       it was the stoic stare of the uchiha as if observing the hashira. sasuke didn’t care for hostile behavior towards him, he’d had worse.  funny, how obanai’s action thought they could intimidate him. it made him tilt his chin high and smirk, hands in his pockets, ❝ hmph. cut it out with the act already. ❞ the pre-teen shoved his hands in his shorts pockets before turning his back, ❝ tch. you lecture everyone but yourself. pinning over a girl when you’re supposed to be doing your job. ❞ leave it to a shinobi, especially one under tengen, to be observant. feelings such as love, sasuke never understood. it was a fatal flaw. to become stronger, one had to pushed such emotion to the side.

this just in : sasuke did NOT love his father . they say comparison is a KILLER and being told to follow after his brother put a weight on his shoulders . it made sasuke think that his father wasn’t looking at him like an individual person but a mere copy of itachi if not having the potential to become BETTER . what fugaku called BETTER was an OBEDIENT son who followed the rules and didn’t do anything SHADY behind his back . 

what fugaku saw in sasuke was a boy who wasn’t EVEN on itachi’s level and showed it with his actions that he cared not for sasuke . it was BECAUSE  of itachi’s actions of not obeying their father that fugaku FINALLY sees sasuke but not as how sasuke WANTED to be seen . fugaku saw sasuke as the BACK-UP option . the second edition . this , later on in sasuke’s life , is why he adapts fugaku’s mental habits as he grows older . 

sasuke begins to think this way towards his teammates . sasuke adapts that mentality fugaku had screwed into him at a young age until he grows out of that trauma after the final battle with naruto . 

also as sasuke is growing , he adapts to his mother’s soft-heartedness to certain things , people. he may not show emotion like his father , but like his mother it’s all spoken in the reflection of his eyes , especially when he has his sharingan activated .

i was re-reading naruto chapter 484 and i JUST NOTICED…after the talk with kakashi , sasuke’s VISION WAS IMPARED . HE COULDN’T SEE SHIT . HE WAS BLINDED BECAUSE HIS EYESIGHT SUCKED ASS 

then that’s when SAKURA TOOK THE INITIATIVE IN HER OWN HANDS TO TRY AND TAKE HIM DOWN . 

SASUKE DIDN’T SEE , HE COULDN’T EVEN FUCKING SEE . MEANING HE DIDN’T KNOW IT WAS SAKURA THAT WAS HOLDING THE KUNAI AT HIM . SASUKE’S EYESIGHT WAS LOST , HIS HUMAN NATURE PANICKED AND HE GRABBED HER .
