Hi! Sorry for not being active like, at all, on here. I had a bit of drama on my main and ended up having to abandon it. My new blog is over at @fieryrageatheart but I don't know if I'll continue writing for OW. I love the game so much but I haven't had chance to play since about last Christmas (both due to real life and technical issues). This blog was a blast while it lasted and I'm so glad I made it. Okay but imagine Jamison first meeting his s/o - say, through Overwatch?

He’s really nervous, since him and Mako have been alone for most of their life in the Outback, and he’s not too used to the hero thing. So, him and Mako are stood in this reception-like area, waiting for some old lady called Ana to bring them in to meet the rest of the team.

It comes around and they stride in, with Jamison on the edge of his toes - literally bouncing around. THEN. He sees his to-be-s/o. Blanks out most of Ana’s speech, where she introduces them to everyone, except for the part where his s/o is introduced. usually Ana tells ppl off but she sees whats happening here, if ya know what i mean, eh? eh??

Everyone starts to dissipate and wander off to do other things, with the exception of his s/o, who walks up to Jamison and asks if there’s something on their face. After a little confusion, he replies with a shaking head and they snark back “Then, WHY are you staring at me?”

He stands there awkwardly for a moment and then literally JUMPS. Announces that the Outback has nothing nearly as pretty/handsome/beautiful etc. as them and is actually really sweet, until he realises what he’s doing.

Likely shuts up, blushes and hides behind Mako for a while after that.

McCree:

- he’s quiet. really quiet.

- if he finds them with whoever they’re cheating with, he’ll shout for a little bit at the pair, then storm off to shoot some dummies

- if his s/o admits to cheating and it being fairly regular, he’ll sit there, scarily quiet.

- asks them to just take their stuff and leave. his voice breaks if he speaks for much longer

Soldier 76:

- frozen. for the longest time.

- he’s probably had bad relationships in the past - but with this s/o? never expected it

- when he unfreezes, he growls lowly and becomes violent with whoever his s/o is cheating with

- tries to pretend that his s/o wasn’t doing this knowingly

- eventually has a breakdown, involves a lot of shouting and a fair amount of tears

Hanzo:

- he shouts. a lot.

- he’s usually calm but he knows that betraying someone is the worst thing you can do

- especially if it’s your s/o

- and he flips out majorly.

- he won’t get fully violent, but he may push his s/o if they get too close to him

- tells them to get out, before he sticks an arrow in them

Genji:

- if he walks in on them, he’ll walk out very quickly.

- he’s in denial for a few days and doesn’t mention to anyone

- zen confronts him about his weird behaviour and he opens up

- zen tells him to confront his s/o

- instead of being angry or calm or even quiet, he’s really sad

- you can hear it in his voice and, if he took his mask off, you’d see him crying to

- has to face the fact that his s/o isn’t as good as he thought they were and it h u r t s

anyway i feel nothing now thank.

S/o doesn't where fancy clothes often so when they do what would the boys say(you can choose which ones)

ALRIGHT HEAR ME OUT

Genji:

- before he became a cyborg ninja dude he went to a lot of parties right?

- so, say a formal event comes up and genjis a little sad that he can’t quite wear a suit like he used to

- but then his s/o turns up and they were running late for some reason or another

- and he’s just, utterly stunned

- compliments them a lot

- maybe even dances to a really slow song A THOUSAND YEARS

Junkrat:

- assuming all of this occurs because of a formal event that overwatch members have to attend

- jamison isn’t impressed with dressing up in real clothes because “they’re not efficient - it could set on fire!”

- dresses mildly formally - aka puts on some jeans and a shirt. closest to formal he’s ever been

- understands his s/o’s lack of fancy clothes because he barely owns clothes nvm formal stuff

- when he sees his s/o though, he’s gonna be so shocked

- at first he seems like he’s really salty and unimpressed with his s/o’s appearance

- actually just sad that he can’t pull off formal the way they do

- by the end of the night, he gets very soppy and spends the rest of the night cuddled up to his s/o

Reaper:

- he’s grumpy throughout this party/formal event

- i actually reckon gabriel has a scarred face under his mask, that like fades into smoke (based on a fair few fanarts)

- and so its probably one of the only times anyone except his s/o sees his face

- when his s/o turns up, he’s gonna be by there side in a second

- compliments them as soon as he sees them

- gets caught staring lovingly at them at random intervals and mumbles compliments under his breath in spanish

- he’s just so shocked that he could ever be with someone so amazing

ok so how about Hanzo / Mccree / Symettra / Junkrat / call for their S/O, but they're reading a book or whatever and they're too invested to get up and respond. how do the peeps get them up?

Hanzo:

- he’s fairly chill about it, pretty understanding that it’s easy to get immersed in a task

- he probs does it too a lot

- likely taps their shoulder lightly and attempts to get their attention calmly

- if this doesnt work, he might whisper in his s/o’s ear, just to be irritating

McCree:

- depending on his mood, he can be a daydream or nightmare fuel

- in a calm mood, he’ll wait or try and gain his s/o’s attention calmly, similarly to hanzo

- in an un-calm mood, he’ll tickle his s/o senseless just to get their attention

- he’s a smol bab, just wants attention from the one he loves

Symmetra:

- sits in front of her s/o and waits for a little

- if it’s really important, she’ll like, put her hand on the book, as if she was gonna take it

- that gets her s/o’s attention v e r y  quickly

Junkrat:

- he is a nightmare

- repeats the word “hey” and his s/o’s name and/or cute nicknames repeatedly

- has anyone considered junkrat as having adhd?

- he has so much energy

- potential warning that he’d jump on his s/o’s back to get their attention

- similar to mccree, also a smol bab, loves his s/o and loves that he interests them

Any headcanons for poly Reaper76?

Poly Reaper76:

This seems like a brilliant disaster.

• Reaper is a little controlling but is more likely to listen to you when you confront him. 76 is very worried about you all of the time and is more stubborn. He’s less likely to listen to reason.

• When missions end badly and you’re injured, they become very overprotective and they’re unlikely to leave you alone when you do return to missions.

• Gabriel, in particular, fears losing you. Losing Jack. He lost so much and he knows that going through that again would destroy him.

• Jack knows the feeling well. He lost Ana. Lost Gabriel. Even Reinhardt.

• Somehow, despite all of the sadness, the three of you make it better for each other. For the others on the team. And it’s wonderful.

Ayyy thanks for requesting and sorry it took so long!

Reaper:

- Depending on how *cough* mature the work is, his reaction could vary.

- At first, he’s a little confused but acts pretty arrogant. “Well, would you look at that?”

- In truth, he’s pretty shocked. Probably has never encountered the fandom culture, quickly warms up to it.

- Definitely makes a blog about himself and pranks all his fans.

- Would find it a little disconcerting, but I think he’d find it funny.

Tracer:

- Blushes. A lot. She is an exemplar Overwatch Agent and has almost definitely encountered it in the past. Doesn’t stop her from blushing.

- She finds it cute. Thinks it’s a creative expression. 

- She makes an official account for herself and loves interacting with fans, especially when she hears how happy they are.

Zarya:

- She would definitely be proud of it. She worked hard to get so strong, ya’ should be impressed!

- Admittedly does seem a bit confused with a few phrases (see: OTP, canon) but generally gets along well with it.

- Probably starts her own workout regime blog and talks to people about the best ways to stay healthy.

How do Junkrat/Tracer/McCree/Roadhog or Mei (jee willickers billy that's a lot ^^') try to make their S/O laugh?

Ayyyy I got this, okay? *regret at past words grows* Also, trying out a new layout.

Jamison will do anything to make his s/o laugh. Literally, anything. Don’t give him suggestions. Usually, he’ll tickle them silly.

Lena will tell cheesy jokes, really, really cheesy. Beware.

McCree will also tell cheesy jokes. Not just cheesy jokes, mind you, but cheesy jokes. He’d cuddle them, tell them puns. It’s all very loving and cutesy.

Mako will hug them. It sounds silly, but his hugs just engulf his s/o and they’re stuck there, laughing at the entire situation.

Mei will make puns. So many of them. Especially about the cold/her abilities.

Thank you! I’m kinda assuming that by dragon!AU you mean that the Shimada bros are dragons. If not, lemme know. still these two destroy me

Genji:

- Assuming that it’s post-cyborg Genji personality, he would be a pretty calm dragon.

- I mean, it’s kinda obvious that he’s gonna be a green dragon but what if, instead of red fire, he breathes like that bright green coloured-flame (which is chemically possible thanks chemisty) that’s even hotter than normal fire.

- I don’t think he’d have wings, but he would be an excellent climber - probably has specialised claws for just that purpose (wall climbing).

- Probably lives pretty close to the ground, since he’s a little more limited than his brother. I reckon he’d be that really strange example of a dragon, because he can be really wise but also, WHERE’D THE VILLAGE SHEEP GO?!?! he can prank people at anytime. No one is safe.

- Zenyatta is probably the only person who’s been in his den before. He might be friendly towards people, but that doesn’t mean they get free passage in there. That right is earned.

Hanzo:

- The arrogant kind. But not in the “I’m best but actually I’m not” more in the “I’m best and it’s so true don’t underestimate me”.

- Still not that much of a fighter. Might consider working for/with some kind of justice system (if it exists) to help people. Depends on his mood.

- Electric freaking blue fire. Hottest flame that any dragon has ever seen. Very scary, let’s be real.

- Probably lives really high up, like the top of a mountain. Ridiculously aesthetically pleasing view, good place for hunting for food (dragons gotta do it man) and, should anyone ever climb that high, he considers giving them advice.

Listen, I love dragons, man. I have researched so much science behind them it’s not even funny anymore. *cries*

Can you do Junkrat getting sick and his S/O caring for him, please?

Sorry this is so late BUT CAN I JUST GIVE JAMISON THE LOVE HE DESERVES

- Listen, this boy is the worst. He isn’t likely to take a day off when he’s ill. There was no day off in the outback, so there’s no day off now. So…

- Bribery is his s/o’s new best friend. Probably cuddles, maybe chocolate. Both is good.

- To add to the persuasion, they’ll make a pillow fort together and camp out in there. His s/o tries to stop Jamison from helping (”You can’t move, you’re ill!”) but the key word here is tries. It doesn’t work.

- They’ll watch Disney movies together and cuddle. At some point, you can bet that his s/o’s gonna try to leave for some reason or another, probably more food supplies, but they ain’t leaving. It just isn’t gonna happen.

- In the end, it’s all lovely and Jamison’s better within a few days. then his s/o get’s ill and the process repeats rip s/o

Since a lot of people compare overwatch to team fortress 2, I think it would be funny to see all of the overwatch peps reaction to tf2. (Also love your writing.)
