Have you ever heard about cave tubing? Yeah, this activity can only be found in Belize and Indonesia. I'm as Indonesian keen on try this kind of adventure. Let's check it out! The location for cave tubing in Indonesia is in Gunung Kidul, Jogjakarta. Approximately 551 km from Jakarta, it takes 8-12 hours by train. I have discussed with my friend about where do we go. And yes, Indonesia has 2 location for cave tubing, Goa Pindul (Pindul cave) and Kalisuci. And our final goes to Kalisuci. About an hour ride from Jogjakarta to Gunung Kidul, where is Kalisuci located. Frankly it's not quite difficult to find the place but we were lost couple minutes. But everything was fine. We arrived at 2PM. The last batch of cave tubing activity is at 4PM. We do registration and pay the cost about IDR 75.000/pax including insurance, safety equipment, mineral water, and light snack (instant noodles). On weekdays, there is minimum pax each batch, is about 5 visitors/batch. Different on the weekend, there's no minimum per batch, so if you are alone, you could have own private tour! What makes us choose Kalisuci, anyhow, because they limit only 200 visitors/day to keep spring and river's purity and keep the environment balance. Another note is if you have a cold allergic, asthmatic, you better not to take this because you will climb up ladder after finish cave tubing and it's about 60° ladder! Must be tiring but fun! So, do you ever want to try this? Let's cave tubing in Indonesia! 😉 XOXO

How we spent our last weekend was culinary traveling to Cirebon. It's not far from Jakarta, approximately 3 hours ride by train. I get used to have a spontaneous alert from my friend to join culinary trip, and I know it'd going to be fun! First we arrived, we were having breakfast at Nasi Jamblang Ibu Nur. Nasi Jamblang is rice which serve by teak leaf/leaves as plate layer. What's so special? Nothing special, maybe the rice has teak flavour, I couldn't described it. Lol! It shown like the first picture. As our lunch time was coming out, we were having late lunch at Empal Gentong & Empal Asam Amarta. It's located in Plered, 4 kilos outside Cirebon. As shown as picture number 2, the yellow one called Empal Gentong. It's a coconut milk based dish which contains beef and its part of the cow (you can request only meat and or others). And the transparent one is called Empal Asam, it tastes sour and very fresh! It's containing same as Empal Gentong and same as your request. Literally my tummy was so frickin full, and as my friend was craving for more, we were to eat Nasi Lengko. It's on picture no. 3, very healthy dish. Rice is combining with sprout, cucumber, tofu and tempe, and it was perfect to end our trip. Well, my friend ate it, I didn't. Ha ha ! So that was our last weekend well-spent. See you next trip. 😉 XOXO

Lombok Day 2
Hell-o! I'm back to bring another new post from Lombok. I knew it was couple months ago, but still keep in my memory. Let's just start! After we went to the East of Lombok, now we were going to the most favorite gili in Lombok, Gili Trawangan. At 8 we've prepared ourselves to go to Bangsal, the harbour where we would across the sea. It took around an hour to get there by car from Mataram. After we arrived, we bought ticket vice versa, around Rp. 26,000. And here we go! It takes about an hour to across the strait. Once we arrived, we had to book an island hopping tour to another gili, which are Gili Air and Gili Meno include lunch. The damage cost was about Rp. 100,000. And 10:30 we have started. The story has just begun.... Our first destination is Gili Air. It has very clean and clear water. Once I saw it, suddenly I jumped for swimming! Woohhhoooo! And so did my friends. We were all swimming. I didn't forget to take underwater picture. Too happy, I was forgot where the heck is my camera--I was borrowed from Mas Marcel (literally)? And it has gone.... I was panic. So were my friends. Around 15 minutes I tried to search. Been trying so hard, and I've got nothing... I was sad. Lucky me, someone who has swum around us shouted "I see a camera!". Dang! That was mine, I found my happines is back. After all, I got it back. Yes, hamdalah!! And the island hopping continue. I don't know why, after that incidence, me and my friends's mood weren't good. When another spot we had to swim, I took the challange. And the bad thing had happened again. Oh crap, I felt like I'm gonna die. And thanks God, I'm still writing this story! Hahaha. Then we had lunch. A bit fancy, but too pricey. Yeah, the famous gili... And I didn't find any good in that place. I don't want to go there anymore. Hahaha. We were going back to Bangsal, to catch sunset from Lombok. Alright, we went to Dakota, a restaurant which served Sate Rembiga.

A long way to North Sumatera - Medan
Well, it's been awhile not writing, huh? Early of this year, I was having business trip to Medan, North Sumatera. As I have taken opportunity to scheduled on Friday, so I have an extra days to have vacation! Hail! Friday afternoon after I had visited vendor, I stayed in Residen Hotel, a cheapy accomodation in the heart of Medan. Its location only 5 minutes walk from Medan Grand Mosque. The rate from IDR 75,000 - 150,000. Don't have a high expectation for this pricey room. 😁 Since it was very close with some of sites in Medan, I was just having afternoon walk to Grand Mosque and Sultan Maimoon Palace. The entrance fee is "se-ikhlas-nya" or depends on you since it was managed by the family of Maimoon. From Maimoon palace, I have met another friend from Sulawesi, he asked me to join to ride Bentor (a motorcycle like Tuktuk in Bangkok) and I nodded agree and we were city tour around Medan. Places that we have visited are Post Office Medan and Bank Indonesia building, since it was late, so we were just taking photo outside. We felt hungry, so Bang Ari, the Bentor rider brought us to Kampung Keling, and we did culinary tour. Happy tummy! Not enough with these food, Bang Ari brought us more to eat the famous fruit in the world. Ha ha! Yes, durian or king fruit from Medan are famous. After all, we have to come back since I have to catch early bus for another destination and they accompanied me to come back to hotel. Well, it's farewell! But not a goodbye either. I'll come back for next trip! Ciao!

Cerita Dari Gunung Padang
15 November 2014.
Oke lanjut, beranjak browsing-browsing, akhirnya kita nekat jalan aja bermodalkan Bismillahirrahmanirrahim! 😁
OK berangkat!!
Setelah 3 jam mengendarai motor, kami istirahat di Masjid At Ta’awun. Ya sekaligus menghilangkan rasa lelah di pantat. Ini serius. Lanjut lagi, sampai Cipanas, cuaca sudah mendung mendayu. Akhirnya di tengah-tengah, kami kehujanan. 😢
Alhasil melipir lah, dan makan. Maaf men, di sana dingin banget, jadi bawaannya lapar. Hahaha, good excuse, right? 😝 kira-kira 30 menit melipir, kemudian hujan reda. Lanjut gan!
Ya mulusnya nggak semulus paha ayam, but it’s better than jalan batu yeee.
Kira-kira 15 menit lah. Sampai lah di puncak. Dan inilah yang disebut Situs Megalitikum Gunung Padang.
Gunung Padang, The Biggest Megalithic Site on Southeast Asia.
Selfie is a must when you're on travel. Fuck yeah!
Puas foto-foto, Abah Dedi kemudian mendekati kami, menanyakan kami dari mana. Alhasil, mulai lah doi bercerita. Wallahualam.
5th level of Gunung Padang site.
Selesai bercerita, kami berikan upah seikhlasnya. si Abah menolak, namun kami sangat mengapresiasi apa yang abah ceritakan. OK, sudah mendung. Saatnya pulang. Gerimis, kemudian hujan deras. Kuyup. Lepek. Reda. Kepleset. Hujan deras lagi. Melipir. Makan Indomie. Guilty Pleasure. Hmmm. T_T
With Abah Dedi.
Sepertinya gue udah capek bercerita. Pulang-pergi 266 km. MUSAFIR!
Ini rincian biaya :
Bensin : Rp. 40.000 (2x isi full tank)
Makan Melipir : Rp. 31.000
HTM : Rp. 2.000
Tip : seikhlasnya. kalau gue sebutin, riba' namanya. hahahah
Makan melipir ke dua : Rp. 17.000 (ini gue agak tercengang karena kami memesan 2 indomie rebus telor + 2 kerupuk + larutan penyegar cap sikil tilu)
Makan di Puncak : Rp. 37.000 not worth to eat. Hahaah.
Sampai jumpa di cerita selanjutnya!
XOXO

WELCOME TO LOMBOK! Paradise on Earth in West Nusa Tenggara
Another promo from Garuda Indonesia! Well it's certainly not called a backpacking. Haha. But it' sure that we've got promo from GIA IDR 1.3 mio Jakarta - Lombok return. Yay!
I went to Lombok with my college mates. Yes, 5 of us, Arin, Eka, Kara, Depe and including me. We choose on 17th April 2014, and once again I've just followed what calendar 2014 aid that on 18th Apr will be public holiday, so it's long weekend. And once again we booked the ticket on 2013, same as Belitung. Lol!
Okay, fast forward to 17th Apr and the day is on!
17th Apr 2014 - Airport Drama
Indeed every trip that I have taken always had drama. Hahaha. Now is coming from Kara. She has been working as public servant, and hard to go on time. Because we believe the way to airport must be hard since it was long weekend and people must be have holiday too. And it was true, bad traffic on the way to airport. and she arrived 30 mins before boarding. PHEWW! Hahaha. But anyway, we were only 4 since Depe had flight next morning. So take off! And believe or not, when we went to take off, there was traffic so my plane got delayed for an hour to take off. Pfft! About 2 hours and 30 mins we flew to Lombok. At first I have contacted a driver, Pak Thoriq not to pick us up in airport. But ince it has been so late, I tried to call him again to pick u up. And we met Pak Adi, Pak Thoriq's friend. Seriously at first we were frightened since he told story that Lombok people like to "kidnapping" girls, since we are all girls! Hahahhahaha. And the meaning of kidnapping itself means for "to get married". I got you pak! Hahahahahha. About 45 mins our journey to Mataram. Yes we're going to stay in Mataram, Cakranegara area. We stayed in Oka Homestay. Very cheap and affordable, yes we are backpacker! :P We have asked Pak Adi to come at 8 in the morning to pick us up to go to airport to pick up Depe, then we go for holiday!
So goodnight!
18th Apr 2014 - Tangsi Beach and All Around
Starting around 8:00 am, we are going to pick up Depe in airport. And yes no drama at all, once arrived we are going to TANGSI BEAAACCHHH!!! What's on at Tangsi? The other name of Tangsi is Pink Beach! Heard that in Indonesia only have 2 Pink Beaches, 1 in West Nusa Tenggara (Tangsi) and another 1 in East Nusa Tenggara (Komodo Island). SO what are you waiting for?! Yay! We have been searching out that the road to Tangsi is very bad. Thus, we choose from Tanjung Luar, then rent a boat to go there.
Left to Right : Depe, Eka, Arina, Me (Pandan), Kara at Tanjung Luar
We met Mas Sophi, a nice guy from Pulau Maringkik, he will accomodate us by rent boat and etc. Let's go to the beach! Our first destination is snorkeling in Gili Cumi. Only coral that we found, but it really fresh getting swimming in the mid of the day! After we swam then we go to Tangsi and we played in there!
Gili Cumi
Enough being there by taking pictures, sun-bathing (even darker lol!) and play on the coast, we got our lunch there. Please bring your own meal since only have small shop (warung) which sell drink and instant noodle.
Tangsi Beach with Tanjung Ringgit on view
Clear Blue Sky on Tangsi Beach
Girls in action!
Sarong gallery on Tangsi. :P
After Tangsi, we were going to Semangkuk Beach. Why Semangkuk? And yes, the shape of the beach is like a bowl. We have to swimming to go there! I looooved that!!!!!
Semangkuk Beach from the boat.
Splash! And we are going to swim!
We own this beach, b*tch! :3
The next destination is Gili Pitelu. This island is full of coral, both underwater and upwater. It hurts when you step out, but the coral combination (upwater) is pretty nice.
Chillin'
These corals at the beach coast.
Be aware, it hurts to step! Ouch!
Our last destination is Gili Kere. When we sailed into Tangsi Beach, we have just passed this island. From far which I see, it is really beautiful island with the green field above the land. Mas Sopi said it will be great if we visit in the afternoon because it has low tide.
Gili Kere from far away that we seen.
OK, then this is its turn! Seriously, it's low tide and there's sea stream contour in the sand. And of course we've got jackpot! STARFISHES! But deeply sad the rain was coming, hard. Then we have to sail back to Tanjung Luar. :(
Sea stream when low tide.
Starfishes, we're meant to fly~
Gili Kere. It's been dark.
At 17:00 we have done our trip in our first day in East Lombok.
With Mas Sopi in the end of our journey.
See you in next day!
XOXO

First time in Thailand. Sawatdeeka! Day 1
Yes hello guys, as I promised before, I want to tell about all my trips.
And now, the story to be told goes to……. Thailand.
October 9 2013, the first time I was taking my annual leave *yay!, it was a beautiful morning in Soekarno-Hatta Int’l Airport, Jakarta. In Terminal 3, with my colleague, Kak Vincy waiting for Tigerair Mandala to boarding, and yes we took morning flight, so we can spend our day in Bangkok first.
Here the story goes :
Oct 9 :
About 3 hours flight from Jakarta, it was so bored. Hahaaa. Arrived in Suvarnabhumi Int’l Airport around 12 pm, we queued for immigration. And what the fuck was that, it was very full queuing there. Like Indonesia? It’s more horrible. Haha :/ OK, continue, about 30 minutes queuing, then we went out to buy sim card. We have chosen DTAC, with 299 THB (pretty damn expensive, s#it happened) because Vincy has found out information, and that provider is most recommended. Well if you guys don’t want to spend your baht, you’d better go out. Ha!
Approximately at 13:30 we had left airport by Airport Rail Link, the cost about 45 THB (it wasn't an express one, because an express only until Makkasan Station) and we went to Phaya Thai Station. Oh it was very hot weather and we were hungry as hell, but we must continue our tight schedule to go to Wat Pho near Chao Phraya River. We took BTS Sky Train Sukhumvit Line from Phaya Thai (it's different line from Airport Link, you must have a walk about 5 mins and you'll get to BTS station). To go to Wat Pho or around its area, you can take BTS Skytrain to Siam Station then transfer to Silom line and way out at Saphan Thaksin BTS. And finally you can find a pier to Chao Phraya "cruise". Yes, sail the boat, captain!!!
BTS, MRT, Airport Link Maps (http://tigerpressthai.com/)
We got 40 THB to "cruise" along Chao Phraya. It's an express one, I guess or it's a tour. If you use a normal ferry, its cost much cheaper. Was it kind of scam? I don't care. lol.
The Normal Ferry
We arrived at Pier N8 called Tha Tien, it's the nearest pier from Grand Palace and Wat Pho. Wat Arun? It's clearly just across the river from N8 pier. OK, we continued our journey and didn't realize that we were hungry since we haven't had lunch. And we have chosen Fried Rice and coconut. Its cost 60 THB for each food and 40 THB for fresh coconut.
The Fresh Coconut
Fried Rice
After our stomach was full, we continued the journey and we were...... lost! Hahahaha. FYI guys if you want to go to Wat Po, just directly go straight after you're out from the pier. It's only across the street and voila, that's Wat Pho. Unfortunately we were lost and almost got scam that Wat Pho is closed because of ceremony and bla bla, and I can't re-arrange our trip because we have to go to Krabi this afternoon. With our optimism, We went back to near exit of pier and going to the right. And it was damn right, WE FOUND WAT PHO!!!! Finally! Hahaha. We bought ticket 100 THB and its include mineral water. Wat Pho is famous by reclining golden Buddha.
Enough for Wat Pho, we came to across Chao Phraya. With cost 3 THB we went to Wat Arun. It's not large area, but it's a high temple. We didn't come there, just took photo outside because we didn't have time and we must go to Sai Tai Mai (Southern Bus Terminal) to go to Krabi. it hasn't sunset, it became dark. We were a bit panic because no one can speak English well. Damn, it's hard in Thailand! Hahaha. We tried to use tuk tuk (Thailand's traditional vehicle) to go to terminal, but they don't know. I've been tried to ask 7-11 cashier and it's useless. He can't speak English. Well..... Finally we used taxi. I forgot how much its cost, it's below 150 THB as I remembered.
Tadaaa, welcome to the Sai Tai Mai! Finally we reached out this terminal and once again, we don't know where to buy bus ticket to Krabi. It's only to short distance destination like Pattaya and else. After we were asking like and information, we must go up to the 2nd level of the building which I knew it's like department store but it has happened! There were ticket booths every company bus. Well, Thailand... Hahaha.
We bought ticket to Krabi was about 691 THB. Reclining seat, and you will get blanket, snack, juice, and breakfast (only bread). It's double-deck bus and it's quite comfy for our next 12 hours journey!
Bon voyage!
*will be continue on the next post* ;)

Day 3, Welcome to Cave Senang!
Greetings on Sunday!
Lanjuuttt, gue bangun jam 4. Kebangun karena kebelet (too much information!
Teng jam 4:30. Ngomong sama teman-teman sekamar, Bangunin ngga ya?, tiba-tiba doi teriak keluar kamar :”Woy, bangun woy!”. Lah gue kaget. Hahahahaha. Alhasil bangun lah kami semua. Nggak apa-apa. :D
Jam 5:00 kami cabcus menjemput anggota geng ++, sudah siap semua kami meluncur ke Danau Kaolin. Here it comes.
Pinang (udah diceritakan di drama Day 1. :p), Amores.
Pertama kami minta ingin sarapan khas Belitung. Dibawa lah kami ke Warung Mak Janah. Point of view gue, ini sebuah warung, isinya bapak-bapak kayak supir truk-supir truk gitu. OK santai, kami pun ramai-ramai.
Hanandjoeddin, Tj. Pandan, kami masih bertongsis-narsis ria. Dan sudah saatnya kita boarding...
It was really good place to visit, with good friends, and in the good time. :)
So, see you in another story : LOMBOK!
Have a good day!
XOXO
Pandan

Day 2 in Belitung : Islands hopping!
Welcome back!
Hahahaha.
Sekitar jam 9 kita cabcus dr Tg. Jujur aja, portnya bagus. Hahahahaha. And I am trully excited! Capcuscin!!!
Berangkat lah kita menuju pulau pertama, Pulau Lengkuas.
Stunning! And so relaxing. I love this place!
Sampai di Pulau Lengkuas, sengaja nggak pakai sendal. Hahaha. Perfect weather in perfect place with perfect people. :)
Pertama sampai P. Lengkuas, kita main-main di batu dulu. Foto-foto, ketawa-ketawa. Tongsisan, heboh deh pokoknya. Easy, gue pernah naik 1200 anak tangga!!!! Hahahahahahahah. Dengan biaya 5000 rupiah per orang, kami dipersilahkan masuk. And here it comes…. after minutes, gue sampai di puncaknya. Dan itu sangat indah sekali dan MATI! Iya, gue punya fobia dengan ketinggian. Hahahahaha. Tapi asli cantik banget!
Byurrr!!!! Not a good place for snorkle but you can meet a lot of fish. Banyak ikan sambil makan biskuit yang kita lemparin. Itu selalu menyenangkan! :)
Main air lah kita sambil tongsis-an. Hahahahahah, kelakuan!
That was very amazing places I have ever visited. :)
Sesampai di Tg. Kelayang, kita rencana ingin sunset-an di Bukit Berahu. Sayang sekali, ban mobil kami kempes.
Capcuscin lagiii!!!
Kira-kira 10 menit kali ya, perjalanan ke Bukit Berahu. Dan sunsetnya memang indah sekali. Subhanallah benar, pemilik alam semesta ini. :)
Selesai capture sunset, kita makan malam di Mie Atep, mi khas Belitung. Orang-orang bilang, konon katanya enak. Enak sih, tapi biasa aja di lidah gue. Hehehehe.
Selesai makan, pulang. Hahahah endingnya jelek banget.
Tapi asli ini, Belitung memang recommended place to visit. :)
Ada cerita lagi di Hari ke tiga, I'll be back! ;)
XOXO
Pandan.

Short Story of Belitung's Drama, Day 1.
Hello!
I got it!!!! Hahahahahah.
Tiktoktiktok, time has flown, sudah 2014, kalendar 2014 keluar and voila lagi, 31 Maret 2014 memang libur. Alhamdulilah! Semakin semangat, kita kumpal kumpul informasi dan selesai. Tinggal berangkat. Hahaha aseeek!!!
H - 1 bulan, another drama dimulai dari salah satu anggota geng yang namanya Amores! Inget aja deh nama tuh orang! Hahahaha. Pinang tanggal 4 Apr. Fuck yeah!
Eittsss tunggu dulu. Ada drama sinetron lagi nih H - 1 minggu. Kali ini datangnya dari Pida. Dia mengabarkan kalau dia terpanggil untuk interview beasiswa pada hari Jum’at atau Sabtu, namun pengumuman interview baru diumumkan hari Jum’at. Dukungan dan do’a dipanjatkan dari setiap penjuru rumah anggota grup. Hahaha. Dan pada saatnya, dia memberi kabar kalau interviewnya hari Jum’at! Fuck yeah!!!! Tapi dia hari Sabtu ada FGD. Alamakjaaaaang. Gue pribadi udah pasrah dia nggak ikut. Tapi anggota lain tetap kekeuh tanya FGD jam berapa, ternyata jam 8 dan flight kami jam 10.15. FGD biasanya 30 menit - 45 menit, yang penting kamu udah web check in!!
Kita degdegan semuanya! Hahahaha. Drama lagi drama. Akhirnya kami masuk gate, foto-foto pakai tongsis, menunggu Pida sampai ada panggilan, emang pada bakat jadi artis ya. Hahahaha. Dan PIDA DATANG!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The most dramatic scene ever from BBC. Kemudian kami tongsis-an dan on board... And so Hello Belitung! Here we come!!!!!

Our first destination is Vihara Dewi Kwan In. Entah hanya sekedar keingintahuan untuk mengunjungi vihara, atau mau mencari objek foto, kami pun langsung beraksi. Perjalanan ke Belitung Timur memakan waktu kurang lebih 2 jam, nggak pakai macet kaya Jakarta. Hahahahaha. Hahahhaha. Puas dengan foto-foto, kami lanjut ke Manggar. Rencana mau ngopi, but seems like will be wasted our time, jadi lanjut aja cin kita ke Gantong, di mana SD Laskar Pelangi berada. Dengan lama perjalanan sekitar 30 menit, yang lagi-lagi tanpa macet, kamu masih bercanda bersenda gurau. Hahahaha dasar BBC!

Emang dasar gue nggak suka kopi ya, rasanya kopi banget. heeek. Hahahahahahaaaha.
Kupi Kuli
Setelah menyeruput kopi demi kopi, hahaha salah banget kata-kata gue. Setelah selesai deh, kami melanjutkan ke lokasi shooting Laskar Pelangi, SDnya yang sangat legendaris. In fact, SDnya sebenarnya sudah hancur, saudara-saudara. HAHAHAAHHA. Sakit jiwa semuanya gara-gara tongsis!

Selfie time!
Tongsis Madness
OK jeprat jepret, it's time to go back to Tg. Pandan. Karena kami menyewa guest house di Tg. Pandan. Pandan.
So this is our story of history why'd we choose Belitung and got ticket promo cheaper as hell, and another dramas, and our first day in there.
Curious on our next day? See you on next post! :D
XOXO
