I can't believe people keep getting this wrong so I'm going to set the record straight:

Carmen Sandiego and Waldo are not in a romantic relationship.

They have a professional respect for each other and occasionally swap tips for hiding from the authorities and stories of their travels. Carmen does know at least 7 of Waldo's aliases, and Waldo has a standing invitation to use any of Carmen's safe houses, but they are not dating!

Waldo's girlfriend is Wanda and they are very much in love and always wear matching outfits because they are just *that* kind of couple. They have so many in jokes that it's kind of annoying to be around both of them at the same time because, again, they're *that* kind of couple.

Carmen hasn't taken a lover since that humid summer night when, in the library stacks between the atlases and art history books, a young witchy woman named Valerie Felicity Frizzle took a break from working on her PhD to teach a daring pickpocket things about human anatomy that you simply can't get from textbooks. Life took them in different directions, but every now and again they both catch themselves thinking "what if..."

Get it right, guys, you're embarrassing yourselves.
