asian american restaurants have been hit hardest, even those that aren’t even chinese because all asians are the same

the emmy’s this year had asian american nominations makeup only 1% of all nominations, which is actually a decrease from 2% lmao

yeah, covid is hitting everyone hard financially, but asian americans have been facing a steeper and faster increase in unemployment than white people

and that’s from just a five minute google search for articles, not even getting into the fact that there were racial barriers in immigration until 1965, chinese people coudn’t be citizens or vote until 1943, literal internment camps,,, so like. yeah asian americans are the model minority until yall have an excuse to hate us or we ask for more, and then we’re put back in our place
