And yes Charles is talking about Jack here. When they first met in their late 20s he had a bit of a crush but it obviously never went anywhere, but Charles just assumes flaming homosexual thoughts about other men is a totally normal experience. Susan begs to disagree

Another win for the AuDHD community!

It's pretty much canon to the Walten File now that Charles has ADHD, but I've always been found of Susan being autistic as well. It's actually mentioned super super briefly in one of my Sulinda fics, but not expanded upon much

I imagine that's one more thing Sophie and Susan bonded over for being "different" than other people

But in all seriousness, I want to do some more finished scenes and decided to pick a few randomly selected scenes from my fanfic to draw. This one is from the beginning of Tall-Tale Tell-Tale with her just enjoying some sunlight. Awww, how peaceful

Also featuring some drawings by Edd and Molly in the background. Sometimes when Rosemary draws they borrow whatever paper she has on hand to doodle along with her. Usually it's all manner of blood, guts, and skeletons, which aren't really as pretty to tape up onto a wall.

God this was a pain to finish. I'm really happy with the result though! I like how the vignette effect on the right side gives it a kinda claustrophobic feeling since Ashley is literally trapped.

I really wish people used the full phrase more, it's so fun.

I just realized I never posted this. Whoops! This is from April so the designs are a bit old, but I still think the sketch is good

As for the context, basically Susan was having REALLY bad delusions after days and days of repression and it was generally awful, to the point where she was having a panic attack on the ground

Charles did manage to calm her down and help ground herself again, and then immediately was like “dude wtf stop repressing your emotions”. Susan’s still somewhat out of it here and is just generally recovering

Yes, I am aware that the law that made drinking in the US illegal until you're 21 was passed in 1984, but it's an AU and I've already shifted some events from history around for timeline's sake, so why stop now?

Oh boy intestines! Basically, Ashley put up a mighty struggle before her death, but then Bon ripped her stomach open, and the damage was extreme enough that her guts came spilling out like spaghetti noodles. One of her last blurry memories from before she died was holding her own intestines in her hands as Bon started to shove her into the Billy animatronic. I'm sure that didn't sear itself into her mind and leave permanent, lasting mental scars

This was before Rocket learned it's best not to touch the pain clown. Rosemary probably made them apologize after and they wrote Ashley an apology 'card', which was actually just "wear sorry for herting you" written on a dusty post-it note

Just expression practice

Rosemary offers a good shoulder to cry on. She relates a lot to Ashley and feels awful for just how young she was to be subjected to all this bullshit. Both of which are factors that play into her later on basically adopting her
