Beast of burden concept for project strife. “Bristlepines” - like porcupines, but rideable and with bristles instead. Also made of rhino, goat, and shrew. Or something. Maybe a hint of fox in that tail. A general fauna species of myrhl evolved from fuck knows what.

Here are some more viral noises just because (gore/blood warning) and some random DL lore.

Virals are “freshly turned” zombies who still retain their ability to move around and are highly aggressive/volatile, and are typically focused on noise, so any sort of loud noises (gunshots, explosions, roof breaking, etc) draws them. They can also pretend to be normal Biters (”walkers/slow zombies”) and leap out when you get near... and also possess the innate ability to, at times, beg for mercy or the PC to “stay away.” Most likely due to the fact the virus is a mutation of rabies, and rabies drives infected to be highly aggressive in order to spread.

Just... interesting tidbits. Coya is aggressive partially to spread Strife, but mostly because she finds it “fun and exciting” compared to her old life being trapped in her Mother’s containment lab of sorts.

Gore/Blood warning

here’s some shit Coya would do... while going absolutely apeshit on someone, suddenly begging for mercy as if she’s “getting a hold of herself,” then going feral once more. It’s not that she really does want mercy (though sometimes it’s a knee-jerk reaction to being cornered or really fearing for her vessel’s life), but moreso she preys on human sympathy/emotions to get what she wants.
