Hello. My name is Abdul Aziz Aziz. I am 36 years old and have been living in Belgium for a year. I want to tell you my story, along with my family in Gaza. I am married and the father of three children. My family is displaced in Gaza and I became homeless because our house was destroyed above my family, and because of the bombing of my house I lost my mother and sister. My children were injured and psychologically traumatized by this incident, and I now appeal to you to save my family from death. I also have a child who suffers from a brain tumor and has not received treatment since the beginning of the war. I fear that his health condition will deteriorate due to lack of treatment. My son's name is Yahya and he is 12 years old. He can't handle this disease, so I hope for your help. To take my family out of Gaza to Egypt, save my son, and treat him in Egypt. I hope you will look at my children kindly and help me. Thank you very much.

Hello, I'd like to draw your attention towards the fundraising efforts of Samah Aburakhia (@aburakhiaibrahim), who is displaced with his family in Gaza amidst truly horrific circumstances.

Samah's family consists of 28 people, 15 of whom are children who have been deprived of an education and basic necessities for nearly an entire year now.

Samah is trying to raise the funds necessary for his family's survival, but donations have been incredibly slow, and his campaign is suffering from extreme stagnation. So far, they have raised $5,605 CAD out of a $50,000 CAD goal. They received only one donation yesterday, and the one before that was eleven days ago.

Please consider donating if it is within your means. $5 CAD is equivalent to roughly $3.70 USD, and will go a long way in providing this family with material help in the face of the exorbitant prices of food, water and shelter. Not only that, but you will be giving them hope that they will be able to rebuild their lives from this devastation. I hope we can all work together to help Samah and his family as much as we can!

Our four-story home, which included two apartments and a supermarket—our only source of income—was completely destroyed. We've since been displaced, constantly at risk from bombings and shelling. My sister's chronic illness has worsened due to her child's death and a lack of medication.

Now surrounded by Israeli tanks, we face extreme shortages of food, water, and electricity. Contaminated conditions have left me with hepatitis, and we’re struggling with illness and malnutrition. The situation is unbearable, and I’ve lost hope.

Urgent fundraiser

Abdulrahim is 19 years old and currently trying to raise funds for himself and his family, who were all displaced from their home in northern Gaza. They are enduring truly horrific circumstances.

Abdulrahim's father was kidnapped by the Israeli military and his whereabouts and condition are completely unknown. Abdulrahim is now responsible for looking after his family, consisting of his mother and three younger siblings. They have no income, and no way to procure food and water for themselves due to the exorbitant prices.

In Abdulrahim's own words: "I now bear the responsibility of supporting my family in the most unimaginable conditions. We were forced to flee our home and now live in a flimsy tent that doesn’t protect us from the harsh cold of winter or the scorching heat of summer. Every day is a battle to find food and water to keep my family alive."

Abdulrahim is so young to be shouldering this burden and responsibility alone. A simple donation of even $5 AUD ($3.46 USD) will provide material help to this family who desperately needs our assistance.
