Lead singer of LYRA, Anne Nova has released two albums since her ex-girlfriend, Seven Lawless, departed from the band.

15 minutes to change your mind, released by Lyra at age 24, is a bubbly pop record inviting you to spare an hour of time to consider Lyra as a permanent fixture in the indie pop industry. With hits like Your Loss, On Your Mind, Control of Me and Joke's On You, songwriter Anne Nova is insisting that missing out on Lyra is a regret for most. This record is a letter to every rejection the band has received, whether that be from lovers, labels or parents.

ladykisser, released by LYRA at age 26, is a vibrant record celebrating sexuality, confidence and is a bold criticism of industry double standards, as well as Anne Nova's official coming out. Nova has gone on record at interviews in the weeks leading up to the BOTB auditions, saying, "The entertainment industry is built on queer folk, and I think that's also something to celebrate. Ladykisser is, lyrically, queer. I don't think I could pretend it's not. The album is very much about my experiences dating women, and it's about radical self acceptance, but also how on the road to that you will still want to be liked." Tracks like Pretty Liar and Simple Math are clear references to her relationships, while The Closet and Blow Me are two approaches to her coming out, and Lose Her being a thoughtful experiment in conflating the two experiences and general rejection.
