honestly, kapoor and sons was the first movie i saw where being gay wasn’t a joke and where it went down in an actual realistic way, yk? and the fact that his being gay didn’t affect his quality as a writer or much of anything, it was just heartbreaking to see that on screen. i didn’t go in expecting to cry but i was sobbing by the end of it
