okay, maybe i’m late to the party but we’re learning about shakespeare in theater right now and of course, one of his famous plays is in dead poets society!! specifically, A Midsummer Night’s dream.. and one of the quotes from that play is, “The course of true love never did run smooth.” and i just want to bring attention to how that is literally todd and neil. like. their whole story. their whole entire just existence. i couldn’t get them off my mind for the rest of the class period. i love them sm.

laughing because I just remembered me and my dad having this whole talk where I basically came out again, and I did cry, and after a bit he asked if we were done talking and when i said yes he went “good talk!” and fist bumped me

I read “6 times we Almost Kissed (And the One Time we Did)” AND ITS SO GOOD.

It’s 371 pages long and I finished it in one sitting, which was about eight hours for me, and I loved it. I don’t read a whole lot of romance, but I absolutely adored this book. It’s not all just lovey-dovey romance, like there’s an actual plot with good characters and events happening. The relationship between Tate and Penny is realistic and the characters are relatable. There’s drama but it’s not unfathomable and it could all actually happen. It’s written well and it kept me entertaine, and I didn’t want to put the book down. It’s kind of enemies to lovers? Not a whole lot, but they definitely have this “I don’t like you simply because I feel too much for you.” thing going on. But with Tate and Penny, it’s not just constant constant drama. It’s like they don’t necessarily like each other, but it’s just enough and not too much to where you’d get annoyed at them/the book. I loved this book, and it definitely makes me want to read more romance.
