My buying habit has gotten so much worse ever since I’ve gotten a job. Last year in January I bought one album with my Christmas money and I didn’t buy another one until like May. Now It’s April and I’ve bought a total of 13 of which 4 are pre-orders and I still plan on buying more when my pay check comes in.

I still feel guilty for having so much when other k-pop fans can’t buy even one album, even though logically I know that if I have the money I’m allowed to spend it on what makes me happy

I have reached a point where my room looks like I threw up all my interests on it. My interests being a bunch of fancy-pants-musical-asian-boys/girls and books.

Got my paycheck yesterday and immediately bought two albums. Do I have a kpop spending problem? Yes I do, but I go through to damn much at this job to not spend money on my coping mechanism.

I honestly think it's a good idea for all kpop fans/stans (especially stans) to take a step back every now and then and evaluate where they are mentally and physically.

There have been many times that I've avoided self care, just because I didn't want to acknowledge that I felt bad, by literally focusing on only kpop.

Supporting your faves is great, but sometimes you need to focus on yourself.

There is no difference between the new and old fans of a group (no gatekeeping will happen here) but it hits different when you've followed a group from their very humble beginnings and you've seen them grow and finally get everything they deserve.

The pride I felt and still feel when BTS breaks records and reach millions of people will probably never fade.

I might've found other groups and grown a connection to them too, but I will always be an Army first.

My first bts album was LY: Tear and if I had to buy a bts album again for the first time it would still be LY: Tear. That album will always and forever be my favourite.

All bts albums have a special place in my heart, but Tear is something else. Every song is a masterpiece and I just vibe with the whole album on a whole other level.

So if you could buy a bts album for the first time ever, all over again, then which would it be and why? Please mention the why. The why is important.

Nothing is more irritating than seeing idols get unnecessary hate simply because someone dislikes the group and music, in this case especially BTS, they really do not deserve the backlash and hatred but people say shit like "who cares, they won't see it" or "they don't get enough hate" they do and can see it and we already lost some Idols because of that hatred like they do see it and it does affect them and their mental health, idols are people with actual feelings too, and already they have to deal with so much shit from like everybody.

I need to rant for a sec cuz my day has gone to shit and then I saw this comment under a post by a Stay that was just talking shit about Stray Kids and it was the last straw.

Why on this green fucking earth can't people just be respectful. I mean sure- have your opinions, you're entitled to them, but for the love of sky daddy RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE.

If you don't like Stray Kids, you don't like Stray Kids there's nothing wrong with that. But then intentionally going to a Stay and commenting a bunch of hate under their post about their love for the group is just fucked up.

Not only that but the shit they're spewing is about another living person. Idols aren't robots and no idol will ever be without their problems, but the amount of hate people hold for idols who are just trying their best in an already toxic industry is just mind-blowing.

You don't have to like an idol, but fucking hell guys hating and shitting on everything they do is just????? How can you even do that?? Especially when you as a kpop fan know what these idols already go through.

(I'm not speaking on idols who have done fucked up things and are rightfully being shamed. I'm talking about groups that make small mistakes and are instantly put to death over baseless accusations or a mistake that anyone could make)

I've never, and I mean NEVER, hated an idol purely because I don't like their songs or they’re the competition to a group I stan. I will also never start shit with stans of other groups just because they have different opinions than mine.

You can have respectful, calm conversations with people from other fandoms without having to like the fandom they are in.

You can also dislike a group without hating the group and it's members and shitting on their every move.
