I am once again thinking about Koda Power Rangers Dino Charge

Thinking about how Koda was an older brother, in a time when literally his only priority would’ve been the survival of his family

Thinking about how the act of bravery that made the Blue Energem bond to him was him protecting his little brother

About how when he woke up in the future his family and everyone he knew had been dead for millennia and nothing about the world was the same

About how a monster with the power to literally sever bonds of friendship could not cut Koda's bonds with the other Rangers because they were more than just friends to him they were family

How he has canonical trauma surrounding the cold because it reminds him of being frozen but he faced it to save the other Rangers from Iceage in the season 2 premier

How Kendall never let anyone call her by her first name at first but made an exception for him and she literally recognized a monster disguised as him with all of his memories because "he" called her Ms. Morgan

How Koda and Kendall's relationship never gets portrayed as romantic even though they're really close friends

How they portray Koda struggling to get a grasp on English because it's a language that didn't exist in his time without ever resorting to heehoo caveman speak and how his English gradually improves over the course of the series

Koda was such a good character guys we don't deserve him

This season of Only Murders in the Building has got to be the saddest one, and I realize now that not only is that because it revolves around the death of someone we as the audience know and love, but because it's the first time an honestly kind and warm character died.

She wasn't cold like Tim Kono, hateful like Bunny, or self-centered like Ben Glenroy. Sazz was nice and cool and a friend who genuinely cares about the trio. She also supported Charles in his endeavors, and she had dreams of helping other kids realize their dreams too by building that trampoline park.

This season hurts, bro. I nearly cried a couple of times. Like, it's a whole season of exploring what it's like to lose an innocent person to murder.
