It seems odd to me that he didn’t mention DACA, Clinton, or Fake News. Did I space out for part of this?Â
And correct me if I’m wrong, but he didn’t mention Religious Freedom either, right? He mentioned Christianity and God a few times, but not the freedom to practice.Â
My quick thoughts for the SOTU:
POTUS didn’t seem to deviate from his speech as often as I’d thought he would.
The story on Ji Seong-ho was actually pretty brilliant. I don’t know who could argue that this particular story wasn’t inspiring, because this was the most interesting part of the entire speech.Â
Agent CJ Martinez looked really bored.
Trump spent a lot of time telling stories and not as much talking about his plans, and I think that was on purpose. We can generally relate more to stories, but it distracts from facts. The fact is that for every one of those positive stories, there is probably several negative ones.
That’s all I have for now. But, like I said before, my bedtime is 10 and it’s getting close.Â
Goodnight!

I’m pretty sure he mentioned “Best” and “Terrorism” in the beginning, but I’ve left it unmarked on my Bingo card because I was too busy marking other things.

SOTU
Hello, World!
Long time no see, or whatever. So I’m doing this thing where I’ll be watching the State of the Union address and giving my thoughts on it. Just a warning: I am not a politician. I took one poly sci class in college. However, I’m one of those human-type things and like everyone else, I have an opinion. Also, I’m an adult with a job so I have a self-implemented bed time of 10PM. So if this thing is late I may not see all of it.
If you’re still paying attention, follow me on this blog. Also, follow me on twitter: @amber_2099.
All tags on my blog that relate to the State of the Union Address will be tagged as “SOTU.”

If all popcorn bags say “do not use popcorn button,” why is there a popcorn button on the microwave?

Middle-Class
I want to do this post on the differences between the upper, middle, and lower middle classes. Because I think there’s a difference and we should pay attention to the separate categories in the middle class. But my brain isn’t working well after a bunch of adulting, so I’m just going to post the general idea, which is something that maybe makes very little sense because I wrote it down on a post it just to remember the thought.
Upper Middle Class has had to work, but perhaps not as much as the Middle-Middle and Lower-Middle classes. But the still consider themselves middle class. So they claim that living comfortably is relatively easy because they don’t take into account that they were likely born in a better position than others. It is easier for them to climb the financial ladder than it is for others. But because they consider themselves “middle-class,” they think their situation is the same as someone on the lower end of the middle-class spectrum.
