remus lupin chronic pain haver. remus lupin cane user. remus lupin sometime wheelchair user. remus lupin with arthritis, perhaps?? remus lupin with EDS, perhaps?? either way, always, DISABLED REMUS LUPIN.

peter decorated remus’ first cane (a kinda crappy metal one) with stickers and doodles, which made remus smile every time he saw them. the boys commissioned a lovely handmade wooden one for remus for his birthday a few years after. sirius learnt woodworking solely to be able to repair/make canes for remus. james bought him some good quality finger splints because of his arthritis, and continues to replace them as needed, or buy him pretty ones for events. the boys have supported and always will support remus!!!

i love this lily forever

lily, who grew up in some dangerous neighborhood and had to learn how to stand up for herself from a very young age. lily, who lost her sister for good the moment she got her hogwarts letter, and had to live with such guilt and shame for being different from her. lily, who had to let her guard down in order to like james and sirius because of where they came from. who taught marlene how to bleach her hair, and who didn't even blink when remus told her he liked boys. lily, who swore like a sailor, but could write a school paper with a shakespearean vocabulary. who talked too fast, smiled too big and got mad too quickly (but forgot why just as quickly). who, despite it all, was funny and so kind. the one the younger kids trusted most. who the slytherins openly feared. who had a beauty as natural as breathing and the warmest hugs. who was all sharp edges, but the sweetest of insides. the one everyone was a little in love with.

regulus black who leaves the black house and is suddenly cut off… dirt poor but still with the taste of someone who grew up with the finest things - won’t eat cheese that comes wrapped in plastic, won’t drink cheap wine, won’t eat processed meat… regulus black who starts deliberately courting rich men on dating apps… experienced sugar baby regulus black who sees james potter one day at an event someone else brought him to and thinks, perfect… regulus black who makes it his life’s mission to seduce the heir to the potter fortune, but along the way finds himself, inconveniently, actually liking the man… james potter being a difficult target, as he doesn’t flaunt his wealth in the way regulus’ usual marks do, though he is of course the consummate gentleman, pays the bill and buys him flowers… regulus who tries harder, tempts him, but james still refuses to sleep with him for the first few months (james knows, of course he knows regulus’ reputation) so regulus can’t even bargain with that… but still, the more james ‘gives in’ the more regulus thinks his plan is working, but the more regulus spends time and not money the more james thinks his plan is working… regulus black and james potter who fall in love so gradually they don’t really notice until oh fuck, it hits them both…

emmeline goes jogging every morning. leggings, loose crew neck slipping off one shoulder. concentrating on breathing, letting the rhythmic movement clear their head.

AROMANTIC JAMES!! james who was asked once who his crush was when he was 11 and picked lily and never changed his mind, not because he actually wanted to date her but because she was bright and funny and had nice hair, and he knew he had to answer. also because when you’re 11… that’s silly! relationships/hookups weren’t really on his friends’ radars until later, and james was just never interested, and people just took this as a sign of his unwavering loyalty to lily. they thought he was a romantic, and so he thought he must be too. it was lily, actually, who helped him realise he didn’t actually want to date her… they became good friends and spent more time together and naturally people assumed things but really, james was just glad to have someone who knew (at that point, he hadn’t told the boys. he was too unsure, too scared of what they might say). as lily and james spent more time together, sirius got increasingly jealous. eventually, sirius confessed his feelings for james, and james was. Stunned. he explained that that wasn’t how it was with lily, but that it also wouldn’t, couldn’t be that with them either. james was heartbroken, so devastated that this close beautiful friendship had become something else, something more to padfoot. it fractured them for a while. sirius who took some time and space and realised that he didn’t actually have feelings for james, he just so loved him and wanted to be part of his family forever (laurie and jo moment) and didn’t want to be replaced. sirius and james found their way back to each other, better and different and warmer. the moment that james knew he would be loved anyway, by sirius, by lily, by everyone important to him, a knot loosened in his chest. his life was beautiful and full of love, none of it romantic!!!!!!

the first time lily and james realised that regulus has freckles they were unbelievably delighted by them. reg hates his freckles but under the sheer joy and the tracing fingers of his partners that hate begins to soften. eventually he comes to love them too, enjoying the summer months when they truly come out. he didn’t ever truly like summer until he started falling in love with his sun and his flower!!!

ohhh my god regulus black who finally leaves his abusive home and has to get a job, any job, because for the first time in his life he’s supporting himself. he lands a job as a barista in a quaint local bookstore/coffee shop, and he likes it, mostly. the pay isn’t great, but it’s enough for now, and he gets to stalk the shelves on his breaks. the only problem is the owner: stupidly attractive, dark-haired, warm-eyed james potter.

listen… remus lupin wears baggy worn blue denim jeans. he cuts a few into shorts come the summer. you can pry slim- and boot-cut jeans from sirius black’s cold dead hands. james potter went through a borderline painted on skinny jeans phase, but settled into looser jeans, though not quite as baggy as remus’. james also favours linen trousers. peter, when he wears jeans, wears similar ones to james, and patches them when they wear through. he prefers cargos and corduroy trousers, though.

ohhh my god i saw peter is a dm headcanon and i’m. YES!!

peter alternating between twenty pages of detailed prep, and sessions done on nothing but a joint, a can of redbull and a prayer. peter having a fantastic repertoire of voices and accents to use for npcs. pete having people at his tables crack up and shed tears. he’s a forever dm by choice, loves drawing threads of story and encouraging players. he’s taught so many people how to play. he has a multi-year campaign running with friends from home. he has a Hoard of dice.

he’s so good at knowing what players want. if xeno and pandora, for example, play, they’ll all smoke a joint beforehand and have the most meta, weird ass experience. marlene and sirius, it’s combat heavy. sirius also loves trying to seduce villains. james likes combat, but he also loves flirting with npcs and deepening pc relationships. peter makes it work for all of them!!!
