would kylo ren have gone dark?

would kylo ren embrace the darkside of the force if he had differently learned who his grandfather was?

in star wars: bloodline the galaxy finds out that leia organa’s father is darth vader. one of her fellow senators finds out and tells the senate in while in session. immediately almost everyone distrusts leia. only her closest friends and allies continue to trust her. at the time her son, ben solo, does not know that his grandfather is darth vader. at the same time he was away from his parents while being trained by luke skywalker.

leia was put in a predicament. she had to let ben know who his grandfather was before he found out through the media or strangers. we do not know if ben solo found out before or after leia herself told him.

if kylo learned of his lineage elsewhere, not from leia or a loved one, would he take the information negatively? would this give him a desire to unlock the power vader had? would it confuse him and make him feel like the galaxy is against him?

if kylo learned of his lineage from leia or a loved one, would he take the information positively and move onward with his life in the light? we will not find out how ben learned about vader until more canon material comes out regarding this situation. it's fun to speculate, and I'd love to know if ben solo went dark because of this devastating news.
