Got back from mff 2023! Had a ton of fun meeting all of you! My workshop is empty of little bugs since they all sold so I gotta fix that lol

Wanted to mess with my spooder a bit again and I wanted to incorporate pedipalps. Since they are a jumping spider I also think that a rabbit theme fits pretty well! I missed the expressiveness of my axolotl sona too so kinda brought that in as well.

I’ve been trying to use basic art drawing tools to make quick doodles and it’s very freeing!

People have been curious about my process so here’s a little example of what goes on in my head when studying a style. I’m no expert but I love Pokémon and like to copy the style when making fakemon.

Another Pokémon for my Pokémon generator warmups! Shellder has a special place in my heart 💜

-I tried making my own stickers yesterday and I like how they look

- All day yesterday was spent trying to align them for the printer

- All I have is Hoothoot but I’d like to make some more Pokémon for the con

- All I have rn is black ink so I’ve decided to embrace it for a spooky style

This is an old piece but I still like it a lot! It was a commission for @nomadevenn but their user name must be different and I cannot find them anywhere ;n; if anyone recognizes this character pls let me know because I wanna ask them if I could use this piece for my business card.

It was very fun to draw and I think their character is really cool!

Getting sea bunnies ready for MFF 2022 !

-This will be my first convention where I have made some needle felting for it

- I really hope people like them as much as I do

- I’ll be selling more than just sea bunnies ofc but I think they will be my main bulk besides commissions

Been drawing random Pokémon for fun!

-I forgot this lil guy existed but I love him ❤️

-I'm finally down to the last of the new textures to make.

-all that's left is Diona's antenna and arms

-I've been putting off the arms though because Vroid really had fucked up polygons for it

so my process has been:

Isolate via material of the piece I need to fix

Get rid of unnecessary or overlapping polygons (I decimate if its just too polygon dense especially if the piece isn't going to have physics )

Re-unwrap the UVs in a way that makes it easier to draw the texture for

Draw and Import texture

Make sure it lines up with the UVs (for some reason it never seems to line up even though I use a screenshot of the Uv map directly in Rebelle >:T ) i usually have to scale and tweak the UV to fit nice.

rinse and repeat for each new texture

parts that use the same texture I do everything except step 4

I'm someone whos VERY new to this and since I'm editing a vroid model my method won't be the most Straight forward but maybe this lil post could help someone.

-I've been itching to stream, but I have a lot of work to do on the model still.

-I've been thinking of streaming myself working on the model, but its not the most exciting process while I tangle with polygons.

-plus I usually like to listen to other peoples videos while I work which I'm not sure would fly well on Twitch / YouTube.

-Here's a leaf I've been working on!

-I originally had the texture something different because I was using vroid, but now I've drawn myself some proper textures.

-Now I have to remap the UVs to fit the new images. I'm sure there's quicker ways to do this but I didn't want to have to change too much.

-overall its coming along and its got the ink brush look I wanted so I'm happy.
