How did you come out with the dynamics of the players? Is it based in real life, a personal experience?

I'll be honest my DND campaigns have always been pretty boring outside of the dnd aspect. I already had the idea of a group of characters playing DND and becoming friends or lovers. There is some real life of it tho. One of my friends used to play in a dnd campaign where all of the players were strangers and they became friends and she had the most funny stories about them.

I didn't use her stories for the game but what she told me gave me a lot of ideas about how to flesh up the characters and their friendships. There are no references to their characters or the stories of my friend in the game.

I don't think the dnd characters hold hands unless it is necessary. Their vibes are found family rather than anything else

Hi hun, I really don't want to answer this type of question on this blog because it's for the game. That being said, my advice is that you tell her how you feel. Probably she feels the same as you do since she's flirting with you constantly but if she doesn't feel that way, there is no shame in trying. You guys can still be friends but you'll have to get over those feelings for her. Good luck <3

👻🎃 Since its almost Halloween I gotta know what they would dress up as or would they do a couple custom? Also what is something they would like to see Mc in? 🎃👻

Hello! I love Halloween so this is treat to me hahaha.

Ley: Ley loves costumes and she takes Halloween seriously and always tries to choose her costume to be either very scary, fantasy related, or at least funny. She would dress up as a corrupted witch with black veins painted across her face, neck, and hand. Her hand is almost completely black. If she had to do a couple costumes it would be: Princess Bubblegum and Marceline or Aragorn and Legolas or something like that. She will probably like to see the MC as a classical vampire. Carol: Carol is the opposite of Ley, she doesn't care about Halloween and she usually doesn't love dressing up but if she has to pick a costume it will 100% be a meme or something funny. I think she will dress up as a Pitbull or a gnome (because she found the TikTok trend really funny). She won't love couple costumes but she'll do it for MC. I think she'll like seeing MC in a doll costume (even if it's scary). Lup: Lup also loves dressing up and he really works hard to have an impressive Halloween costume. I think he'll dress up as Gary Oldman's Dracula. He'll be down for a couple costumes, he'll probably like to do Tim Burton Characters. I think he'll like to see MC in a costume of a classic horror movie since he's a bit of a fan of the genre. David: David is not a Halloween fan. He thinks that is a wasteful and capitalistic holiday but I think he'll still dress up. Probably as a philosopher or a history figure as a joke. He'll do a couple costumes with MC even if he's not a huge fan of Halloween and I think he'll really like to see MC in a cute Halloween costume. Like a Ghost made out of a sheet.

Could we maybe get some infos on the mc? Like are there things already set in stone, i.e. background, work/life situation, physical attributes etc.?

Hello,

Mc is pretty customizable; you can choose their physical appearance, their pronouns, and some stuff along the way. There are things set in stone; MC will always be in an age range of 24+, MC is working already and their profession is something creative (I'm still thinking about this) and they live alone in a big city with no family close by. You guys will have different options that will also shape their personality a little bit and as the story progresses there will be more options regarding MC. Honestly, the game is still a work in progress so there are a lot of things that can change until the demo is ready.

I love Lup's confidence in himself. Since you accept scenarios... How would the ROs react to MC suddenly fainting?

I'm glad you like Lup <3. Ley: Ley actually has a fainting condition so she knows exactly what to do. She will try to catch mc before they hit the floor and lay them gently on the floor. She will look for something soft and put it under their head. She will wait a little bit to see if they wake up, checking their pulse and breathing. If MC doesn't wake up she'll call an ambulance. Carol: Carol will panic a bit more. She had a huge accident a few years ago and she still struggles with trauma about it. I think she will have a lot of anxiety but she'll try to catch mc before they fall and try to wake them up. If they don't wake up, she'll call a close friend or family member for help because she can't think straight. Lup: Lup is very collected and keeps calm in hard situations. He will help MC get to the floor safely and accommodate them with pillows and blankets to make sure they're comfortable. They'll stroke their face, waiting for them to wake up. He has a glass of water ready for them. If doesn't wake up, he'll immediately call an ambulance. David: David seems very confident and mature but he's still pretty inexperienced with some parts of life. I think he would be very scared, thinking that MC is having a serious illness. He'll try to catch them and put them on the floor. I think he'll cry out of stress and worry. He'll call the emergency services immediately thinking something horrible is happening.

Does the ROs know other language than english? And if Yes, does our mc get the chance to know more than one language too?

That's a very interesting thought. For me, as a native Spanish speaker, they all speak Spanish on my mind but I don't think that's going to show up on the game. I mean if I were to choose a native language for each of them it would be: Ley: Italian Carol: UK English Lup: Spanish David: American English Fill: Italian or Spanish (I can't decide) Irvas: Portuguese

But they all are going to be speaking English and I doubt that would be an important feature

It's so interesting hearing your thoughts on the characters. That is generally true you're right on the louder characters getting more attention in IFs usually.

i honestly am personally so intrigued by David and Ley. I generally don't like characters that flirt with everyone because while that always adds the dynamic of how geniune are they? Would MC just be another one added to the list. And while that is good for readers that love the angst of watching your RO flirt with everyone and pouting in a corner (no hate to those that do lol)

I just always find them so redflaggy. I always by flaw go for the quieter more cold characters. Dk if we have one of those but there is something about getting under someone's skin that normally just has a stonewall up that makes me swoon. 😭

I am looking forward to getting to know David in particular. ❤️ Liam would probably be my third romance route and Carol last. Lol, no offense obvs.

On a scale of slowburn to moving too fast, where would each route fall? 🤔

I totally get your point about characters that are flirting with everyone and I agree hahaha. I would say that Ley and David are probably the ones that fit that description the best. The thing with Ley is that she's cheerful and tries to please everybody and that's part of who she is but there are a lot of things she hides for the sake of others and herself. She puts up a front to avoid getting hurt and therefore even if someone tries to hurt her, that person will never see her getting hurt or having a down moment. There is a lot of her that she doesn't share until she trusts the other person. Daniel maybe fits your description more conventionally. He's very stoic, and mysterious and doesn't share a lot about himself at first. Underneath all of that he's very soft and sweet he just has a hard time sharing who he is truly. He also has a pretty deep voice that adds to the whole thing about how he presents. Lup or Liam is also pretty hard to read but he's not really that reserved. About the slowburn: I would say that Carol is the one who moves too fast but it's just by comparison. I would say that she's the one that realizes her feelings first and she makes a move very early on. She's pretty insecure about a lot of things but she's not afraid of getting rejected. Second to Carol, would be Lup (Liam) since he knows himself pretty well and realizes early on that he has feelings for MC. He won't make a move very early cause he doesn't want to make MC uncomfortable and wants to get to know them better. So he'll take it easy. David would have a hard time opening up and accepting his feelings for MC cause he's kinda scared. He doesn't have that much relationship experience so he wants to play it safe and get to know MC very slowly until he feels comfortable asking them out. Ley is the queen of slowburn. She can spend years without a partner cause she doesn't play about relationships. She's also pretty dense about when someone has a thing for her so she'll just assume MC doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Also, Ley likes being friends with someone before dating them. She will flirt with MC but she won't make real moves on them until she's certain about it.

Do the ROs act differently around MC, either during a session or not, when they're crushing on them?

Well, it depends.

Ley: Ley is the dm so even if she likes the MC she doesn't want to show favoritism because it's unfair for the rest of the players. While she tries very hard to not act in a way that would be obvious that she's into the MC. Sometimes you can tell, for example: If the party were to get an animal companion, Ley would make sure that the animal is attached to the MC. So it's the little things. Carol: Carol will absolutely flirt with the MC character. Not all the time but if she has a chance she's going to take it. She hopes to get a chance to romance MC's character but she won't ask because she's embarrassed. She'll try to be sneaky about it and make it seem like it's just her character but nah, she just wants to flirt with MC. Lup: Lup won't flirt while in session because his character won't do it. He's very true to his character while roleplaying. His characters are always more in the funny and kind of crazy part of dnd so not suited for romance. I do think that he'll offer to help MC if they need help or some guidance so he will act differently but it's not a huge change. David: With David is hard to tell if he's acting differently with someone even while roleplaying. I think he will flirt with MC but he will be very subtle about it. His character is very distinguished but she'll ask MC's character to have a few drinks with her.

Hello! I think that Ley is probably the one that is going to be the least romanced out of all of them. Not because there's something wrong with her but because I see that people usually go for edgier characters or more loud ones. Ley is neither of those, she has quite a story behind her but she's positive and tends to not want to burden others with her issues. I think that Carol is going to be the more popular choice. She's loud, funny, and open from the get-go. She's super likable from the start and she's super charming as well. Her dynamic with Ley brings a lot of laughs to the group. I personally think that I would romance her out of everyone. But of course, that's my opinion. All of them are super charming I just think that Carol is going to be more popular.

I think every Romance will get a sex scene but I'm not the greatest smut writer out there so we'll see lmao.

Oooh, I can tell you which of the Romanceable characters are more spicy in bed but I'm not 100% how much smut i'll put on the game so we'll see how that translates to the game.

Ley and Lup are probably the ones that are the most spicy. Both of them had more experience than the rest of the romances and both are kinky.
