There’s this boy (I’ll just call him Alex) who has a crush on me and I rejected him at first but then I found out he was a bit of a creep so me and my friends thought it would be funny to mess with him a bit. Told him I regretted rejecting him with my friend next to me and my other friend on a FaceTime. He then asked me out.

My friend told me to tell him I’m not ready for a relationship, but he’s kinda fit so I said ‘yeah’. Long story short I have a boyfriend now.

Today I may have gotten into a tiny fight with one of my friends who happens to have a crush on him. She said I had ‘greasy ahh hair’ so I sent her a screenshot of one of me and his conversations. She then sent him a screenshot of one of our conversations where I called him a massive red flag and said his hair wasn’t even as red as the amount of flags (he is naturally ginger and he dyed his hair red).

He texted me asking if I actually said that. Lucky for me I spelled my name wrong in my Snapchat username and display name, so I pulled the ‘my name is spelled wrong there’ card. I feel kinda bad because after that he said he that he trusted me because I’m nice. He should not be trusting me, I started dating him for a joke and I called him a massive red flag. I feel like really bad because I’m actually starting to get a wee bit attached to him but I basically made fun of him behind his back while he was getting excited because I ‘regretted rejecting him’.

Tbh though, he is a massive red flag. Even his friend warned me about him (I’m friends with a lot of his friends). Alex used to date the friend I got into an argument with (the one who has a crush on him). They broke up because he asked her to take her top off on a face time. His friend warned me about that and also because Alex used to have a crush on that friend’s little sister (she was 7) and apparently also told her to take her top off.

I feel bad for calling him a red flag and making fun of him, but he’s also a red flag who deserves to be made fun of.
