the whole thing feels a lot less silly when his expression changes. olivia's heart tugs painfully and she bites her bottom lip for only a moment before setting the shirt in the suitcase. she scoots closer to him and lays a hand over his, waiting until she has his attention. she offers him a smile, just this side of sad, and rests a palm against his cheek.
