Farewell!
Here it is! The big master post for where to find Super from now on. Again, I may still use this blog (if it doesn’t get deleted) or make SFW Tumblr in the future, but for now here is where else you can find me.
I can’t afford to get a Pillowfort account right now, but I will in the future. I’ll probably be making more accounts too, so if you’re ever in doubt, you can find me as SuperSaiyanHollow or yaoiobsessedwrites.
I just made most of these accounts, so some of them are a bit bare-bones at the moment. I will be updating them soon!

I’m a little late in posting this, but I really wanted to share my AO3 stats with everyone this year! As some of you may know, my New Year’s resolution for 2017 was to post at least one fic a month and I accomplished this. I couldn’t be more proud of myself. 2017 was a great writing year for me! I think this is the most I’ve written in years with a whopping 137,000~ that doesn’t even include WIPs or RPs. I’m also very thankful for the 17, 201 hits! Thank you to all my fans, my commissioners, and my friends! And, a special thanks to the Mystic Messenger fandom as 4 out of 5 of my top fics are from that fandom since they received so much love and positive feedback! I even gained my first commissioner thanks to those fics. I couldn’t have done this without any of you! When 2018 first rolled around, I wasn’t sure what my new resolution was going to be. Two fics a month? That seemed a little far-fetched and dumb. So after thinking it over some more and stumbling across an awesome community on Dreamwidth, I decided my New Year’s resolution would be to write 200,000 words this year! I joined the Get Your Words Out campaign and am currently on track for my pledge! I also want to keep the tradition of one fic a month. I hope to put out at least one of my plot-orientated works as well this year. Another resolution I have is to draw something once a month as I plan to make a DA soon.
I hope you all will continue to support me in 2018! I have even more amazing things to come~ 💖 THANK YOU!!

Smutting 101
Besides action, the thing most people seem to be intimidated by is smut/sex scenes/lemon (if you still call it that). A lot of people don’t know where to start or how they should go about sex. As someone who loves to write sexy good times (it’s like all I write nowadays), I’ve decided to share some of the basics of the smut genre to help out scared writers!
Embarrassment
One of the most common things I hear from people is that they’re embarrassed to write smut. They struggle through sex scenes with a prominent blush on their face, overheating before the first article of clothing is removed. I can’t say I’ve experienced this myself. Maybe in the very beginning a little bit, but generally I don’t get embarrassed when it comes to writing smut. Even if there’s other people in the room with me, as long as they’re not right over my shoulder, I could care less. Maybe not getting embarrassed is something that comes with experience…which you’ll never get if you don’t start! There’s nothing to be embarrassed about when you write smut. Sex is natural. It’s a human thing. Most people will eventually do it. People go crazy over romance films and TV shows. And, a lot of people read it. You’re one in a million. The internet is full of smut fics and literotica. Take pride in your work! Just because it’s sex that doesn’t devalue your writing in any way, despite what some people will tell you. Sex isn’t something to be ashamed about! Besides, it’s usually harder to write sex and it takes a skilled hand, especially when we get into unusual positions, complex fetishes, and polyamorous relationships, but I’ll save all that for another post. Just started writing! Jump on in and get some experience! The point is there’s no reason to be embarrassed as long as you’re old enough to be writing sex to begin with. So, plop yourself down in a nice quiet room, and let those characters ravish each other! But, what if you’re embarrassed because this is your first sex scene and you don’t think it’s good enough?
Research
The answer to that problem is simple: research. Not everyone who writes sex has had sex. I’m a perfectly good example of that one! Don’t feel like you can’t write sex just because you haven’t experienced it. Writers tackle things they haven’t experienced on the daily. It’s a sign of a good author when they explore topics they may not be familiar with. But, what they must do is research. Professional authors have someone to do that for them, but we’re not all that lucky. Sometimes all it takes is a quick Google search to find some reliable sources (I’m assuming you know how to judge whether a site is reliable or not at this point). So, how do you research sex? Well, the most obvious answer is porn. Porn allows you to see everything in action even if it’s unrealistic in a lot of cases. Porn can help you visualize different positions and get a feel for what else besides the fucking you need to describe. There’s actually a handy section on Pornhub just to educate the masses! Of course, you’ll probably want to be incognito if you’re looking up porn. However, I know porn isn’t for everyone. That’s not your only option! Another way to research sex is to Google the kama sutra for positions or look up Cosmo web articles and things of the like. They’ll usually vividly describe different sex poses and sometimes even offer a non-graphic visual to boot. You also have your clinical and proper resources which will describe the technicalities of sex like you were taking sex ed again. Sometimes these articles are needed when you need to know about anatomy or how much preparation is needed for different types of sex (fyi: you can never have enough preparation for anal sex). And lastly, the good old-fashioned way of researching sex is to read your favorite smutty stories! Now, you’ll have to trust your author knows what they’re talking about, which is why I recommend you use another form of research with this. Not sure if the author knows what they’re talking about? Check the comment sections. Someone will usually point out what’s wrong with a sex scene. We’ve all heard the saying that better writers read a lot. If you want to write smut, read what other people write! It’s sure to spark some ideas. If you’re still embarrassed because this is your first sex scene and you’re unsure about it, have a trusted friend read it over! I’m sure they’d love to! And, if you’re really out of options here, by all means, shoot me a message. I can spare a couple of minutes to read through and provide some feedback!
Pacing
The next few topics I will be discussing concern the general mistakes I see when people write smut. The first on the list is pacing. Pacing is the tempo of your work, and let me tell you, a lot of people mess this up. Their sex scenes seem to fly by. I remember reading one fic where the sex lasted a total of three sentences. Three sentences?! I’m a strickler for description, so my recommended length for sex is probably around a page or two at least. There’s way too much to describe about sex for you to only have a few paragraphs. When the pacing for smut in a fic is too fast for me it completely ruins the entire mood and story. You could have the biggest build-up imaginable, but if you fall flat during the execution, you’ll be losing a lot of readers. Now, depending on the situation of the sex, there’s instances where the pacing is fast. This is usually when either one or both partners are virgins, in which case they’re going to orgasm faster simply because they’ve never experienced something like this before, or when the characters are trying to have a quick session. But, any other time, sex is something you sit down for because it’s going to last a while, especially when it comes to kinks. Generally, there’s a lot more foreplay than actual sex. And, don’t forget the preparation either! If you’re writing anal sex and you’re having one dude slip inside the other easily, that’s not realistic. That may work for vaginal sex, after the woman has been stimulated enough to be that lubricated, but the ass is completely different territory, but I’ll get into that mess later. When I write smut I usually spend the majority of the time on foreplay. When my characters are finally inside of each other, that’s when I start to speed things up because they’re already so on edge, it makes sense for them to go a little bit faster. Or, they can be sensual and slow it down even more. The pacing all depends on the mood. Don’t make it fast unless it has a reason to be.
Foreplay
So, I mentioned foreplay, but what really is the foreplay portion of sex? It’s everything leading up to them being inside each other. That’s right. All the nitty gritty details of getting into the bedroom and riling each other up beforehand. Foreplay should last either just as long or longer than the actual sex itself unless again you’re dealing with virgins or the situation calls for a quickie. Most of the time I enjoy the foreplay more than the actual sex. Foreplay can be kissing, biting, leaving marks, scratching, nipple sucking, ass grabbing, preparation, oral sex, dirty talk, spanking, caressing, grinding, etc. There’s a lot that can be done, particularly for kinks since most of them require a scene, again to be talked about later since this is just the basics. Really drag out your foreplay. Describe how each partner is feeling. Describe every little movement, each sound of satisfaction, the heat in their stomachs, the breathes they share, and the words they exchange. Foreplay is when you set up the mood for your smut. If it’s rough, then there’s a lot of biting, growling, and jerky movements. If it’s sensual, then there’s lapping tongues, gentle caresses, and heartfelt words. Remember that you’re building the reader up just as much as you’re building the characters up. Try not to do too much in one sentence such as: “He unbuckled his pants, grabbed the condom, ripped it from its wrapper, and rolled it over his head.” Take this long sentence apart and describe each part slowly. “He unbuckled his pants, the click of his belt making her thighs tremble. He smirked down at her as he grabbed the condom off the nightstand. He peeled it open gently, enjoying watching her squirm. He rolled the unwrapped condom gently over his head, teasing her with his every movement.” Which one sounds better? Precisely. You want to engross your reader in the smut. Make them feel it. Then, when they’re on the brink, and only after thorough preparation, comes the penetration.
Word Choice
Finally, I wanted to discuss word choice. There are a lot of words you can use when writing smut that you can’t use anywhere else. Does that mean you should use them? Absolutely not. Again, this is all circumstantial, but generally you want to avoid these words when it comes to smut because they completely throw off the mood and distract your reader.
Penis: Too clinical sounding, not sexy at all, should only be used if the character is a virgin or not the smoothest dirty talker Good substitutes: cock, dick, length, member, erection, arousal, bulge
Hot: Don’t overuse this word, should really only be used to describe temperature, or in dialogue or a character’s thoughts, sounds unprofessional Good substitutes: sexy, sensual, erotic, alluring, captivating, sultry, voluptuous
Sperm: Too clinical sounding, not sexy at all, should only be used in a medical or educational environment Good substitutes: cum, jizz, essence, fluid, semen
Butt: Gross, not sexy at all, sounds like you’re in middle school Good substitutes: ass, mounds, cheeks, rear, backside, bottom, seat
Butthole: Gross, not sexy at all, you’re really stuck in middle school now Good substitutes: entrance, asshole, hole, opening, orifice, rosebud, passage
I’m not saying you can’t use these words, and some people may find them appealing. It’s up to you and your style. But, for me and most of the other people I’ve heard from, these aren’t particularly sexy words. Maybe that’s what you’re going for or you are writing about young love and they don’t quite know the meaning of sensual yet. Whatever the case may be, just keep these things in mind. If you’re trying to write something loving and deep and full of lust, don’t use these words. It’s all about the mood.
That’s all I have for your guys today! I hope this helps a few people out. Of course, like I’ve said, these are just the basics to get people going. I’ll be making plenty more posts that go way more in-depth, so stay tuned for those! If you have any questions, comments, or concerns my ask box is open~!

The Last Trick-or-Treat
Title: The Last Trick-or-Treat
Fandom: Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator
Author’s Note: Happy Halloween, everyone! I tried my best to have this ready in time, but it seems I fell a little bit short. Oh well, at least it was posted on the 31st (though Halloween is technically over). Since I wanted to get this fic out on time, I didn’t look it over, so it may have more errors than normal. Sorry about that! I just really wanted to get this posted! I may come back and edit it later this week. Anyways, this is my first time writing these characters or for this fandom in general! I love DDADDS though and I had this idea a while back actually. I don’t know what came over me, but I liked the idea of all the dads dressing up, so I wrote it! There isn’t really any romance in this, just some minor flirting here and there, since I really just wanted to write a cute and funny Halloween fic. Maybe I’ll write something more romantic in the future especially if I get some good feedback on this! Also, it should be noted that I’ve only played Joseph’s route since he’s my favorite. I only know of the other dads and a little of what happens on their dates, so they may not be portrayed as accurately! Nevertheless, I hope you enjoy it! I loved writing it! I haven’t written something for a holiday in so long, wow!
Word Count: 4,846
Warnings: Halloween, Halloween Costumes, Trick or Treating, Family Fluff, Comedy, Fluff and Humor, Flirting, No Romance, Pairings if you squint, Drabble, One-Shot, Friendship, Cute Kids
Pairings: None
Summary: Amanda is leaving for college soon, but she wants to spend her last Halloween at home trick-or-treating around the cul-de-sac with her dad.

Summary: A year after their meeting, Kurapika is forced to share his life with Chrollo and the rest of the Phantom Troupe members. Despite his repulsion and anger for the Troupe leader, Kurapika feels deeply bound to the man, making him unable to escape or be separated for too long. Yet, things are about to change for the young man because terrible events are about to happen, leading Kurapika to have to make devastating choices…

No problem! If you ever need someone (I’m a native English speaker), my commissions are always open!
Advices to find a beta reader? I need one ewe
That is a fabulous question…that I totally don’t have a great answer to. For the most part I don’t work with a beta (save for a handful of chapters), so I’ll let anyone who sees this make suggestions that will likely be better than mine!

pick-me-ups for writers
for the self-conscious beginner: No one makes great things until the world intimately knows their mediocrity. Don’t think of your writing as terrible; think of it as preparing to contribute something great.
for the self-conscious late bloomer: Look at old writing as how far you’ve come. You can’t get to where you are today without covering all that past ground. For that, be proud.
for the perfectionist: Think about how much you complain about things you love—the mistakes and retcons in all your favorite series—and how you still love them anyway. Give yourself that same space.
for the realist: There will be people who hate your story even if it’s considered a classic. But there will be people who love your story, even if it is strange and unpopular.
for the fanfic writer: Your work isn’t lesser for not following canon. When you write, you’ve created a new work on its own. It can be, but does not have to be, limited by the source material. Canon is not the end-all, be-all.
for the writer’s blocked: It doesn’t need to be perfect. Sometimes you have to move on and commit a few writing sins if it means you can create better things out of it.
for the lost: You started writing for a reason; remember that reason. It’s ok to move on. You are more than your writing. It will be here if you want to come back.

Ways to un-stick a stuck story
Do an outline, whatever way works best. Get yourself out of the word soup and know where the story is headed.
Conflicts and obstacles. Hurt the protagonist, put things in their way, this keeps the story interesting. An easy journey makes the story boring and boring is hard to write.
Change the POV. Sometimes all it takes to untangle a knotted story is to look at it through different eyes, be it through the sidekick, the antagonist, a minor character, whatever.
Know the characters. You can’t write a story if the characters are strangers to you. Know their likes, dislikes, fears, and most importantly, their motivation. This makes the path clearer.
Fill in holes. Writing doesn’t have to be linear; you can always go back and fill in plotholes, and add content and context.
Have flashbacks, hallucinations, dream sequences or foreshadowing events. These stir the story up, deviations from the expected course add a feeling of urgency and uncertainty to the narrative.
Introduce a new mystery. If there’s something that just doesn’t add up, a big question mark, the story becomes more compelling. Beware: this can also cause you to sink further into the mire.
Take something from your protagonist. A weapon, asset, ally or loved one. Force him to operate without it, it can reinvigorate a stale story.
Twists and betrayal. Maybe someone isn’t who they say they are or the protagonist is betrayed by someone he thought he could trust. This can shake the story up and get it rolling again.
Secrets. If someone has a deep, dark secret that they’re forced to lie about, it’s a good way to stir up some fresh conflict. New lies to cover up the old ones, the secret being revealed, and all the resulting chaos.
Kill someone. Make a character death that is productive to the plot, but not “just because”. If done well, it affects all the characters, stirs up the story and gets it moving.
Ill-advised character actions. Tension is created when a character we love does something we hate. Identify the thing the readers don’t want to happen, then engineer it so it happens worse than they imagined.
Create cliff-hangers. Keep the readers’ attention by putting the characters into new problems and make them wait for you to write your way out of it. This challenge can really bring out your creativity.
Raise the stakes. Make the consequences of failure worse, make the journey harder. Suddenly the protagonist’s goal is more than he expected, or he has to make an important choice.
Make the hero active. You can’t always wait for external influences on the characters, sometimes you have to make the hero take actions himself. Not necessarily to be successful, but active and complicit in the narrative.
Different threat levels. Make the conflicts on a physical level (“I’m about to be killed by a demon”), an emotional level (“But that demon was my true love”) and a philosophical level (“If I’m forced to kill my true love before they kill me, how can love ever succeed in the face of evil?”).
Figure out an ending. If you know where the story is going to end, it helps get the ball rolling towards that end, even if it’s not the same ending that you actually end up writing.
What if? What if the hero kills the antagonist now, gets captured, or goes insane? When you write down different questions like these, the answer to how to continue the story will present itself.
Start fresh or skip ahead. Delete the last five thousand words and try again. It’s terrifying at first, but frees you up for a fresh start to find a proper path. Or you can skip the part that’s putting you on edge – forget about that fidgety crap, you can do it later – and write the next scene. Whatever was in-between will come with time.

10 outline techniques for writers
With this post I listed 10 outline techniques to help writes move their story from a basic idea to a complete set of arcs, plots, sequences and/or scenes. Or to simply expand whatever you have in hands right now.
If you have a vague story idea or a detailed one, this post is for you to both discover and organize. A few technique will work perfectly. A few won’t. Your mission is to find the one that works best for you. That said, I advice you to try out as many techniques as possible.
So, are you ready? Open your notebook, or your digital document, and let’s start.
1. Snowflake method: Start with a one-sentence description of the novel. Then, develop this simple phrase into a paragraph. Your next step is to write a one-page summary based on the paragraph, you can write about characters, motivations, goals, plots, options, whatever you feel like. From this point on, you can either start your book or expand the one-page summary into four pages. And, at last, four pages into a brief description of known sequences of scenes. Your goal is to make the story more and more complex as you add information, much like a forming snowflake.
2. Chapter by chapter: List ten to twenty chapters, give each chapter a tittle and a brief description of what should happen. Then, break each chapter into three to five basic sequences of scenes. Give each sequence a title, a brief description and a short list of possibilities (possibilities of dialogues, scenarios, outcomes, moods, feelings… just play around with possibilities). From this point on, you can either create the scenes of sequences with a one-sentence description for each or jump straight to writing. Your goal is to shift from the big picture to a detail-oriented point of view.
3. Script: This might sound crazy, but, with this technique, you will write the screenplay of your story as if it’s a movie. No strings attached to creative writing, just plain actions and dialogues with basic information. Writing a script will take time, maybe months, but it will also enlighten your project like no other technique. Your goal is to create a cinematic view of your story. How to write a script here.
4. Free writing: No rules, no format, no step, just grab a pen or prepare your fingers to write down whatever idea that comes up. Think of possibilities, characters, places, quests, journeys, evolutions, symbolisms, fears, good moments, bad moments, clothing, appearances. Complete five to ten pages. Or even more. The more you write, the more you will unravel. You can even doodle, or paste images. Your mission is to explore freely.
5. Tag: This technique is ideal if you have just a vague idea of the story. Start by listing ten to fifteen tags related to the story. Under each tag, create possible plots. And, under each plot, create possible scenes. Grab a red felt pen and circle plots and scenes that sparkle your interest.
6. Eight-point arc: With this technique you will divide your story into eight stages. They are Stasis, Trigger, Quest, Surprise, Critical Choice, Climax, Reversal and Resolution. The Stasis is the every-day-life of your main character. Trigger is an event that will change the every-day-life of your character (for better or for worse). Quest is a period of your main characters trying to find a new balance, a new every-day-life (because we all love a good routine). Surprise will take your character away from their new found every-day-life. Critical Choice is a point of no return, a dilemma, your character will have to make the hardest decision out of two outcomes, both equally important. Climax is the critical choice put to practice. Reversal is the consequence of the climax, or how the characters evolved. Resolution is the return to a new (or old) every-day-life, a (maybe everlasting) balance.
7. Reverse: Write down a description of how your story ends, what happens to your characters and to those around them. Make it as detailed as possible. Then, move up to the climax, write a short scenario for the highest point of your story. From there, build all the way back to the beginning.
8. Zigzag: Draw a zigzag with as many up and downs as you want. Every up represents your main character moving closer to their goal. Every down represents your main character moving further from their goal. Fill in your zigzag with sequences that will take your character closer and farther from the goal.
9. Listing: The focus of this technique is exploring new ideas when your story feels empty, short or stagnated. You’ll, basically make lists. Make a long list of plot ideas. Make another list of places and settings. Make a list of elements. And a list of possible characters. Maybe a list of book titles. Or a list of interesting scenes. A list of bad things that could happen inside this universe. A list of good things. A list of symbolism. A list of visual inspiration. A list of absurd ideas you’ll probably never use. Then, gather all this material and circle the good items. Try to organize them into a timeline.
10. Character-driven: Create a character. Don’t worry about anything else. Just think of a character, their appearance and style. Give them a name. Give them a basic personality. Give them a backstory. Develop their personality based on the backstory. Now, give this character a story that mirrors their backstory (maybe a way to overcome the past, or to grow, or to revenge, or to restore). Based on your character’s personality, come up with a few scenes to drive their story from beginning to end. Now, do the same thing for the antagonist and secondary characters.
So, when is it time to stop outlining and start writing?
This is your call. Some writers need as many details as they can get, some need just an basic plot to use as a North. Just remember, an outline is not a strict format, you can and you will improvise along the way. The most important is being comfortable with your story, exploring new ideas, expanding old concepts and, maybe, changing your mind many times. There’s no right or wrong, just follow your intuition.
