Thank you for all the lovely messages about Fern. It has been a strange few weeks without her. We picked up her ashes last weekend from the vet and were surprised to receive a lock of fur, a nose print and a paw print in plaster. Sadly, Fern left us to go on to the great fields in the sky on Monday. She was 13 years old and Alex had owned her since she was a few months old.
