Hey I’m just here to be back on my bullshit and say that:

Endos saying that alters in DID/OSDD systems “perpetuate the stigma of DID/OSDD being a scary disease” are bad for the endo community and I won’t back down from this point

Why the terms “sysmed/sysmedicalist” and “traumascum” are bad.

Written by a very angry alter.

So, the words “sysmed” and “traumascum”, we all know what they’re supposed to be related to; “transmed” and “truscum” — some endos/endo supporters use these words to describe other people who don’t support endos, I myself have been called a sysmedicalist more than once.

Comparing trauma survives to transphobes isn’t cute, funny, quirky or respectable. I have met endos who have lost faith in community members who use these words, because the disrespect that you throw to people who survived repetitive childhood trauma is disgusting. Absolutely fucking rancid.

If you want less people to be anti-endo, you have to understand that you aren’t going to get it by calling people “sysmedicalists”, did you genuinely think that would work? That it wouldn’t domino effect into something bigger than it had to be?

The terms sysmed and traumascum need to stop, completely. Don’t let the endo community make itself toxic.

Hey, my names Abner and I’m fucking pissed off. Two of our past abusers are still existing and haven’t been entirely shunned off the site and having to see them causes me actual stress.

So, for context, our body is a minor (16-17) and this takes place about 2-3 years ago. At the time our two abusers were 15-16 and 18-19 respectively (ages are fuzzy, sorry)
