I don’t usually like to watch long Animes such as Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc. but now that I have started to watch Animes again, I feel like watching them…

so tired....
So, I finally finished watching the first season of Kaguy sama - Love is War, and all I can say is, I am exhausted.
I initially started watching because I kept seeing this series everywhere even the front page of crunchyroll so I decided to watch it. The first few episodes were fun, the banter between the two characters were enjoyable, but that's only at the beginning. As I watched more and more episodes, I can't help but feel like I am watching the same themes over and over again. In fact the saving grace for me were the other characters (other 2 council members and the couple). The main couple were irritating to watch, after 5 episodes. It felt like the whole "I won't tell you to save you" trope but on the span of 12 episodes.
At some point I couldn't even enjoy it because I was just frustrated by the fact that this could all be solved by someone just swallowing their pride and confessing. It made it insanely difficult to fall for the characters. In fact I felt no sympathy when Kaguya failed to get Shirogane to walk her home in the rain, and get sick. I can't help but feel like she deserved it for trying to manipulate someone. Even their bedroom sleepover scene felt dry to me. (I should probably say that I am an avid shojo romance enjoyer and scenes that are meant to be romantic always gets me even though they can be cliché and repetitive, but in this instance I felt nothing but dread for the next episodes that I have yet to watch).
By the end of the season, I can't help but feel like I wasted my time watching two characters do the same thing they did in the first episode. Even thinking about it now feels exhausting...

another opinion to the whole Ban and Elaine pairing(feel free to read....or not)
I originally wanted to watch Seven Deadly Sins because of Escanor. I can’t say I enjoyed it. I was uncomfortable with a lot of things that was happening, some tolerable and others made me want to drop the series. But I had to keep watching since the main reason I was even watching was because of a character that would appear in season 3. Now that I’ve finished watching, I can’t help but want to vent about something that really bothers me.
Today’s topic is Ban and Elaine. Long story short, they remind me of another couple from Inu X Boku SS. In which, a 15 year old high school girl and a stalker like 22 year old man end up together. Aside from the female character being underage by international standards, and the male character being quite suggestive to her; it’s the fact that the girl is drawn like she’s 10 or less (loli character) makes this whole relationship seem illegal.
(I forgot if they kissed in the playground, but I remember being uncomfortable when they were talking about having children while their size difference was being shown on screen. I couldn’t find any others that share this opinion but this was the main reason I dropped this series).
In the case of SDS, although I was able to tolerate the idea of both of them being in love with each other, it made me cringe seeing the two of them during intimate moments, like their kiss scenes. I couldn’t wipe away the fact that I see Elaine as a child and Ban as a fully grown man. Their wide height and size difference doesn’t help either. According to my research, I am not the only one, however, I usually see people defending this pairing using their age (Elaine being 3000 years old) as a reason, as well as referring to other characters such as Meliodas (for molesting Elizabeth despite being beyond older than her, seeing Elizabeth as his woman even as a baby, and appearing child like in comparison to Elizabeth) and King (raising Diane when she was a child, as well as being childlike while being older than Diane).
If I were to analyse my psyche while I was watching, I would say that I was most in distress when Elaine and Ban were kissing. Seeing these scenes, I can see the difference between Ban’s head in comparison to Elaine, much like how a child’s head is smaller than an adults head. Additionally, Elaine doesn’t show any indication that she’s a grown up (which is probably why I was more ok with Ban being with Jericho, since she does show signs of being an adult despite being almost half of Ban’s height). Whilst pondering for a reason as to why I was against this pairing on comparison to the others, I started thinking about my own thoughts. One thing that comes to mind is how I was raised as a female child. I was warned not to go out at night, not to follow stranger and to be wary of dangerous looking people (usually adult men). It did not help that I would always see this in the news. I guess in a way, I was feeling distressed because warning bells were telling me that it was wrong despite knowing full well that there’s no danger.
In Meliodas and Elizabeth’s case, I felt sorry for Elizabeth and slightly annoyed with how easily she just let Mel molest her. For example, when they were looking for Diane, Mel commanded Elizabeth and her fake clones to fondle her chest, and she did so without question. It made me feel sour. Aside from this, I never really saw Mel as a child, since his build isn’t that of a child. This pairing just made me feel sick and honestly, it irritated me how ok Eli was with all of Mel’s groping (which by the way is way worst than any other SJ I’ve seen so far). King on the other hand looks like a child while Diane looks like an adult in giant form and more like her age in human size. In fact, seeing the episode with Diane (human form) and King side by side, appearance wise, you wouldn’t really think that anything was wrong. Additionally, aside from a few instances, their romance actually seems really innocent and childlike which fits their appearance. Elaine and Ban’s romance has a very adult feel to it (it feels intense and sensual) considering Elaine’s form.
Obviously there are people who defend it saying that it is ok since she’s a fairy and that she’s old, but it doesn’t mean that there are people who aren’t ok with it. In comparison, BL or yaoi is something I see as fiction and therefore can separate that from reality despite the amount of non consensual and often problematic themes in the genre, BUT that doesn’t mean that there aren’t others who feel uncomfortable and unsafe with the genre. Another example is tsundere characters. There are a lot of female tsundere characters that often hit the male character and o viewers are ok with it and only see it as comedic effect, but that doesn’t mean that no one would find it problematic.
Also, I really like Hawk, probably my favorite character.

so i typed this non stop sorry if it doesnt make any sense
Sometimes, I come up with brilliant ideas. Sometimes those ideas can be complicated. I would try to plan out a story line that includes many intricate details only to lose interest the next day. I have yet to complete a story that has a good plot and completed lore. For instance, there was a time when I wrote a story about assassins, with Kpop idols as the base characters (inspired by the anime, Black Cat). Obviously, in this story, the characters aren’t actually idols but stone cold well trained killers. The plot follows a character that is bored of his job, and struggles to find a normal life as all he’s known is how to effectively take out his targets. Did I mention that they were raised to be assassins? I also forgot to mention that they were bio engineered to have super powers. I, being a naive teenager at the time, gave the main protagonist a shadow power. I basically wanted to create an over powered character. That did not end well because he ended up being bland. I also discontinued the story because, for the lack of better words, some of the people that I based some of the characters on are deceased. I felt uncomfortable with it and so I stopped it completely. Another story followed suit. This one however has a conclusion. Not one that I am proud of. That’s been deleted years ago. I don’t have a copy of it either so I can no longer revive it.
Finally the one story that I truly wanted to finish but never did due to lack of motivation, a story of how someone became an idol. Idol life fascinates me. There is so much to it, and a lot of people know a lot about it, but there is still a lot that we don’t know about. I’ve read countless accounts of how auditions are, seen a handful of videos exposing idol life, and heard infinite rumours about entertainment industries. However I lacked the motivation to continue. With the declining popularity of fanfiction, and even less on the non romance section, I wasn’t getting feedback, nor was I getting views. I first thought it was my writing, maybe I just wasn’t making sense, I’ve shortened the chapters, changed characters, I was going nowhere. Despite all the research and time that I’ve invested in all of these, I always give up in the end.
I guess if there’s anything that I can take away from this ramble, I am not Asta.

Ever since the 5th episode, I’ve been thinking about Eri’s mentality and the impact of Deku’s actions when they first met. (btw, Im an anime watcher who knows a few things that have not been shown yet). Although I understand that they have to tread carefully when it comes to Overhaul, I feel like there was another way that they could’ve handled the situation... but the more I thought about it, the more I saw that what happened is actually the best possible option. The reason I say this is because Eri is a child. Presumably she’s had a very normal life with loving parents (based of the ending) and so she has a grasp of what is wrong or right. She wasn’t born and taught f-ed up things, hence why she was running away in the first place. Meeting Deku is the most important thing to happen to her. I’m assuming he’s the first outside human she’s met for the first time, since her imprisonment. Deku kept asking if there is something wrong, and even insinuated that there is something wrong going on, even if Mirio was trying to get him away. This basically tells Eri that, yes she should be afraid, and that what they’re doing to her is not normal. If they had pushed her off immediately after learning that Overhaul is after her, then that would’ve made her think that “even heroes won’t help”. This would have made her side with evil, and gave her the idea that heroes won’t help. But at the end of episode 6, we see the result of Deku’s actions. Eri has hope because of Deku.

So... am I the only one who whenever she starts a new route she feels down and like a cheater because "oh shit, yesterday I was this character's lover and now I'm not" and then my mind goes to the ultimate dark mode and then I'm like "This character used to suffer mentally alone and I saved him, now he'll go back to suffer alone and watch me making someone else happy" and the cycle repeats itself.

So...ummm. i had a dream where i was living with taehyung....and i was in a bad mood and he kept asking me if i was okay, and i kept pushing him off. This went on throughout the dream. But the thing that stood out to me was how creepy the bathroom was. The bathtub took up most of the space and it went from one corner of the room to about 2/3. There were ao many religious figures placed everywhere (statue and paintings) watching you, and the bathtub waa sculpted to look like a fountain, the spot even has its own quirks. Anyways, while i was trying to figure out how to turn on the tap, tae knocked on my door, asking if im ok.

Last night i had a dream about someone who is long gone. In this dream, i was with a friend, and we were looking for the place that they were. We climbed so many stairs, got lost, ran a lot. We were exhausted, and i was bare footed. I finally saw it. Their name was right there. But my friend ran past it. I told her so and we ran back. I opened the door and was met with bones hanging on red string. Somehow it started moving, and the hand that was closest to me started pointing at me. A skewer stick came out and almost got me, but i took it out. Then it started pointing at my friend and i quickly disarmed it. It kept moving, and i was scared. We ran away and got through this door where we met a few acquaintances. We were speaking and i noticed the floorboards were not flat. Like theres a large body underneath it and the boards are curving around it. We ran out and into another door, where i met a maleficent look alike and she sent a chihuahua after us. I managed to tame it but it kept biting me and it wouldnt leave me alone. We finally got to the eating area where the servers were setting up breakfast (?) Which was some sort of pasta. Then the server that was serving us sat down and started entertaining us, small talk and all that stuff. And i woke up in cold sweat because of the beginning part. I swear this is so much scarier......sorry.....for the creepyness.....

Monet shouldve been beaten by luffy, then by zoro but nooooo males cannot face females even though theyre villains ( zoro had his reason but god damn it its not a good reason, shes going against them). I mean i expected luffy to punch her because he did with alvida but its a little ridiculous that he doesnt just go 2nd and k.o her with haki and go after cc....this is frustrating.... Btw im typing this as i watch the episode and zoro just cute her in half withoit haki but i still think the same thing
