I had one day to make and edit this with the help of my girlfriend and good friend. It’s crazy to think that it’s been 2 years and that I was so afraid to share something I made.

Dreams of a Day

I feel every stare,

Hear them whispering.

How much more can I bare?

You’d think I’d be living in a snake pit with all this hissing.

I think I’ll end it today,

I know it’s what they all want now that they know I’m gay.

I hear it gets better though,

At some point they say life won’t blow.

I wrote this today in honor of National Coming Out day! We’ve come a long way since I came out and felt this way. 13 years ago I never would have imagined that I could get married to a woman I love. 

Somehow I realized today that dreams can totally come true! I just need a bride now lol 

To everyone dealing with the hardships of coming out! I’ve been there, I know its hard, I know it hurts. However, Someday it will get better. You might not even notice when it does. =)
