In Lissitzky’s poster a boy and a girl are photographically fused into a single entity to embody the ideal of the international Soviet and its egalitarian, collective consciousness. Their open-necked shirts and the girl’s breeze-blown hair, silhouetted against an open sky, speak to the children’s healthy lifestyle and, by association, the vitality of the state. This poster prefigures many of the conventions that would harden into Socialist Realism, including the relentless optimism and the gigantism that elevates figures to a superhuman scale and power. But Lissitzky’s skilled use of photomontage and graphic design also make this an effective piece of propaganda, which was widely admired by avant-garde designers at the time.

She’s my OC, she is a princess from another kingdom near Stella’s/Solal’s and she absolutely wants to marry Solal

He isn’t interested in her, she thinks it doesn’t matter if it’s a political marriage

She’s really dramatic, she loves jewels and pretty clothes, and she is the nicest girl you could meet, she’s just slightly obsessed with Solal

(she is aware Solal and Stella are the same person, she is just as obsessed Stella but she doesn’t want her being obsessed with both to reveal Stella and Solal are the same person so she tries to keep it down when it comes to Stella)

okay, well if anyways wants to know, i’m currently working on this, mapping how everything is going to go, please give me ideas

so here are some things i’ve already decided :

this fic isn’t going to be long, im thinking around 20k words max

Mary is an inventor, she is an half blood (muggle mother and wizard father) and she wants to bring muggle technology into the wizarding world

Lily will be getting a potion mastery, and work help Mary with her inventions

Marlene and Dorcas will also be going to France with them (bc they want to show support for Lily and have her back if anyone comes for her) they’ll be together (Dorlene my beloved)

Frank and Alice will be up in Germany will everything cool off, and they’ll visit the girls often

Dorcas gets into pro Quidditch for a french team and marlene writes commentary for matches, they’ll possibly be getting a kid ??

Severus is going to be present, i haven’t decided how he plays into this yet, but I want him to be a good friend for Lily and help her when (if ?) the girls all go back in england when things have calmed down

I don’t know yet what i’m doing with the marauders yet. i’m torn between following canon and killing james, peter hiding as a rat and sirius ending in azkaban or trying to give them a happy ending (but i have no idea what i’ll do then) pls suggest

pandora lives, luna will be like a cousin to harry and neville, tho i don’t know how much i’ll actually write about the kids, i’ve always been more of a golden ear girl so i might pick this univers up and write a second part focusing on harry in hogwarts

for now that’s it, i’ll update when i’ll start writing, but i don’t really know yet what it’ll be like since i’m not that great of a writer, english isn’t my first language and i have never finished a fanfic before 🤷🏻

if i were to write a fic abt Lily (pregnant) leaving James bc he isn’t over regulus (this would be a post jegulus world) to live in a cottage in france with Mary would anyone be interested ?

i have seen too many jegulus post that are along the line of « james would never get over regulus after he died » or « james getting with lily after regulus died but never being the same and never being fully happy with her » and i can’t take it anymore, if you don’t like lily aka the most amazing and badass woman ever then you don’t deserve to say her name 😒

anyways i want to write this, and i want to know if i would be doing this for myself or if i should post it somewhere

also would you all be okay with redeeming Severus ? possibly him being an uncle to harry and helping lily out with escaping england and james, and accepting she’ll never love him but being there bc he does ?

(also you can bet i’m saving Alice and Frank from Bellatrix and having Neville and Harry being raised as cousins)

she practically didn’t speak the whole time, and i was scared she didn’t like it, but after episode 8 she asked me when was season 2 coming out and insulted disney for not giving a date yet so it went well 👍
