even the sketch dumps here tend to be cleaned up and I think that’s really messed up my mindset abt posting for fun here and I gotta get over myself

trying to figure out how to draw these guys and what features i would give them since barbara tends to change a lot depending on story and era, and then every robin ever is generally just drawn as bruce but small (confusing to me; awful with my face blindness)

I think I need to allow myself to have sketchier art. I’ve looked up to a lot of clean lineart styles a lot, but most often than not, my art has more character when it’s still a little sketchy ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Honestly when people say their art needs to get "more weird" they usually mean that as in "less commercial/less broadly appealing" and I think the answer to this is not to insert artificial Quirky Weird Style Stuff into it I think you just need to get uncomfortably earnest. What's the thing you really want to draw but feel shy about putting the effort into because it'd be too sincere an admission. You need to draw that. I want to see it

Hey! I'm glad ppl are finding use for the poster I made. I made it a freebie- there should be links to my google drive for it as a pdf that you can print anywhere (though unfortunately its only A4 size, so you might lose quality if you want to print it bigger than the average size of a printer paper).
