as we approach the first anniversary of my lotf obsession here are some updates:

yeah i dont draw them as much. oopsies! i dont do digital art very often now so im like neglecting my social medias

i STILL say "its just like hit novel!" to piss people off because it WORKS and i get the reaction i wanted

im more critical of the book now, honestly in my opinion lotf was very clearly a product of its time and circumstance. i love the characters but its philosophy is deeply flawed (my problematic fave 😍)

drawing the pig head is muscle memory for me because i put it in all of my friends yearbooks

phrases i overuse so much that it triggers the fight or flight response to my friends and family: "william golding told me to tell you" "erm what the fly" "its just like hit novel" "did you know in hit novel lord of the flies by william golding [random obscure fact]"

i have fully explained the jiggy wars (i genuinely forgot if the fandom calls it this or if i made it up in a fever dream but im talking about the most recent time everyone yelled at each other over the jiggy ship) to over 15 people. and yeah. i lied about them to make it sound even funnier

for my one year anniversary i will be redrawing some of the old stuff i made back in my lotf heyday lol
