We know that in ISAT everything that happens on the screen is canon, And profiles and buttons, and the tutorial, and how everything affects the world, and levels and problems … And I thought. Why not make the "PLAYERS" canon for this world? just some entities that are not very well known but in principle there were some records about it? those who are known by many names. In short, just curious entities that whether you want it or not but will lead you to your goal. And now it just sometimes … Happens? (Perhaps also known as ending expressions? or something like that?) and people have heard something about these someone who will lead you through everything … And apparently they like to run? (and the price for this help that they provide are quite such nightmares, in which you see how everything could go wrong? (And in fact, people just replay the game to get easter eggs, or favorite fights …) So very dubious someone, but sometimes necessary … And they can also be scared off if you acknowledge their existence so they are also quite timid????????) I don't know, it's just… there's something that particularly fascinates me about the concept of the player as something not entirely pleasant… But not absolute evil either. Just… Something alive. Something to miss. Something… worth remembering. Yeah. I'm going into uninvited worldbuilding again. Oh well. Let's enjoy this uninvited worldbuilding while it lasts) (i sorry for lacking of structure... i just afraid that if i will add structure, this post will ends up being eaten and non exsisting)

I very much want Players to be canon. I like the idea of them being associated with the Universe - or a part of the Universe itself - that have a whole backstory and everything. Like, helping those who are lost or something like that.

I feel Siffrin's feelings for the Player, specifically, depends on the actions of the Player. (You know just like in Undertale where you're able to alter the ending to the game and your relationship with other characters based on your actions). If you're nice, in a way, to Siffrin, then he's more likely to see you as friendly. But say, for example - and definitely not something I might write in the future - the Player chooses to have Siffrin use the dagger a lot, even when there's better options near by. Or, if the Player refuses to let Siffrin make his own choices every now and then. Siffrin may feel that the Player seems them as an object.

But, if the Player does the "right" thing, then Siffrin may, as you say, view them as someone to miss when everything's over.

Also, I do like your thoughts. You're welcome to worldbuild on this as much as you like.

For a fun 'lil thing to rotate mentally, what if The Universe is actually the player? Like the country was aware of beings beyond this realm, beings that are all-powerful compared to them. So powerful they can create and destroy, rewind, and fast forward at will.

Plus the phrase "The Universe leads, we can only follow." just meshes so well with the relationship between game characters & a player imo, because what can a game character do but follow the player?

Everyone from the Forgotten Country knows about the Universe and how big and powerful the Universe is. But if Players are the Universe, and the Universe are the Players, it would make so much sense.

I especially like this because Loop would be so angry. Like, they've been led by a Player of the Universe, but they still failed. Yet, here's Siffrin, who's Player helped him get a happy ending.

Is it strange that we start slowly but shurelly falling in love with this player AU? It not even bring up to much it just a funny little diffrence that we do. and yet... where so many diffrent lay out that this interaction that we can easely imagin and enjoy! ... all this many way layer can hurt them. and so little way to be kind. and et it still possible. let Siffrin fishing, let him hang out with loop where they just silently sits together. trying not to presist on using more painful way to die... lead Siffrin thrue act 5 (...i just have a feeling that at this act Sif would run himself thrue this House of change, and all that i was able to do here was just be with him and lead the way.) and never play again. so simple and yet so difficuld way how you can be kind towards them. (imagin that in one dream Sif will see impossible shades. and one shade they will assosiate with theyr player. they does not know the name of this shade but he will know that this one - is his. a color of theyr Player. Theyr spectator. beholder or audience. [You got a memorie of Color. You will always remember this~]) Why this ideas just so strangely appealing?

Why are these ideas so GOOD!!!

While playing through the game, I was thought about how weird it was that you, the player, could manipulate Siffrin into doing anything you wanted. Like, for instance, you could make him talk to everyone every loop, despite the fact that Siffrin constantly reminds you that you don't need to.

I liked ACT 5 a lot. Like you said, the player felt like they were just along for the ride. I like the idea of just losing control of Siffrin in ACT 5.

Loop sits across from Siffrin, their arms firmly crossed against their speckled chest. "Are you having fun so far?" They tilt their head to the side. "Messing with the lives of others?"

Siffrin scrunches his face, and he huffs angrily at them. "What makes you think that I find this enjoyable?" He looks down at his heeled shoes, hunching further into his cloak. "It's not like I have any other choice."

Loop's expression shifts into amusment, their eyes twinkling. They chuckle, hollowly, like there's a joke only they're aware of. "Well, then~" Loop stands from their spot on the root of the Favor Tree and lean over Siffrin. They point at Siffrin, their pointer finger out and their thumb raised. "It's a good thing I'm not talking to you."

Siffrin shuffles back, squinting up at them. "What?" He briefly looks around, but there's no one else around. "What are you talking about?"

When Siffrin turns back, Loop's finger is now pressing against his forehead. "Loop?" Siffrin tries to draw away, but something holds him in place. He stares up at Loop, but their face is now completely neutral. "What are you-"

Loop presses their thumb down, and Siffrin goes limp. They draw back, staring down at Siffrin's slumped over body, before they turn to YOU. They clasp their hands before them. "Hello there, stranger. It's nice to meet you again. Or, would you rather I called you, PLAYER?"

When I refused, they threatened to permanently delete my account.

OH YES PLAYER AU LET'S GO

I wonder what Loop thought about the Player controlling their last loop(s)? That the Player essentially helped them defeat their King?

Maybe Loop is even a little grateful to the Player for this? (will someone tell them that there are thousands of Players, and the chance that they will meet the same Player who helped them with their King is quite small?)

I think Loop's extremely wary and even has a little bit of hatred towards the Player. This is mainly because Loop assumes the Player is the same one that caused him to fail in his timeline. This feeling only grows when Siffrin defeats the King with his Player.

I do think that when Loop confronts the Player - maybe in Act 6? - they are comforted by the fact that there's thousands of Players, and that they may never meet their Player ever again.
