Flutteur - The Butterfly

Flutteur is a quiet soul with quite the fashion sense! If you need a wing-girl she'll be there.

WAHHHH I changed her design a LOOOOT I apologize but I also don't. When I saw Flutter the first time, I called her the "Butthead butterfly" (haha Butt-erfly... anyway.) and I needed to change it. Her and Flyte are a mix of a butterfly and a moth, because I do whatever I want. Also I accidentally spelt Flutter as Flutteur and now she's French so I guess that happened.

ONTO FLUTTEUR!

Her ability isn't really her dash anymore, it's her flying. Her wings are usually very cold down there, so she keeps them wrapped up in order to avoid damaging them. She can only really be useful on higher floors, as it gets warmer, and in larger areas, so she can fly high. There are typically items higher up, and some floors are multiple stories, so she's great for long supply runs. She doesn't typically go out, though. Not after everything.

She remembers growing up in the French countryside with her brother, Vol (though everyone calls him Flyte). Parents are a distant memory, similar to the warmth. She hates it down here. (Though all her memories are from the show).

According to the show, Flutteur was a silent fashion designer who met Glisten at a fashion show. Since then, they've worked with eachother to fix their friend's wardrobes. In reality, Flutteur was made as an Easter toon with Flyte, and it was a choice between the two of who would "stay", the fans ended up liking Flutteur more and Flyte was put in storage. This created a rift between them for a while, but it was overcome, and they're closer than ever.

(NOTE: The way her antenna are were changed in the image above, as well as giving her eyebrows)

Passive Ability- Flight! When threatened or spotted, Flutteur can gain speed by taking off her cloak and flying away. This usually lasts around a minute, or until the twisted's attention is directed elsewhere.

Note!! It's a minute because this is not an actual game. If it was in Dandy's world, yes it'd be OP, but this isn't in Dandy's world.

Flutteur is typically on longer supply runs, as I said earlier. When she flies, it's different than her Flight ability. She can fly for as long as she has energy.

More Information.

Flutteur will typically have a Bag as her "trinket" of choice, adding storage space. Due to her ability to fly, Flutteur will be able to go up and down the elevator shaft (MORE ON THIS!!! I have not explained it so you will understand later), and she can assist in recall missions/bringing people back. She can't carry much, though, so usually she can only help.

Flutteur shares a room with RnD and Teagan. It's a very quiet, orderly room. She tends to help in the storage rooms, and is willing to fly up to hang anything, or help Vee fix broken wiring. She still has to be careful that her wings aren't put through too much chill, so she can't help much anymore. Part of this is because of how the floors have been becoming gradually colder with the more floors they progress.

Flutteur is always willing to lend a helping hand or a listening ear, though her close people tend to just sit with her. She doesn't speak much, but when she does, her people are there to hear.

Technically he's been drawn out for a while but I wanted to draw out all the characters before I started posting.

I have most sketched out! Just need to color. This does include OCs, as there's about 7-10 so far (going through who will actually stay).

I haven't done the event toons but I'll get them eventually.

Yes I changed his stats. Yes I changed his ability. Yes I changed his design. At this point I don't fully know if it's Blot, but whatever I do what I want. Mimes are French. He is now French. Le petit garcon va être français. Also he doesn't... look like a mime? In the OG I mean. His Showtime skin looks like it but not his original design. There's probably lore to it but I don't know it so I'm changing it. Also I feel like he needs color, something to make him pop. I kept the gloves and the inky-ish stuff hair! I almost gave him a big bow, but had to withhold myself.

Blot M. L'ecrevain is a French Mime! (Yes the M stands for Mime) While he was technically "born" in Gardenview, Blot has vivid memories of his life in Encre, France (Not a real place), due to the show. He DOES know English and speaks it frequently, though I kept his backwards speech. When he speaks English, most can get a basic idea of what he says, Looey and Yatta understanding entirely, but when he speaks French only Looey, Yatta, and Flutteur can understand him. Why Flutteur? You'll learn later.

According to the show, Looey was auditioning for an entertainer role, when his makeup went missing!!! Blot offered to help and they became friends. Afterwards, Looey introduced Blot to his friend Yatta, who was also trying out. They all made the spots! This is where they all became best friends! (According to the show).

In reality, they all met in the daycare and wouldn't separate while being trained. (More on this later).

Blot is a silent fighter, able to come behind when one of his friends is getting attacked, and go ham. He CAN summon a gun! He must use the little hand gun thing though. But but but- bullets come from somewhere.

The first time he used it, something felt wrong. When done with the run, they did body checks (checking for Leeches or ticks, more on those later), leading to Sprout finding a section of skin on Blot's back missing.

More Information.

When Blot's on runs, he'll stay beside a trapper or low speed toon, and then proceed to beat the shit out of Twisteds. He can assist with supply runs, but it isn't recommended for him to go on exploration runs, as his extraction isn't the best, and his ability isn't support. Sometimes he will go on extermination runs, but only if needed. It isn't often you find something beyond the horrors of the everyday in that place, but extermination runs tend to find it. Sprout tends to give him about a week to recoup after extermination runs.

Blot shares a large room with the rest of the Circus trio, both of the Craft siblings, and both of the Tadpole twins. Poor quiet guy lives in chaotic hell. He won monopoly once and had 6 enemies for days.

Note!!! In the image above, you can see Blot holding an Axe, and though there is an outline on it, it just looks to be lines, that is because you can't see the weapons he summons very well. Sometimes you will see the shadows of it, as light does catch it, but I'd like to think there's something special within it so the light doesn't pass through but does. Blegh, Ichor magic. We'll do that.

Blot typically goes for weapons with momentum, like an Axe, where he can heave and get one good hit. Afterwards, he'll change to a smaller weapon, like a long blade, to make sure whatever he's fighting is dead.

omg omg omg omg so sorry I've been dead for like the whole month. Lots of personal stuff lots of video games lots of work. Woo woo! I AM NOT ABANDONING FNAF

I can focus on multiple things, guys, have faith in me. (I also did alter it so it says this is a multi-fandom blog because I don't want to have to keep track of alllaaaaattttt) Blahhh!!!! Ok ok ok

This whole au is so aughaughuahguahgg ok ok ok.

Rundown so you can know what's happening when I just spam upload;

Take Dandy's world, right, and make it a survival horror game (it already is a survival horror game but hear me out) but different. They have to go up the floors. They're on floor 0 (so far in the lore) and this is where their camp is (it resembles the toon rooms). Whenever they go on "runs" they do face the risk of dying, but it can happen 2 ways. "Natural" death can happen from infection, blood loss, starvation, however you please. "Hit" deaths happen from getting hit by the twisteds. Even if it's minor, it'll still be a mark. Everyone has 3 hearts, everyone has 'stats', everyone has an ability. (altered for mains, more on that later)

There's this whole thing about Dandy controlling the area, he's like eldritch little rat, omfg there's so much lore around this. I won't spoil it though 💔

Basically this story is centric around several arcs.

Shrimpo hiding something, learning more about Dandy, he makes strategy runs, and OH NO! falls in love with a beloved tea-cup girl. (Uh oh, Angrytea/Shrimp Cocktail warning). Shrimpo works as the main strategy and helps calling shots. (I love Shrimpo you have no idea what he has in store)

Sprout is focused on keeping everyone alive and fed. He's barely holding on, working with Vee, Brightney, Cosmo, Ginger, and anyone who'll help, to make makeshift medical equipment. He's working on strategy runs as well with Shrimpo, due to Shrimpo's preference for certain runners, and overworking some.

Astro Ruins Everything. ™

There's also the circus trio, they're there, and they're super cute. (AND THEY GET PUT IN A ROOM WITH THE CRAFT SIBLINGS AND AUHGHHH IT'S SO FUN)

There's OCs!!! Either half-made, unreleased, or failed toons. (in lore, they are not Qwel's concept art prommy) ughughughg you have no idea how much I love them.

Not a lot planned in terms of arcs but there's quite a bit going on I promise. Believe me, there's a lot in store. Comics, art, concepts, writing. Lots lots lots lots. There's already songs! But I don't release those so hahahah suffer.

Hi there I wanted to add a bit more about it in case anyone wants to know.

I've debated about the og Roxy and Bonnie being really close, mainly because Freddy already has a huge arc going on with him and I want to make the others more interesting. Freddy is in his "holy shit I'm not actually just an ai", Monty is in his self-sabotage-esk phase, Chica is in debate, Foxy is uh.. well that's spoilers (but if you read the fic you'd know!!!)

Bonnie is an entirely new ai, not the one from the previous Glamrock Bonnie like the others. He's got a whole new outfit, a new instrument, but the same face. The same smile. The same laugh.

Maybe that face has more detail, more expression than the last, but it's still the same one she knew.

anyway Roxanne is still in a debate for her arc and development over the story but that's okkk

In a little place in my heart I'd debate shipping them but I don't exactly know how I'd write that dynamic, but anyone else can feel free to.

Day 9! Together

Oops! Tripped and drew them

also screw the order of the prompts I do what I want WHEN I want (I have 'Shadows' sketched out but I don't want to do itttttt, same with 'Memory')

Probably gonna end up drawing all the prompts across the summer because I'm slow asf. Anyway, take the boys.

RAHHHH ok ok ok I really want to go to bed so I won't say much but I'll finish typing out what I've got.

So far, the daycare closes around 7pm for everyday guests, certain memberships will have different perks and employees can even leave their children there during their shifts, and if their shifts go past 7 pm then just one of the attendants will take over blah blah blah.

Past 7pm Sun and Moon swap out, one going to take rounds and the other watching the children (if there are any). During the Raves and parties, they're multipurpose. Sun loves handing out snacks and drinks (he has a chip scanner in his palm!! So when he grabs people's fazwatches or cards it can charge depending.) Moon usually acts as both a waiter and security.

Sun and Moon are NOT the only waiters/security. There are staff bots everywhere, and Sun and Moon are only really for public attention and appeal. Sure you get to see the Glamrocks and have the time of your life at a rave... but you also get to get a photo and have a conversation with the beloved daycare attendants?? You bet people will come for that.

They don't appear at all of the shows, but they'll be there for a good amount. They do not (usually) perform on stage.

Sun and Moon were almost scrapped due to their AIs jumbling together, but Parts + Service (P+S) figured that if they separated the code enough, that it would eventually sort itself out. It did not!!! They are not ok!!!

Say you take two containers of marbles and mix them together. You can eventually pick them out, right? It may take a second but it works. Now say you have blue and orange marbles in a pile, and then you pour two types of sand on it, blue and orange again. All the blue, marbles and sand, is Moon, and all the orange is Sun. You can sort the marbles out just fine, but that sand is near impossible to fully separate.

As such, they've mixed in little ways.

Sun is equally as aggressive as Moon, and Sun's crippling anxiety got spread over both of them. They did get separated in the remodeling and remaking of them, causing for a lot of.. adjusting. They can't charge alone. It scares them. One would sit with the other while they charge, but their batteries suffered until management made the cords longer to allow them to 'sleep' right by eachother. Their internal monologues are connected, they say their heads are 'too quiet' without the other.

I remember being obsessed with these guys when I was like 14, and I still remember the characterizations I had given them. Keep in mind the art above is not terribly accurate!!! It was a bit rushed.

Anyway, if anyone would be interested in a dca reader fic (Same style as my other Fic) I'd honestly write it. It'd probably be up to interpretation whether you want it to be romantic or platonic (IF I ended up writing it). I'd have a basic plot in mind, but it'd mostly be centric around just watching their shenanigans. That, and finding burnt antique robots with ungodly resolve.

Anywho! I'll be off to sleep. Again, feel free to ask any questions, I really don't mind.

Day 7 - Possession

Couldn't pick rain or no rain so I chose both. Technically had this 50% done as a wip but it fit the prompt so I did itttttt

I love them so much

rahhH!! Skinned Teeth!!! I love this story so baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaad. Slice of life turned straight into psychological horror in a chapter.

Anyhow, I'd write lore, but that'd be too nice and I'd have to stay up later, and I want to sleep. Maybe when I draw them again I'll add more about them!!!! Ballora/Emilia Afton(Maiden name Schmidt) and Henry Emily. They're so tragic. ough. yes I need them to kiss thank you for asking.

I'll include the writing snippet below that had inspired the story itself. Trigger warning for minor violence(?), body dysmorphia, uhmmm generally just sadness. Not my best writing and it was written in one go so it's got a bit of a weird taste to it, but I figured I'd share with the class if anyone is interested. I hate saying names in stories, it feels weird and interrupts my flow. So for context, "she" is Emilia Schmidt/Ballora after getting springlocked by William within Ballora, and "he" is Henry, this is a couple weeks after finding her once she'd escaped (going over how that'd work), and after she spirals. For context, the above picture is of when he first finds her after everything. blah blah blah blah. Enjoy!

Looping time spent in song and dance, the same steps memorized, the song burned into her mind. She’d long resorted to closing her eyes, hoping to find solace in sleep.

To sleep was to be alive.

Oh, to be alive. She longed to be such. Though she spun and sang with laughter in her steel throat, and her eyes blinked with the sparkle of being, she did not fit. Her reflection was enough to prove so.

A monster.

A creature.

A machine.

The way her fingers clicked on the sink, sounding as steel does upon the granite. A metallic ting she’d never escape. Nothing was the same. She did not know these eyes, nor the body that held her anger. 

She could feel the slow hand up and down her back, a comforting sensation amongst the mental anguish.

But she couldn’t look away from the demon in the mirror. 

In the dark, she could forget, relive memories, and pretend it was all as she wanted. She didn’t have to see these blackened eyes or pale skin. She could forget how her face separated when she was startled, and the horrors beneath it.

She could forget.

And how she wished to now. To be scared of her appearance.

All the nights of whispers in her ear, reassurances of beauty and love, meant nothing when she couldn’t recognize her own hands. She couldn’t feel the fur of her favorite coat, nor did it fit the same.

The stagnant hair had clung to her head for too long, but it was all she had.

It would never grow, it would never change.

Fragmented reflections weren’t any better, only more of a beast. The glass fell with her to the ground.

Someone was holding her up.

It was him.

His face was buried in her hair, and hers in his chest. She could see the blood leaking down from his pierced skin. How she wished to feel a pain like that. Unblinking eyes, yet she still couldn’t see just right.

A touch like this hadn’t graced her in years. Or was it decades? The silent years of the bunker had warped her mind several times over.

He was shaking. She could hear his tears more than feel them, a gentle tap on her silvery cheek.

“ –so sorry– I’m so– fuck…”

She couldn’t bring her arms to embrace him back, but she managed a voice.

“I know.”

Day 11 - Code

Again! I do these when I want to, how I want to, muahahhahahha.

I've had this drawn for a while but forgot about it while I was sick! Sorry yall! I was gonna schedule this for later but I'll be posting it now in the name of wanting to show my friend (and mobile tumblr being confusing)

I have a lot more versions below the cut! And a bit of poetry about it that I surprisingly did it one go. Genuinely I believe this piece started my art block, because I tried to work on arguably more important things and couldn't manage to get anything to look right, and felt like I needed to finish this one. Now that this is done I will do artfight and said important things, gah!! I couldn't figure out how I liked the lighting so made a bunch of versions (you should know that's just how I roll atp.

Also! I haven't posted because of work and the 4th, sorry! Oh well. Also I should be doing af but unless anyone attacks me I may be lazy asf.

Lore time uhm...

He is Malhare in this Au! Used to call him Glitchtrap but lowkey sick of the -trap curse, so I changed it. The little group of people following him have different names depending. This most likely won't be explained in the story but meh. Basic explanation:

His 'Hares' - Closest and most willing followers, ones that both follow his orders and allow him to control them.

'Rabbits' - Either unwilling(Reluctant muahha) or unaware followers, like Vanessa. They're some of the easiest or hardest to deal with, as they can outright sabotage his efforts, or will give in without a fight. Some examples will be seen in "Wishes of the Mockingbird." This will expand on the depths of the cult-ish-thing that is the following of the Hare.

'Bunnies' - Either new or intensely strong minded, ones he doesn't have much hold on and therefore only work as its eyes and ears to the world. Many people don't know that they're literally possessed besides a whisper in their ear telling them things. He can't do a lot with these ones.

Why is it so over-the-top with the naming stuff? Dude's copying WILLIAM "PURPLE GUY" AFTON. The BIGGEST theater kid murderer in the whole world. He's all dramatic all the time and just BLAH BLAH BLAH scary scary. The main thing different (I'm debating about keeping this detail) is that it's not as into research, moreso just doing what William can't. Each version of the mimic copies what it knows.

Debating about this detail, but I saw this story someone wrote about Glitchtrap when I was younger, it was a comic (I condemn and despise BillyBubone, but it was drawn by him for the most part), in which Vanessa would have had near-supernatural abilities when possessed/controlled by GT, and I very much do like that idea. She has to go into this deal with him through the story/a near parasitic relationship. I do like those details in and of itself and I think I may incorporate parts. Like "I fucking hate you but I'm about to die and I can't get out of this on my own, and if I die then I'm going to be unable to stop you." and GT, based on William still, is more than willing to have even the slightest bit of power over her. The whole story he's hyperfixated on these difficult 'Rabbits', defying his wishes, and needing to conquer them. Part through the story Vanessa meets another like her and they learn how to shut him out bit by bit. There's a lot to it.

Augh I love this story. I think I'll let Vanessa or maybe someone else be evil for a time. I just love those irredeemable characters who give into the manipulation, and not out of ignorance or being naïve, but purely because they're selfish and want to blame their 'letting loose of their hatred' on someone else.

Problem is I really like both versions of both bad and good Vanessa, so I may have to make an OC. I know I know, excessive ocs in an au aren't exactly my thing either, but for the sake of the story and the fact that it's MY AU I can do what I want.

"You forced me into this, I had no say!" meanwhile they could've made it stop at any time.

Anyway blah blah blah, I may draw our little crazies within the Burrow. Burrow being the wip name for the cult people. Do hares burrow? I may have to look that up.

Also I made him specifically different as a hare, because Hares ARE different than rabbits. I'm obsessed with the idea that Malhare is a hare because he doesn't have the sweet look of innocence atop his sin, like William did. I like to think William lies to himself to make it look like he's in the right. But Malhare knows what it is, and he relishes in it. I know I shouldn't make characters that are evil for the sake of being evil, but I promise there's (probably) a reason!!! I remember seeing lore in SOTM that Edwin had beaten and denounced the Mimic (reason for GT's tears, which I did keep in the Malhare design), and I think I may keep some of the bits of that. I ofc have to rework some of the lore around SOTM, but once I'm done incorporating piece of SOTM in the lore I am DOOONE with altering key lore.

I aaallso did add another color to the Malhare design, being that Green right there. I know the purple represents William/The aftons, and the Green is supposed to represent the Emilys(Emelies? spelling geeez) (at least in this story, and the Schmidts/mostly just when they separate from William, are represented by blue), but I needed to add the Green to add that eerie element, and show that the one thing Vanessa had separating her/her family line from William (she's the grand daughter or daughter (still in debate) of Michael), at least in the story, is something William (at least the copy of him) now has. Idk! I don't know how much Vanessa will know about her family line, how much her siblings will, how many siblings she HAS (I know she has a sister or brother, who is one of Gregory's parents), or much about her family at all. Oopsie! Welp. Time for me to get to work (And I by that I mean doing things that actually matter).

Sorry for yapping so hard, gah! I really really really like Vanessa. Even better when more story details are added muahahha.

It's got rhythm and a bit of subpar storytelling, hope you like it! It's about the Malhare and his grip on Vanessa, and how she really won't listen.

Note for this first one below! I actually did not mean to press burn on that layer but I loved how it made his eyes look like augh I loved it so much. So it's a version now.

Hi!!! Sorry it took so long, this was originally going to be a simple sketch/concept piece, and turned into a month long process of working on it when I could. It was a struggle but I worked pretty hard on it. Roughly about 60 hours of work went into this, a bit much even for me, and some of the detail I put in isn't even seen, but that's ok, guys! Because I know it's there. In my heart. There are people in the background doing a heart I hope you know... very far back. Anywho! I am finally out of the competition season, as I said in my fic notes, so I will possibly have more time! I really do enjoy writing this I just don't have much time at all anymore.

Hi there I wanted to add a bit more about it in case anyone wants to know.

I've debated about the og Roxy and Bonnie being really close, mainly because Freddy already has a huge arc going on with him and I want to make the others more interesting. Freddy is in his "holy shit I'm not actually just an ai", Monty is in his self-sabotage-esk phase, Chica is in debate, Foxy is uh.. well that's spoilers (but if you read the fic you'd know!!!)

Bonnie is an entirely new ai, not the one from the previous Glamrock Bonnie like the others. He's got a whole new outfit, a new instrument, but the same face. The same smile. The same laugh.

Maybe that face has more detail, more expression than the last, but it's still the same one she knew.
