Day 8 of 70 Days Glow Up Challenge
Okay so I know I never made career progress part of my goals but y’all, after 8 years of dreaming and wishing and planning for it, I am finally getting a makeup artistry diploma! I’m soooo excited, it has been a goal of mine FOREVER and it’s just means I’m finally gonna be working towards a career path I’m interested in rather than what I “have” to do. I’m so excited I wanna dance 💃
But this also means I’m gonna have more on my plate so I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to be consistent with my glow up challenge, but I can’t believe I made a whole week already! Granted, I didn’t make as much progress as I wanted to make, but I feel like while I have so much going on, even being somewhat consistent is something to count since I probably would not have done even half of this if I wasn’t doing the challenge.
Fitness:
I did my intermittent fast for 20 hours today! I was so impressed with myself. I also made a healthy lunch and having a salad for dinner, falling in calorie deficit. This has been a really good diet day, and I’m ending the night with some pilates and yoga. I also took 5k steps today!
Beauty:
Put body butter all over today and did my skincare routine. I did a very basic makeup today as I did not have much time before work, but I did straighten my hair!
Self-Confidence:
Cute fit, hair done and meditated with affirmations! Felt and looked good 😊
Writing:
Focusing on school writing for the day and also listening to my audiobook. I plan to read before bed and if I get the time, I’ll put some words on paper as well!

Day 7 of 70 days Glow Up Challenge:
Fitness:
I unfortunately did NOT hit my quota of 5k steps minimum yesterday :( but I did get some yoga and pilates in! I also avoided sugar, and while I did not eat in deficit, I also did not go over my calorie intake. I also did intermittent fasting for 16 hours!
Beauty:
I feel like my skincare routine and makeup routine has been making my goddamn day because I just feel really good afterwards! I applied jojoba oil on nails at night and deeply moisturized my hands and arms.
Self-Confidence:
I put on a cute fit for the day and felt so put together afterwards! Also did a meditation while thinking positive thoughts and ngl this is really helping with my mindset!
Writing:
I wrote about 500 ish words which is some progress, even though I would love to write more. It has been hard getting words on paper when I’m so stressed out with school work. Sigh.

Day 5 of 70 Days Glow Up Challenge
Fitness:
Did intermittent fasting and even though I had calorie heavy food (it was a party), it was during my eating window so I’ll take that as a win. I have started avoiding sugary goods so I avoided the desserts. Hit my goal of at least 5k steps.
Beauty:
I had my ginger-honey-lemon-tumeric shot in the morning before work and did my whole skincare routine. Ending the day with a face and neck massage.
Self-Confidence:
I had gone to sleep listening to an affirmation tape the night before and today when I woke up I repeated them before starting my day, which I think helped a LOT. My outfit and my makeup today also turned out really good and I felt amazing the whole day!
Writing:
I read two different books during my commute to and from the said party and ending the day writing only about 500 words unfortunately :( but it was a long day so I’m sort out of creative juices to keep going on so I’m leaving it here.

Day 4 of 70 Days Glow Up Challenge
Now THIS is today’s one
Fitness:
Did intermittent fasting and made a healthy salmon veggie and rice bowl to break the fast with an early lunch. Dinner was early as well, with a good old chicken alfredo pasta. All under calorie deficit. Though I did not get my steps in (I was busy cleaning my whole house today), I did get some pilates and some yoga done!
Beauty:
Did my proper skincare routine, did not put any makeup on, but I got some cute pajamas on for the day after cleaning! I’m also doing an overnight face mask and slathering vaseline all over my hands so it comes out the softest tomorrow morning.
Self-Confidence:
Okay ngl, my self-confidence took a hit today cause I had my driving lesson and it did NOT go that good and my instructor was NOT subtle about it. At least I decided to be productive instead of moping around about it so I’ll take that for the day 💀 BUT I am going to sleep listening to self-concept affirmation tape.
Writing:
Finished an ongoing chapter for this short story I’m writing so I feel great about that. Did not read much and I really need to do more of that considering I am in the middle of 3 books and 2 audiobooks 😭
But that’s it for the day! Ngl this challenge really does make me want to do better and I can’t wait till my finals end next month so I can fully focus!

Day 2 of 70 Day Glow Up
Fitness:
I had a busy day so I only walked, ending with 9200+ steps so at least I did the minimum. I ate at a calorie deficit and that’s it!
Beauty:
I did my skincare and did my whole body laser hair removal treatment. It worked out really well and my skin was so smoooooooth afterwards!
Self-Confidence:
Even though I had a lot of errands to run today I took some time to do my makeup and wear some earrings and I felt so good afterwards! I repeated some affirmations while doing so and while doing my skincare at night.
Writing:
Unfortunately all I had time for was school project writing but I did listen to my book through Libby on my commute to my appointments and errands. Still, I was a bit disappointed about not being able to get words on paper :(
I hope to do better for the 3rd day so, fingers crossed!
