Lusamine and Tabitha is a very, very obviously unhealthy relationship- To everyone but Tabitha himself. 

For once, the manipulator doesn’t realize he’s being manipulated. Tabitha has always been unhealthily attached to maternal figures due to his own childhood traumas, and after being constantly dismissed by Maxie her simple praises turn a gear in his mind that drives him to complete devotion. He truly believes she loves him just as much as he loves her and will defend her as much as he can.

Really, he was just being used as much as Guzma was, if not more.

And I guarantee my principles are better than whatever you could come up with, considering your excuses for my mother. At least I don’t work for an organization that has a Police investigation underway.”
