Former plantation called Bakkie. Located in Commewijne, Suriname. Nowadays you can visit the museum and eat deliscious meals and walk through a garden with many tropical fruits and veggies!

Fort Zeelandia. An old fortress in Paramaribo, alongside the Suriname river. Back the the city was called: Parmurbo. The fortress was used to protect the city and served as prison aswell. Since 1995 it is part of the Surinaams Museum. Fotos taken in April 2015.
