It may had already happened, but I'm going to be (possibly far) less active in the future because of mental health reasons.
I often couldn't really bring myself to draw or write, and I've been focusing on other things that aren't really related to social media.
Hope you all understand.

Sheep Sleep Ripped Assets (with Original Size of the Sprites and Intro)
Thanks for the feedback. Since sprite sheets take a while to compile, I decided to focus on the original sizes first before doing the upscaled ones. I'll do the same for Crash Lambding, another SITBC Shockwave game, soon.

I just recently ripped the assets from "Sheep Sleep", an early 2000s SITBC Shockwave game that was on CN's website back in the day (rip, btw), and I came into a predicament.
With the exception of the overworld ones, every sprite is in a SWF format and, consequently, rely on vector graphics which keep their quality at any resolution.
I plan on exporting them into a sprite sheet, but I am conflicted on if I should keep their original size or upscale them. On the one hand, the size of them are quite small. On the other, I don't want to risk damaging the preservation by upscaling them.

Although it's unknown if this was related to the production of SITBC, there were also some wire sculptures created by Mo Willems that were included with the production art (see the last post for more details.)

A bit of a rare SITBC (Sheep na Cidade Grande in Portuguese) promo/bumper that most likely aired on Cartoon Network Portugal.

Just making a quick post to tell you all that I apologize for the lack of activity on this blog.
Not much SITBC stuff had been shared around recently, and I've been moving away from the show since I came to realize that I don't really enjoy watching it nor think it is for me.
Like always, if you have never-before-seen/rare SITBC content, do let me know and I'll be more than happy to share it on here!

Sheep in the Big City "SheepSaver" Screensaver
Basically, it was a SITBC screensaver that was available on the UK variant of Cartoon Network's website from 2001 to 2003.
How did I manage to get a video recording of it?
It was a SWF file that can be accessed and copied in the Temp folder of your user profile (the location of it varies on different versions of Windows) while it is being previewed in the 'personalize' settings.
I also made a upload of it on Archive.org, where I think it does a much better job at explaining the above as well as provide more context of the screensaver as a whole.

SITBC CN Powerhouse Bumper - "Liquid Nitrogen" (Higher Quality Variant)
Context:
Just recently, David M Strandquest had uploaded high-quality (and possibly upscaled) as well as drafts of Powerhouse bumpers that he had made for Cartoon Network and Primal Screens, including ones of SITBC, onto his YouTube channel.
I decided to upload them onto this blog (as well as my Archive.org account, which you can find here. Though will make a proper post about the account soon.) for archival purposes.

So, I've created an Archive.org account to, well, archive stuff here, so expect that from time to time.
I want to quickly point out that it will NOT be replacing my @sitbc-archive blog with it.

The Instagram variant of the model sheet.
Tumblr media
UPDATE: I found a higher quality version of the model sheet after giving a quick look at Brian A. Miller's Twitter/X account (as Mo's post mentioned that it came from there). The Instagram variant will be replaced by the Twitter/X one, but I will make a reblog of this post which contains the former.
Literally just today, Mo Willems had uploaded a SITBC model sheet of himself from 2000, as well as a bunch of info regarding the series' press on "The Critic's Tour" in The Ritz Carlton, Los Angeles.
Mo's Description:
Baa-ck in the Day.
Here鈥檚 a model sheet from 23 years ago when Cartoon Network was launching my short-lived series, SHEEP IN THE BIG CITY.
The gag for the press was that the show was created by myself and an actual sheep with whom I鈥檇 been a writing partner for years. We even had a live sheep share the stage with me when we presented the show at Up Fronts in LA in early 2001. Wonderfully, some reporters fell for it. To be fair to them, the sheep bleated at all the right times and was such a great performer he literally ate the scenery.
The image of me w/ the puppet was from actual model sheets. I wanted Sheep to be animated as if he were a puppet, which would make him look all the more alien and oblivious.
The show was fun and a flop, but I鈥檓 surprisingly touched by how often a fan lets me know how much they enjoyed the show.
Brain's Description:
Creator self model sheets from 2000. SHEEP had just premiered. PPG & EEE were in production and on air. I don鈥檛 believe Genndy or John D ever did one. I like how everything about these reflect the man behind them.

SITBC CN Powerhouse Bumper - "Wrong Target"
Note: Since these bumpers don't have an official name, I decided to give them names of my own, based on the context of each one, to make them easier to find and identify.
Note 2: The audio gain has been increased for viewing convenience as the original was extremely quiet.
