When Henry finds a box of chocolates sitting on his desk, he finds it sweet that the college is doing a fundraiser. When he finds a box of chocolate-dipped strawberries in the same spot, he discovers that he might have a secret admirer And when he finds flowers? He has to figure out who this mysterious guy is. Only- he's kind of hopelessly lost. Good thing Alex Claremont-Diaz chooses that moment to bust in and help him track the man down!

Ben’s grip around his wrists tightened and he pushed his hips into Charlie’s to pin him in place. Charlie squeezed his eyes shut as he felt Ben’s breath on his face. He felt sick. “No,” he croaked. “Stop!” His voice broke pathetically on the word. Distantly, he heard the click of the trailer door opening.

Dark academia in STEM, specifically the medical field

-early mornings spent in the lab, shirtsleeves rolled up to your elbows as you work on your dissection

-piles of textbooks and notebooks sitting on your desk, still scattered from your previous study session

-or, alternatively, a neat folder of starred tabs holding all of your online textbooks and notes if you prefer digital

-late nights spent hunched over your notes, half-drunk cup of tea (or coffee) sitting beside you

-anatomy figures printed from the internet (because your time could be better spent studying), with the parts labeled by hand

-studying with friends at the library, sharing a whiteboard and rapid-firing questions at each other

-a pen and notebook or iPad and pencil perched neatly in your lap, ready to take notes

-being the first person to answer on discussion boards after class

-bringing the entire pot of tea or coffee back to your room, because you know you’ll need it while studying

-drawing on yourself (or a partner), labeling all of the bones, muscles, and nerves you need to know for your next exam

-moving confidently through your lab practicals, knowing the answers effortlessly due to all of your studying

-carrying your tea or coffee to class in a thermos, hands wrapped around it on those chilly mornings

-printed out slideshows for ease of studying

-taking a break from studying to walk around campus or through the woods, getting some fresh air and sunlight after being cooped up in the library or your room for too long

-curling up with a good book/tv show/ movie and snacks after an exam, taking the time to relax and recharge before grades come out, knowing you did your best

-realizing that this field is hard, and getting a D or a C on an exam, or even in a class, isn’t the end of the world. You will bounce back. You will get your degree.

I need to do some little drabbles and ficlets first to get into the swing of things, so what type of stuff do y’all like seeing in dark academia or would like to see? Okay I’m writing this while holding a baby so don’t judge the grammar. Prompts pulled from a random website.

Write a story that includes the line, "I didn't see that one coming."

Write a story that includes the line, "Is nobody going to say it?".

“Alright, well, thanks Cas. Call us if you find anything out.”

Cas nodded, then disappeared with a flutter of wings.

Sam sighed, closing the journal he’d been pouring over. “Is nobody going to say it?”

Dean raised his beer to his lips, gesturing to Sam as if to say ‘go on.’

Sam threw his hands up in exasperation. “He’s clearly in love with you.”

Dean sputtered, choking on his beer. Bobby raised his eyebrows, turning to pour more whiskey in his glass. Sam barreled on.

“Think about it! The signs are all there. He’s in your personal space all the time, he’s always staring at you, he only answers your prayers, and he remembered your favorite song, for fucks sake.”

“It’s a tie between Zep's ‘Ramble On’ and ‘Traveling Riverside Blues,’” Dean mutters. “And none of that means anything. He’s just…not used to having a human body.”

“Really, Dean?” Sam huffs. “Don’t think we don’t notice the way you look at him like he hung the moon.”

“Sam, wait,” Dean interjected.

“Hell, maybe he did! He’s been around long enough. You two just need to get a room and figure it out. Somewhere far, far away from me, preferably.”

Dean fisted his hands on the table, handing his head. “Sam, stop,” he hesitated. “You’re…right. I think…I think I am in love with him.”

It was Sam’s turn to stop abruptly. “What?”

Bobby snorted. “Didn’t see that one coming.”

“Castiel…there’s just something special about him, okay? I don’t know. He sees everything in me and finds me…worthy, still. I don’t know.” Dean buried his face in his hands. “Sam, I love him. And I don’t know what to do.”

Sam was silent. Dean looked up. Sam was staring behind him, looking vaguely nervous. “Um…Dean?”

Bobby threw back the rest of his whiskey, slamming the glass down. “Hey Sam, I think I have another journal downstairs that might help us. C’mon.”

“We’ll uh, we’ll see you later.” Sam gathered his journals and exited the kitchen behind Bobby.

“What are you-“ Dean trailed off, realization dawning on him. He turned around.

Cas stood in the doorway, hands uncharacteristically fisted in his trench coat. “Hello Dean. I heard your prayer.”

I’ve been too busy just surviving to have much time for anything else, but I’ve finally moved away from my father and I’m just now getting around to watching supernatural.

Anyway my favorite scene so far was (I think) in season five where Dean decided to say yes to Michael and Castiel just beats the shit out of him while yelling about how he rebelled for Dean. Good shit.

Something else about my little Castiel cat is that he likes to comfort me while I sleep. I have nightmares often, and even when I don’t, I thrash around a lot in my sleep. Several times I’ve woken up after a nightmare and my cat is curled up on the bed next to me with his head resting on my arm, or my chest, or even my head. His eyes are always open and watching me though.

Also-this isn’t the best picture, but he has a little wing marking on his back. It’s more clear when he’s laying down, but he doesn’t do that often.

Thinking about naming my cat Castiel the way that mfucker sits on the chair beside my bed and watches me sleep.
