Finding Nemo / Monsters Inc AU 🖊️

✨ With the help & inspiration from @deathanilerhellsking , old mate Brucey has been graced as a monster in the same world with Mike and Sulley & with the original addition of Ryan and Jonah ! ✨

Beast Bruce has the same laidback, roughhouse charm and jokester personality as his Great white counterpart part in down under 🇦🇺✨

- His former occupation was scarer at MI, but ultimately, he and his mate’s, Chum and Anchor, found their home away from home at Fear Co where a proud Johnny saw right at Bruce’s mammoth contribution to the company!

Bruce does have old acquaintances at MI and now and then pays a visit to his old stomping grounds, while also giving some sarcastic scolds to the cooperations use of ‘laugh’ power. 🃏

Bruce catches on about Pete’s particular bond with a HUMAN child, and with fresh knowledge of this particular boy’s love for monsters, Bruce doesn’t pass the opportunity to - ‘introduce’ himself to the young morsel- I mean, lad. 😅

I’m happy that the film adaption of the Lord of the Rings didn’t do the Scouring of the Shire, but if it did happen within Bruce’s verse… hoo boy.

He crossed Middle Earth to escape war and Mordor destroyed the very home and sanctuary he found.

Needless to say, the gloves are off and these poor Orcs are going to find out why Ologs are called ‘battle trolls’.

A younger / teenage Bruce, newly captured by Mordor Orc scouts.

Despite leaving from Mordor in his main story, Bruce originally hails from the wild Olog population in southern Greenwood / Mirkwood, hence his anatomical differences (habit of walking on all fours, sharper incisors, claws instead of nails, etc.).

He was captured at a young age, brought to Mordor, and forced into the fighting pits for food.

Hello my Ocean peeps... I have some unfortunate news that I new I needed to talk to guys about. So I have been sick for 3 days now and it has been getting worse. Then losing my voice during being sick by also coughing continuously. On top of all of this I will have to go to Collage on the 12th of August while I'm sick...

Peeps I don't know what to do... I feel stressed out, tired, and everything not nice so I'll be somewhat absent from Tumblr but will be on from time to time .. this is by far the lowest of the low for me ... I hope to get through this..

I’ve been on a Scavengers Reign kick again, and with it being one of the main inspirations for my Divearth AU, I just HAD to see what Dory and Marlin would look like in the show’s style! I haven’t done an edit like this in some time, but I’m actually super proud of how it came out. Please please watch Scavengers Reign. It’s just like Finding Nemo!*

Some context for this piece in relation to my AU: After narrowly escaping a parasitized Bruce and unstable minefield, Dory and Marlin reconvene, accompanied by an alien message and an unpleasantly stark recollection of their first close call.

*While Scavengers Reign 2023 shares a number of thematic and aesthetic similarities to 2003’s Finding Nemo, its contents are notably more visceral and a cursory glance at a list of warnings is advised! Betwixt the Horrors its beauty is sure to astound; you may or may not find yourself crying for no coherent reason while watching this show.
