focused equity markets showed resilience with a rebound to new highs after a weak start.

Elsewhere look for Gold to continue in consolidation near the highs while Crude Oil consolidates in a broad range. The US Dollar Index now looks to reverse to drift to the downside while US Treasuries pullback in their downtrend. The Shanghai Composite looks to continue the reversal higher while Emerging Markets consolidate.

The Volatility Index looks to remain very low making the path easier for equity markets to the upside. Their charts look strong, especially the SPY and QQQ on the longer timeframe. On the shorter timeframe both the QQQ and SPY may be setting up for a reset as both have momentum divergences. The IWM continues to flirt with a break out. Use this information as you prepare for the coming week and trad’em well.

i feel bad for having lectured everyone all the time these past few days so let me just say someone in the severance subreddit mentioned the plot of the novella "the great god pan" really parallels and interacts with the plot of severance in a lot of cool ways, so i've been reading it and it really does feel like... a sneak peek into this show in some way

it's super short and on project gutenberg if you wanna check it out~

even if it ends up having no connection the show, it's an intriguing read. sci fi/fantasy from the 1800s is always interesting to look at with a modern lens, but also... some things it has in common with the show are hard to dismiss!

solomon let out a lighthearted chuckle before speaking up again. "i've seen binding spells go sour in all sorts of ways, but never quite like... this."

"i'm still confused on why them of all people, though," asmo sighed. "any of us could have ended up tied together. why them?"

"a binding spell brings two objects together. a lack of focus when casting can cause it to lose track of its target and seek what it deems as objects with the most mutual attraction. like the path of least resistance, basically." with that, solomon stood.

ruby eyes followed the red string of fate tied around one of his pale fingers, weaving across wooden floors and around couch legs to where a matching knot rested just above your knuckle on the opposite side of the room. lucifer's gaze held a smoldering intensity that you dared not meet-- any acknowledgement of the "mutual attraction" described would only embarrass you further. considering how you'd already seemed to bury yourself into the throw pillows near your seat, nobody had to guess you were a little sore about your secret being exposed.

these metaphorical handcuffs would be a little inconvenient, sure. but the smugness heating his chest was present on his smirk, his slightly flushed cheeks, and the reverent silence he'd sat in since solomon explained your dilemma. only when the common room cleared out for the night did he attempt to make his move.

tug. tug tug.

the pressure on your finger made your eyes trace the now-taut string to lucifer. he'd gathered most of it in his hands, tugging once more to beckon you closer.

"it appears you and i have a lot to discuss tonight."
