When I peeked into the kitchen, she was moving around restlessly. Seems like she really is pulling out all the stops preparing dinner because it is Christmas. 

I have been calling out for her this whole time, but she just keeps on humming along and does not notice at all. She sure has some guts…ignoring me like that. 

My frustration was starting to reach its limit, so I quietly snuck up on her from behind, pinning her to the wall after grabbing hold of her arm. 

“…!? S-Shin-kun…!?”

“Aren’t you taking your festive mood a little too far? You didn’t notice me calling for you at all either.”

For one, I could care less about Christmas. I figured I’d play along with her a little because she insisted on celebrating…but being neglected like this is no fun.

“S-Sorry. I got absorbed by cooking…”

“I don’t give a damn. Pay some attention to me already.”

I forcefully sealed her lips with a kiss as she parted them to speak back. I can hear familiar Christmas songs playing in the distance. I really cannot comprehend humans for getting all excited over something like this. 

As long as I have her by my side, I don’t care about what that day is meant to represent. 

ーー Although I’m sure she’ll let it get to her head if I tell her that, so I’m keeping it a secret at all costs. 

“What’s wrong? Your face’s flushed…Kuku, you really are a lewd girl after all. Does seeing me naked make your imagination run wild?”
